  1. No, my list ends at 1600x1024

I know about the loading screen, but thank you.

I might just try rolling back to save myself the headache, but I was hoping I was merely missing something obvious or a hidden button (obviously hidden button?)

And I am so sorry for posting on the wrong forum. This should not be broken and it got me so flustered I obviously jumped in the first help forum I saw on the list.
  2. There was no okay, just apply now and cancel changes. Although assuming you meant "apply now" when I do it auto-kicks me down to the next resolution and sets that in the options. However I did as you said (it auto-kicked down, but I restarted) and you did manage to bring up the original error message I got when I started the game up after updating my driver.

    "Resolution 1920 x 1080 not supported in fullscreen mode. Defaulting to 800 x 600

This thing pops up before the loading screen, and then the game loads just fine except it is in 800x600. Now I know it is lying, and I know some of you know it is lying, but it keeps saying it and sooner or later I am going to start believing there are five lights!
  3. I am sorry for wasting anyone's time, but considering the title of this post and if you are on the forums anyways clicking stuff like that then you time is not really wasteable, huh? (( Unless you fix my problem, in which case your time is super valuable and you are very handsome/pretty and thank you very much in advance and whatnot *nod nod* ))

Short version: My client no longer wants to run in 1920x1080 fullscreen resolution.

Long Version: Every time I try to select it (listed as "1920x1080(desktop)) it kicks me down to the closest one on the pre-set list which is 1600x1200... or was it 1024... well, it is -not- what I want. I went digging through the forums and know that the game supports wide-screen resolutions and goes that high if not higher. Not to mention that was the resolution I was running as of yesterday morning

The problem began when I updated my NVidia driver (updating my graphics driver has always been the best way for me to break something followed closely by audio drivers)

    Windows 7
Nvidia GeForce GTX 465 (Driver version 280.26)

So.... there you have it. I promise I have done at least a part of my due diligence and ran several searches through the forums and clicked lots of random buttons in game, but this does not seem to be an issue and it should not be an issue and I have no idea why it is an issue which is what is driving me so insane...... fix it... please. Well, more accurately tell me how to fix it.

I know you guys usually want a diagnostic of some kind but this is such a dinky little drive a person insane because they forgot to flip the giant switch labled "I fix your problem" right over there problem. I am just hoping someone knows where that switch is right off the bat.... or hockey stick... oh! Tennis racket! ... no, I think I would prefer hockey stick.
