Yeah. It's not that bad. It's pretty light-hearted. Doom is ego-tastically over the top, which is fun.

LOL Okay that was pretty awesome.

Remember the "Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes" animated (and anime-like) series back in 2006? The one Cartoon Network kept screwing up by moving it around and maybe showing half a dozen episodes every six months or so, and it lasted a single season?
Netflix has the whole thing available for streaming now. -
Ugh, that gave me flashbacks to Joel Schumacher's batman movies...

That is cool. Now nobody can say the CDC doesn't have a sense of humor!

"Hey Barney, this is like the time I founded Wikistoneleaks!"
*cut to flashback that has nothing to do with the current scene* -
Fine season finale. Chuck was being totally badazz.

The Playboy Club, set in the 60s? I... may need to watch this for purely research purposes... >.>

Petey the Portal is creepy. No matter where you move, he turns to stare directly at you!

HUB is such a cool channel, dangit! Why doesn't DirecTV carry it for me?

Also, the final 6 episodes of season 1 will finally start airing on Disney XD, starting on Sunday, May 22nd!
-
According to Jeph Loeb, Season 2 will presumably begin around October, same as season 1, and Producer Josh Fine recently tweeted that 13 episodes have been completed.
It has been mentioned by one of the creators that there may be as many as 52 episodes.
Season 1 had 26 episodes, including the collected webisodes, so we may get a whole lot more Avengers this autumn. -

Quote:Hogun played by an Asian guy isn't that odd. The comics Hogun dresses like a ****** (and looks like Charles Bronson), you know. The Cary Elwes lookalike was Fandral the Dashing, the oddly placed Asian dude was Hogun the Grim, and of course their overweight friend was Volstagg the Valiant. Although I was hoping he would have been a bit more overweight. I agree with the earlier post that John Rhys-Davies would have been perfect for the role of Volstagg if he were a bit younger.
Fun Facts: Brian Blessed was originally slated to play Odin. And Zach Levi ("Chuck") was originally going to play Fandral!
EDIT: Okay, it's very weird that the forums censored that word. Is Mongolian better? -

Quote:The original fiction-laden announcement cites the start as the 9th.Cite please? That's not the impression I've gotten from anything I've read.

The impression I got was the invasion would be the Rikti or zombie attacks, happening in random zones throughtout the day, but that the special dates given would be where the GMs take a more direct hand and really hit us hard. -
Saw it. Enjoyed it totally.
Loved the reference to Gamma radiation, the nod to Donald Blake, and of course the after-credits scene that shows what will likely be the MacGuffin of the Avengers film.
Now, to await Cap'n A!
