Althouhg, there might be a chance that he appears in some future Praetorian content as a more neutral enemy - maybe even a contact - like he'd be someone who'd despise the DE for being a corruption of nature, and also despise Tyrant and his system for being so anti-nature because of the DE - he be a neutral living in his own wilderness area outside Tyrant's empire.
Or he could even have sided with the Devouring Earth during the Hamidon Wars, due to desperation/revenge/etc. and that's why he's dead now. Cole killed him during the war or something.
  2. On the new Praetoria maps (and for some reason the Longbow base maps) I get horrible framrate drops. This didn't happen before GR went live (Longbow bases ran just fine for me then). The Praetorian missions are hard enough without my framerate moving at a crawl.

  4. And so Gabe joins many gamers in the eternal cycle of "The new edition sucks! Mine was the best!"

  5. I'm really hoping future issues will update old CoH and CoV missions to the quality of Preatoria missions.

Excellent! Tell Sister to give her a good fire blast for me!

Absolutely awful. Whoever you are, writer of this: Thrrrrp!.

Are you going to make a new thread for every mission you don't like?

Great example for the kids there, Freedom Phalanx. Attempt to break into a tree, and get your brains beat out. Call yourself a Hero and kill people? A-OK!
    Pfft, Protean survived.
  9. One Moment In Time = OMIT

    Ain't that clever?
  10. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for letting me beat up Flambeaux in so many of these tip missions. She's a spoiled, selfish ditz and for some reason I get a strange sense of satisfaction ruining her plans for self-promotion. She can't even act like a proper villain. I imagine her crying in frustration every time my hero defeats her or my villain one-ups her.
  11. I enjoyed the revamped arcs. I loved teaming up with Statesman and other iconic heroes to take on the Praetorians. It made the arcs feel much more epic in scope. When you have Statesman telling you to "take the lead," you know you've reached the big leagues.
  12. Attack of the Show edited this trailer down to it's most important part. It had me hooked.

You know, until the last five minutes of tonight's episode, I didn't care much for Russel.

After that scene, he has become awesome.

    That is all.

Oh well, I guess I'll check out the latest iteration of Champs instead.
So far it looks like 3rd edition M&M has grown apart from its d20 roots.

I have only ever played the original Marvel RPG (didn't like it-- Aunt May could fall to earth from orbit and not die) and Villains and Vigilantes (liked it, but character creation was cumbersome).
Looks like there's power rankings that give a solid feel for how powerful a particular hero or villain is. Highest rank is 20. Superman is 15. Batman is 12. Darksied is 16. Note that many of these characters have stats that go beyond their general ranks due to long experience.
  19. Just to remind everyone. The DC Universe makes a long awaited returned to pen and paper RPG status this month, as Green Ronin releases the DC Adventures: Hero's Handbook hardcover! It's based on the upcoming 3rd edition of the Mutants & Masterminds rules.

They have a quick start rules pdf available now if you're curious.
  20. Newly dubbed episodes of Bleach will begin airing on Adult Swim on August 28th. It begins The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc, which is unfortunately a filler arc, but it's better than more reruns.
  21. High School of the Dead has been pretty good so far. I've only seen the first two episodes of this new zombie horror series, though. Animenetwork wants you to pay to see the rest.
  22. This is gonna be sweet! Thank you Nickelodeon!
