Do you mean having NPCs actually have audible dialog? Like when you click on them they audibly say "Hello There!" or "Wazzzup?"?

Quote:I would say I was "solo mostly" rather than "solo only". The way things work out I am either playing really late at night or really early in the morning. Not a lot of iTrials going on then, unfortunately. But, on a daily diet of Heather reruns for components, threads, and astrals/emps (and the rare iTrial I actually do get on) my main toon has everything at T3, and now T4 Alpha.Out of curiosity, how are the solo-only players doing Incarnate-wise? Everything unlocked yet? +3? T4s yet?
Frustrating thing is that I can't seem to catch a Mag trial when I am on, so until something changes I'll be without Hybrid. Would love to see cross server iTrials as that may fix this. -
I finished off all my T3s, so I thought I would just hold onto my count as I worked on a T4 (Alpha).
For what it's worth, to get my T3s my daily routine was Heather flashback (for component), Heather flashback (for threads), repeatable (for threads), and if I had time Heather flashback (for incarnate merits). My flashbacks were taking about 20 mins each, but decreased in time as I got stronger until I was consistently doing them in under 15 mins.
For my T4, my daily routine was Heather flashback (for component), Heather flashback (incarnate merits), repeatable (for threads), and if I had time Heather flashback (for threads). My best time was 12:37.
I also had a weekly routine of doing all the DA arcs for the emps. Good thing, too. I initially looked at the wrong T4 and was building for it, so I had to sidegrade some items at the last second using threads from the emps.
My final tally was:
- Common: 21
- Uncommon: 6
- Rare: 1
- Very Rare: 0 (had to build the one needed for T4)

Is the concept of cross-server teaming dead in the water, or still on the horizon? I have exactly the same problem noted here, and I can't help but think we could continually run iTrials if we could form leagues with a few from several servers.
-
Trying not to turn this into a rant, but NPCs you pick up during a mission need to move faster, especially at higher levels.
I hate the Dream Doctor arc specifically for this reason. Even when I turn off Sprint and move as slow as I possibly can, I continually lose Dream Doc and company. It's the primary reason the arc takes so painfully long for me.
I would expect it to be the opposite - that I would struggle to keep up with the mighty Dream Doctor. At the very least, I would think the guy and his pals could learn to read a map and catch up with me.
Bonus points if (assuming slots are open) you could right click on one of them and invite them to the team, so at least you could TP them. That would also help with monitoring their hit points, since they seem to stink at managing that, too.
As it is, it feels more like babysitting, which feels neither epic nor heroic. -

Beltor had a good suggestion to set a toggle for this if you absolutely need it on auto, so it's not firing constantly outside of combat. I actually have HA set to mousechord, and that makes it pretty easy for me to fire it (with my approaching-arthritic-fingers), since I'm usually using the mouse to move anyway.

Quote:It drives me nuts when players put HA on auto, except maybe during a big combat. It's noisy, annoying, and doesn't display a lot of skill with the powerset.I suppose if I ever played an Empath seriously, I might keep Healing Aura on auto, but the above applies to me in any other situation.
Having said that, I keep Vengeance on auto, because I usually forget it otherwise. -
I think I'd rather see a Batman Beyond movie next, rather than a reboot of Batman.
-
It's surprising to me that Empathy isn't listed more in this thread. I feel like it gets bashed regularly on these boards, especially at higher levels.

Heather flashbacks = 2 commons, 1 rare (finally!)
-
Two Heather flashbacks - one common, one uncommon.
I'm in thread conversation mode, now, too. I need 3 rares to have everything at T3. -

Another common from a Heather flashback.

Just to echo what others have said on here already... I can do the Heather arc in about 20 minutes with a character that has only native attack (yes, one of those pesky Empaths you hear people gripe about alot). With Lore pets and Judgment, I can run it in about 15 minutes. I do keep a few temporary powers on hand, just in case I need it - bat and hammer, primarily.
-
How about a set of craftable temp powers that are only usable by characters with a matching primary power set?
You might be able to use existing animations, maybe just add some different colors to distinguish them. For example, Empathy might have a temp power which creates an Endurance Aura (a Healing Aura, except for Endurance), and it could use the same animation as HA except with a blue aura. -
Tacking onto this conversation, could we please have a select command (similar to teamselect) to target players we have in our Focus Group?
-
Hadn't even thought about announcing it, until this post. I actually have it set to auto, so when someone goes down and I target them, it fires as soon as I am in range. I found I kept forgetting to use it, otherwise. Suppose I could build it into a macro that's set to auto, so it would announce it AND fire it?
-
Thanks for sharing that, Roswell. Now I need to run home and test it. However, if there are no binds available for it (/focusselect 1) then I'm only a little better than now.

I ran into this again last night with an iTrial, and it's incredibly frustrating. The time it takes for me to click a name, then the power (or even press a keybind for the power) is way too long, compared to my normal keybinds. And, I find I can't focus on the game itself as much.
First off, why can't *I* decide the order of the team on my screen? Does it really matter to everyone else if I move the team leader into spot 3, the tank to spot 8, the squishee to spot 1? If I could do that, I could order the team according to who probably will need the most attention, and my teamselect binds will work appropriately. This would be very helpful, even outside of iTrials.
Second, if you can't get the teamselects to order correctly, then maybe give me some way to assign it manually. Perhaps right click on the name in the team window, select "Assign Teamselect Number" -> 1. You may have to do it again once you zone, but that PITA is better than the PITA we have now.
