Such a reason does not exist, sir.

And I picture Charlize Theron being cast for her.

I think you're getting too technical. This is a movie based on a comic book universe. Technical-reality went out to lunch the moment a man gained 500 pounds of green-skinned mass in a matter of seconds.
  5. Avengers: Cool seeing the GotG in action. I miss the Wendell Vaughn-era of Quasar, though.

Also, why is all Hulk doing this season is sitting in the kitchen eating turkeys?
  6. Thundercats: Hm, so Pumyra may be Lion-O's new love interest?

Young Justice Invasion: I'm liking Beast Boy's origins better here (a blood transfusion from Ms. Martian), than his standard "bitten by a green monkey" origin from the comics.

Legend of Korra: More Pro-Bending action! And love shenannigans! Poor Bolin, he's the gang's butt-monkey like Sokka was.

Green Lantern: This episode was actually interesting. Maybe it's finally starting to pick up speed.

    Ultimate Spider-Man: Hulk Smash!

Avengers: I'll be back after it airs...
  7. A spoiler on Coulson:

According to Joss Whedon (and Coulson's actor, Clark Gregg), Phil Coulson didn't actually die. Fury lied about that to motivate the Avengers. Phil survived his wound. We'll see him again.
  8. *sigh* At least Coulson will now live on in the official comics continuity.
  9. Okay,k I just got back from the movies.

    LOVED IT!

After Hulk so gently showed Loki the floor, he said something, I think. But the audience (and myself) were laughing so loud I couldn't make it out. Anyone tell me what he said?
  10. I don't get the Hub as part of my DirecTV package. Those jerks.
  11. Damn, that's cool looking. Glad they kept his lab coat on!
  12. Just recently added to the streaming service!

    Transformers (4 seasons)
    G.I. Joe (1 season)
Jem and the Holograms (1 season)

Looks like I've reliving a good chunk of my childhood this weekend!
  13. Can I marry Anne Hathaway, please?
  14. Avengers - So Scott Lang is now Ant-Man II. Also enjoyed the guest appearance of Iron Fist and Pow -- er, Luke Cage.

And the Super BFFs is great stuff, but then it IS made by the same woman who makes the My Little Pony series, so it is bound to be entertaining.
  15. This kind of slipped under my radar until I found it on Amazon, so I ordered it. A new pen-and-paper tabletop RPG for the Marvel Universe.

    "Marvel Heroic Roleplaying"

It's made my Margaret Weis Productions (the lady who co-wrote the good Dragonlance novels in the 80s), and turns out she play-tested the original Marvel Superheroes RPG (remember FASERIP?) while she worked at TSR.

Production values are very good. Paperback book, thick enough, with glossy pages and good artwork I assume is taken from various comic issues. The system seems simple but can get deeper if you want it to. An excellent stat rundown on most of the Marvel heroes, with their stats making sense.

Only issue I have with it is it doesn't make much allowance for creating your own PC heroes. The game mostly expects you and your friends to use the established Marvel characters, which I think is stupid. Sure, if you want to play Wolverine and Thor and Ms. Marvel, great, but the lack of a character creation system hurts this book, I think (the closest they come is a short section on how to adapt existing characters into other Marvel characters that weren't included, like turning Hulk into Mr. Fixit). People WANT to make their own unique heroes to play (as anyone here on the CoH boards can attest), so this was a dumb move.
  16. There's a thing on the front page advertising the Nemesis Invasion, but clicking it just links to Posi's new letter, which mentions nothing about Nem. So when can we expect this event to happen? The ad is such a tease!
  17. Haven't watched G4 since my sat provider removed it over a year ago, but X-Play was about the only decent thing on that network. I respected Adam Sessler, as he generally knew whatever he was talking about. Today is Sessler's last day, as he is leaving over a contract dispute, and word is the parting of ways is not friendly. Now G4 sucks even more.

  18. This might have to be renamed "The Rock and Bruce Willis Awesome Show"

  20. Avengers: Hell yeah! Carol Danvers makes her first appearance as Ms. Marvel! And she kicks Ronin the Accuser's butt! And she officially joins the Avengers!

And to top it all off, she's voiced by FemShep!

Right, the minions can do the Ty Lee chi-blocking martial arts, and like hers, the effects are temporary. Aman can take away bending permanently, and his method was even similar to Aang's.
  22. Young Justice: Nicely done plan to free the JL, though it felt a little rushed. I'd have liked to see this stretched out into a 2-parter.

Legend of Korra: So, the baddie can take away bending like Aang did to Ozai. That's disturbing.
  23. USM: This show still feels like it's trying too hard to be hip and funny.

Avengers: Nice to see Wonder Man finally made his face turn. Now we just have to wait for him to return from the dead. Also, why would Skrull-Cap try to let Zemo die? Wouldn't that blow his cover?
