  1. The Beta Server is closed while they work on some issues.

According to this thread, the server should be back 'round 5pm PST.

  2. Muuuuuuuuch better.

I like the pope-hats, they lend to the iconic aspect.
I can see how some folks might see "another game's influence" in the layered spikyness, but I think it works just fine. They are, after all, called the Circle of Thorns.
I also like the loincloth/buttcape as a substitute for the robes. Long garments also lend to the iconic CoT profile.
I'm fine with the "artistic license" for the colors. Makes it easy to pick out which one you want to smack down first.

Thank you for listening to your players.

I like saving it for needed actions like healing, holding, mezzing, damaging, etc.
I understand exactly what you are referring to here, as I do the same with my Kin/Arch defender.

What folks are saying is, if you target your tank/teammate, you will automagically be targeting through them.

The actual target window will show your tank/teammate, but you *should* see a somewhat dimmer targeting reticle on the targeted enemy.

Now, I've found that the "target through" reticle seems to be shy, and occasionally won't show up. Nevertheless, if you fire an attack (or targeted heal/buff/debuff) while targeting a teammate, it will hit the enemy that your teammate is targeting (as long as they are actually targeting something).

The benefit to this setup, is that you can see the health/end bars for both your teammate and the target; teammate in the window, target in the reticle.

You probably already figured that you can target a teammate by clicking on their name in the team window, or using the default key combo (shift+team number).

Also, as has been mentioned, there are a lot of AoE powers in this game, you may find yourself using the "target through" function less in the long run.
  5. On Warboss' Birthday, HE hands out the spankings!

    Happy Birthday tankity-tank-frogger.

    .
  6. Awwww, thanks guys.

Hubby took me out for movie and lunch... that's how us ol' folks celebrate these days.

Although, I might pop in for some Birthday Hami action tonight.

  10. While I don't mind the artwork, the white background is too glaring for me.

Hopefully via some avenue other than Facebook... I'll keep my eyes peeled.

If not, well, I'm pretty patient.
I look forward to adding it to my repertoire eventually.

I saw mention of something similar to this in another thread.
It was suggested that they check their SG costume settings (sg register -> settings). Something in the SG costume settings page was causing the chest piece to disappear.

Personally, I like to log out my lowbies in the Galaxy arena for the day job.
So, it would be nice to have an arena in Atlas or KR at least.

As for the SG beacon, I've yet to see an official answer on that.
(Doesn't mean it doesn't exist... I just haven't seen it, if it does.)

So very sorry to hear this LSK. Completely understandable if you decide to take time away from the game to be with your family.

Seemed a little slow paced at first, but it picked up.
Looks promising for a first effort.

If they select from any other range, it will not work, since the teammate does not meet the minimum level requirements. If the leader is 50 and the teammate is 44, they cannot choose the "Hero of the City" (45+) level range, but can choose any other level range. Etc.
    Ahhhh

Teammates must meet minimum requirements for the selected Flashback.
That makes more sense, thank you.

The pillar in a SG Base?

If that is true, then the P-wiki page needs to be updated.

    .
  20. Correct.

You can only send attachments via global mail (not to the toon), AND you must be on a toon that is lvl 10+ in order to send global mail.

A toon may claim attachments at any level.

So, my toon, Brigitte (lvl 50) can send global mail attachments to my mailbox using @Bo'Tanika as the recipient (limit of 20).
Then, my lowbie, NumerNum (lvl 1), can claim them.

Note that Brigitte would not send the attachments directly to NumerNum...

Also, NumerNum cannot send global mail.
Although I believe he could send a regular "toon mail" (text only) message to Brigitte, if he were so inclined.

    Edit:
Okay... just tested. Apparently, even the regular "toon to toon" mail has a lvl 10 requirement for sending. Also, you would need to have the "friends & SG only" Option (on general options menu) disabled to see them in your inbox.

According to this P-wiki page, yes.

You will be able to run the flashback, but I think the lowbies will still be unable to actually enter Ouro.

    .
  22. Your mailbox might be full... You can only have 20 global emails in your box at a time.
You can have more messages that are addressed to a specific toon, but you cannot send attachments via "toon mail". (hope that made sense)

    .
  23. Regarding Movement...

Some folks have mentioned that you can get capes early with certain booster packs, and I think I saw one mention of ninja run and beast run.

Ninja Run (martial arts pack) and Beast Run (animal pack) are great for alternative travel powers. They open for a character at level 4, I believe.

    Symbols in chat

AFIK, it's done by holding down alt while typing in a number from you numberpad (not the numbers that have shift symbols attached to them).

I just googled "symbols in text"...

    This webpage might help.

    ♠♠♠♠♠♠♠ ♥♥♥♥ ♫♫♫♫ ™™™

Edit: it seems that the symbol won't appear until you've lifted the alt key after typing in the number.
