Amusing parody and, unless you are saying the submission we are talking about is a parody (which I doubt), it's entirely inapplicable.

Quote:Actually, I thought it was an astute observation.
I'm guessing the title was probably supposed to be "One heart breaks, others unite", or "One heartbreak, others unite"; both of which make more sense.
But the pose is very similar to the Madonna and Jesus, or Pieta (<---- click the green linky)
Considering these are very much a part of the Christian (Judeo, Orthodox or otherwise) tradition, and considering the Greek Mythos foundations of much of CoH's storyline.... I thought it was an interesting question. -

I have it on good authority* that Rangle has tickets and a room booked.
He must be plotting something.

Personally, I don't like the idea of losing my "legos".
The idea of a non-customizable, pre-fab base does not appeal.

Quote:To clarify, I believe vet rewards go in BOTH personal and normal edit modes.Hmm. This just got more puzzling. I took my main, the same character who just quit her SG, and had her create her own SG. I went into "Edit Room" mode, and clicked the "Room Details" tab, and there were all the Wall Mounted Weapon Displays and Signature Character Items that she supposedly "lost" when she left her previous SG. Weird.
The items in the normal edit tabs can be used multiple times.
If you place any from the personal edit tabs, those items will be gone forever.
Which is why, since vet rewards couldn't be re-crafted, they were made re-claimable in the past. Now that they are not re-claimable, they've been added (not moved) to the normal edit tabs.
I didn't know about items disappearing from the personal edit tabs when you leave a SG, so that's a new one on me. As AA said, in the past those items always traveled with the toon (hence, "personal"). Perhaps it is just the (claimable) vet rewards that are acting this way?

Quote:Except that there ARE substantial differences between "Free" and "Premium" in this game. It only creates more confusion to lump them together. Please do not perpetuate this problem. It takes little effort to differentiate for clarity.Well, I'm using "F2P" to mean either Free or Premium, which seems to be terminology that most folks use because of other online games.
We do have a hybrid model here, it's true, but especially the Free and Premium players don't seem to differentiate between Free and Premium status. It's all "F2P".

You did those in about 20 hours each pair? Wow, that is fast! Speedy and stylish! Hmm, I think I know what to recommend in the All Things Art thread for Icon's next fashion trend...
I thought it was Layla who did that scarf; sorry, my bad.
As for Baby Booties for Icon... I dunno... the only baby that I know of in the game is BNY... and, sorry, but that kid ain't gonna look cute no matter what ya dress 'im in.

Actually, they kinda look like my feet... and that's not necessarily a compliment.
I have very long toes; when I went swimming with my cousins as a kid, they immediately tagged me with "frog feet". yeah, nice cousins.
I also wear a size 8 1/2.... somewhat large compared to most women. I was definitely not fated to be a ballerina.
Thing is, my feet suit my stature; which is somewhat heavier and more muscular in the legs than most women.... which is also why I would never make it as a model, either.
To me, the problem here stems from the fact that the feet don't really scale to suit the rest of the body model. If you're building a muscular woman, great... otherwise, not so much. Also, the ankle area looks off to me, JMO.

LoL
I have to admit inspiration came from Layla's VIP scarf back in... when was that? Thanksgiving-ish?
I've been making high top booties for my friends for a few years, now. When I saw that scarf, I instantly thought "oooo! Hero/Villie booties!"
So, yeah, I've been working on them off and on since then.
The pattern needed some adjusting (read "math"), that took a few trials and errors. Each pair takes me about 20 hrs total. -

...and, realistically, a solid diaper change.
Methinks he needs something to complete his outfit...

It may have to do with the fact that the veteran base items can now be found in the actual normal editing tabs.
This was changed when they implemented the "claim your stuff through e-mail" function. Since you can only claim something once through e-mail, that means that there was no way to re-claim items used from the personal inventory. Stuff in the personal editing tabs are gone forever once used. The "work around" that the devs came up with was to put the items in the regular editing tabs where things could be used multiple times.
Try looking under "room details" or "other furniture" in edit mode. Go all the way to the end of the list, they should be in there somewhere...

It was suggested that I could put the defender's healing proc into Rain of Arrows on my Kin/Arch....
That tickled my funny bone a little.

Quote:lolI'm going to take a (not so) wild guess and assume this isn't the case, simply because unless you've got a schizophrenic-like split personality thing going on the boards, you're a gigantic, bigotic and xenophobic pain in the *** whereas he seems like a decent guy.
It doesn't seem too much of a stretch to assume you are someone for whom popularity is an important thing, and that you made the whole story up just to pretend you're some kind of internet celebrity everyone cares about; and yet I bet we won't see a single person popping up in this thread vouching for this supposed reality.
Haters gonna hate.
First of all... Forbin was making a joke. A little *poke poke* tongue in cheek sarcasm at Four Speed... hence, the smiley at the end of that particular statement.
Second of all... You are so far off, if it was a sport, you'd be running the wrong way and scoring against your own team. Your statements say more about yourself than anyone else.
I think there's simply been some mixed up communication. It's not really that difficult to sort out.
Back on Topic:
When I'm busy doing busy work (base, market, crafting, etc.,.) I tend to set my team flag to "not taking invites". This allows me to be sociable, but lets folks know I'm not teaming atm. Also, the red flag automagically blocks blind invites.

There is the invention license and the auction house license. They last 30 days.
They can be purchased with points on the Paragon Market... I think something like 400 points each?

Interestingly, I never had this problem with WinXP.
I used to wonder what the heck folks were grousing about.
Since I've recently "upgraded" to Win7, I have to put in my login info every time.... doesn't matter how long it's been.
Using Firefox... always have.
