  1. well i had a lot of fun but its nearin midnight here and i'm constantly yawning. i'm kind of hoping the servers stay down so that it's continued tomorrow haha. but if not, i hope you all have fun and i give all my thanks to the people who did this. had to be a lot of work, so gratz on a job well done!
  2. well, it helps to know that someone is probably as frustrated as me. hahahha.

    WTH IS GOING ON?!?!?!? :[
  3. it says the server is up, but is anyone else having trouble logging back on anyways? i was in for like 2 seconds and got map served.

AlwaysAPrice: thank you very much. i felt the same way. i tried to play it off but someone chimed in and just started getting personal so i logged.

Tokyo: it was an interaction in pocket d, i RPed there first because that's where RPer's first began to speak to me. i'm sorry if i came across as rude. and wasn't exactly looking for pity so much as advice. i was kind of pissed at the time and didn't want to take my anger out on them because like i said, i'm new at this, and just started maybe 3 days ago. i have since read the "idiots guide to RPing" but of course there's some hands on learning involved. i don't mean to offend or bother anyone and if i am i'll get out of your hair and move to a different server if it means so. this game is just a stress relief for me, and i'd rather keep stress out of it. i didn't want any fights to start so i didn't talk back, just ignored them and looked for ways to avoid a situation like that again...hence why i'm here now.

how do you deal with them in game as an RPer?

i was having a normal RP conversation, and made the mistake of assuming we all knew names of eachother. and i apologize if that seems noobish, really. i'm new at this thing. but they cussed me out for that, and for not capitalizing my i's. wth? it made me just want to quit virtue altogether. i wasn't quite sure how to respond to it as i was in RP mode. if i decide to go back in, i was wondering if i could have suggestions on how to handle it? i'm not really much for conflict and that just came off as...f*cking rude! was it really that bad of a slip up?

    Experience Tray?

I was looking at screenshots of the costume contest winner for 2008. I saw she had a tray up showing different experience information next to her target window.

  10. no suggestions on what i could do to fix this?

I plug my charger in and my computer just blacks out while i'm playing city of heroes. It also happens when i try to use my zune player. ah!
  11. ha. soo...

i figured out it only blacks out when i have CoH running and my computer charger plugged in at the same time. pretty bizarre.

i had this problem last time, therefore had to get a new laptop. i guess it burned out or something. but the lesson to be learned here is don't get an hp pavillion dv7 if your a big CoH player. :]

  13. thanks!

your link for common solutions [or something] is broken though. it says page is not found when i click on it.
  14. i got an HP laptop with windows 7 about a week ago. i was on city of heroes last night and it worked fine. at one point the screen just blacked out, and the sound stopped. i thought the computer turned off but the power light was still on as if nothing happened.

today it KEEPS happening. i log in, and i'm not on my toon for more than 40 seconds before it just blacks out on me. any reasons for why this is happening? or maybe a suggestion as to what i could do about it?
