trying out spines/WP. I knew its ST damage was teh suck but wow! Not sure if he will be around much longer.
    Fire/SD maybe.
  2. Some nice new chinese swords in broadsword (and DB for that matter). Dont know if kat has the new swords.

    new booster is win.

    QFT

I am still having trouble building a secondary scapper that is as fun as my claws/SR.
  4. I am going to go with the guy who said Thermal or tell your hubby to go with a different secondary, like electric.

Your def buffs are redundant in cold. Sure lots of other tools to be had in cold. if you insist on cold use your alternate build for not having shields and get more pool picks. once SR hits 45%, its done.

Thermal has 2 heals, Forge and melt armor. lots -res to be had and of course shields that mesh exremely well.

of course since I am completely changing you concept, drop troller and go defeder which opens up /sonic as a secondary :P.
  5. Hijack!

Does RWZ at level 50 missions have a chance to drop purples?

Looking up Council empire in wiki. I too like purples . only have one to my name.

you have a quick walk through for council empire?

Sending PM on the arc I like. I run it +2/8 with bosses. Funny thing, its full of council also.

    What are you farming?

I have found a decent AE Arc that caps out tickets fairly quickly and just doing bronze rolls. not getting a ton of keepers but a good streak can net me 50 - 80 mil inf on the market.
  8. I 5 slotted boxing for IO Mule. right now I have +6.25 recharge and if I ever get the absolute amazment thing it will go to +10%
  9. I am not the regen guy, umbral and Werner can help, but I think you want health and fast healing.

Claws are nice because of the low end usage. I think most builds push stamina into the 40s though.

Its the damage mulitplier, scrappers is higher then brutes so the damage is going to be better across the board. But I don't know how fury affects brute damage either.
  10. I really enjoy my Claws/SR and am having great fun with him. But I would like to start up another one but so far I am not enjoying them as much.

Tried DM/elec and petered out at 17
DM/Inv(made long ago pre-I3) who is 37 now, but boring
Kat/regen stopped at 27, it was enh.

So what is a good clean fun combo?

    Thinking of Fire/Will or spine/Will.

especially now that spines have real graphics now(not the bananas of lethality)

I don't particularly like having aid self either, but it is my mitigation and IO mule. I am going after harder content now and it is coming in handy again.

I hear you. I have run +4 and its great fun but takes a little work to keep ahead of the damage.
  14. Righ off the bat I see:

    Too much ranged defense
Too much end recovery, I have too much end recovery and its less then yours.
not enough global recharge (take off that lady grey in slash and get the last crushing impact for +5% rech, for example, just noticed you only used 4 in strike also and in follow up)
You are slotting to hit in Follow up, I think your wasting IO's trying to increase the to hit, its not all that effective. anyway its a damage bonus first, as long as it hits.
your regen is kinda of anemic.
Entropic chaos is cheaper then decimations and you still get good recharge, but deci's bring better damage and I am not sure how good that heal proc is anyway.

Your going for IO set bonuses in your toggles, but you only need 4 slots in your defense toggles. you are losing 6 slots that could be used better elsewhere.

    Here is my current build:

My personal feelings when I went to evis was I had more streamlined attack chains. And evis is such a huge angle cone, I easily get my max 5 out of it. I just wish we could hit 10 targets with it.

I usually go with FU, Focus, Evis, FU, Spin, focus, evis, FU, Spin, etc for my AoE. I like to spin once I double up my FU. I also have a chance for BU in Focus so I like to use it in the chain.

If I have 2+ bosses on me, I go all out every attack, making sure I have double FU before I spin. The main boss goes down quickly while I still do some damage to the surrounding mobs. by the time the boss is down all the minions and most Lts are already out as well.

I only do +2/8 on my settings though. since you like +4, you may miss the mitigation shockwave brought you.

(I feel +2 is most efficient kill/time ratio for me)
  16. I am jealous of all the purple sets.

Why not go with a Perf Shifter +endmod in Physical Perfection? You can run and hover a little faster.

If you put crushing impacts into Follow Up you can get to 100% recharge. I am not sure why you have 5 mako's in there.

I went to eviscerate about a month ago and have not missed Shockwave at all.
  17. Thanks!!!! loading it up now.

I agree, shadow Maul is sexy and I hate to lose it but if I need good AoE, I'll pull out my trusty Claws/SR.

Wow, major expensive with the 2 purple sets, and seriously, if I ever get 5 hetacombs, its going to my claws/SR. its a good review though in building an Inv based toon.
  18. Umbral,

Look at this for me and tell me what you think. (Thread derail. its DM/inv) I am leaning toward this, it was posted in my other thread but I think you might look at this one at least one more time

  19. I re entered the IO build as shown for the updated Mid's.

This seems like a PvP build strategy as there are some things I wouldn't take, but then I don't PvP.
This also looks like it is a respec build and not a leveling or exempting build. The way the slots were taken is too linear. I am thinking of starting up a spine/WP scrapper. It will have some differences though.

  20. I finally got around to loading up Aliana's build. very interesting.

    Good Recharge
soft capped to S/L and decent on others
interesting power pics from the leadership pool.
of course a ton of Kinetic combats.

Why haven't you taken that spines and fixed the graphics? They have some very nice looking spines now.

Looked at the build. nice options there. I noticed you had DC with 3 recharge IOs and I don't need the 6th oblit in Soul drain. I added one more slot to DC to get it to recharge cap and get some regen out of it by virtue of 2xsciroco's

I also need more recharge on attacks so I swapped out for a recharge IO on smite and MG. I also put some dam/rech in life drain.

I also spread out the slotting to be more forgiving at the lower levels.

right now I am 37 and have Hurdle+CJ and a sprint power. it sucks but does the job, sorta.

I think you are right. let me check out the build. thanks for posting.

The only thing I see that I wouldn't do is the Siphon life slotting. I will lose out on the the recharge but I have 2xnucleo and 2xgolgis waiting to go in.
