Acrobatics is the fourth power of Superjump powerset, isn't it? Only brutes with no knockback protection would be inclined to take it, and only for the knockback protection, not for its hold protection, which Unyielding does a much better job at doing.
If you post your build, I can make a few more suggestions. :3 My own brute didn't take Fly until level 24, so my next respec, I'm planning on swapping some powers around. But in CoV, you can pick up many temporarily travel powers to keep you going until you get your travel power, such as:
Raptor Pack (fly, 2hr) - Atlas mayhem, level 5-9
Zero-G Pack (superjump, 2hr) - Kings Row mayhem, level 10-14
Goldbricker Rocket Pack (fly, 90min) - Marshal Brass mission, level 15-19
Sky Raiders Flight Pack (fly, 1hr) - Lt. Chalmers mission, level 20-24 -
Obtained Dimensional Warder on my level 13 defender. It was Anti-Matter who I needed, but thanks anyway, Betty.
Now I just need Shrouded, and what do we have here? My Tanker just got a "Stop the Carnival attack" mission which just happens to drop Shrouded badge... :3 At least, according to paragonwiki.

My defender is now level 13, and is only missing a few things left for this accolade...
Shrouded - from an outdoor map where you have to defeat Nightstar. Entering in and out will give the exploration badge.
Defeat Bobcat
Defeat Neuron
Defeat Marauder
I'm missing one villain left, and I'm pretty sure I nabbed Anti-Matter already, so I'm thinking it's one of these three. I might have been affected by the bugged Unstoppable on Marauder and Bobcat, and if so, I'll have to fight them again. Or it might be Neuron, but I'm sure I've defeated him already.
Oh, if only the game kept track of which Praetorian AVs are defeated, and told us. :3

Wait, I don't have a mission for farming Spirit Masks. :O The only two missions I have for farming is the Illusionists, and for Multidimensional. o_o

Because illusion controllers are sort of lacking in controls, using deceive is a good way for a sort of ghetto hold. Not only does your deceive target no longer attack you (much like how a hold works), he even starts attacking his friends, or if he has buffs, will buff you. And if there's nothing about, he'll just stand still and ignore you even if you attack him.
The exp thing is minimal - you only get no exp if you're lazy enough to let your deceived target do 100% damage onto a target, which you shouldn't. Playing offensively with my ill/rad, I'd start off with Phantom Army, choose a target for my anchors, and after they're applied, deceive him. While I'm attacking everything else, deceive more people to help me finish everything off faster.
Also agree on recharges in Phantom Army. Remember that your main usage for it is aggro tanks, with damage secondary. Slotting it three Recharge IOs, followed by either three Acc/Dam HOs, or perhaps two IOs from Blood Mandate (Acc/Dam and Dam is a good idea), along with a Acc/Dam from some other set is pretty good until you can replace that lone Acc/Dam with a Acc/Dam HO. That would give you some set bonus at least from Blood Mandate in PA. -

As I said in my opening post, I had someone go into my mission for me to hold it open while I switched alts, so my now level 13 defender has it already. But thanks anyway for the offer. :3 -
Monday, hrm? I can start it at 6pm, but I'll be busy doing real life stuff between 7:30pm to around 8:30pm. I can leave the mission open, just be sure not to complete it by accident or anything.
My defender has ball lightning, so if someone can sidekick me up, I can tap all of the decoys at least once to count it as a defeat when they fade.
I'll probably be keeping the mission for a couple weeks since I made sure to open up all my other contacts at that level, and I can permadebt to slow levelling down. :3

My level 40 controller has a large train mission of carnies. With eight people, it should spawn Master Illusionists... but I'm not too sure on that.
My controller already has the illusionist badge, but ideally, I'd like my younger alts to get the badges, so if any high level people feel like helping out... -
Oddly enough, my controller has now progressed to the point where she has obtained the Multidimensional badge mission. I had someone pop into the mission for my level 13 defender to grab, and it gave SEVENTY-FIVE EXPERIENCE POINTS.
Now if you don't think that's too much powerlevelling for you, I'll be delaying completing the mission for about a week or two, so if anyone needs the exploration badge, just contact me on this thread or in-game if I happen to be on at @Ideon, and I'll hold it open for however many alts you want it on. Bear in mind I have no recall friend, so you'll have to do what my defender did and make the long run up the streets to the portal building on the right hand side as you run up to meet Castle.

Well, from illusion powers, buffs and stuff such as Tactics and Assault will only affect Phantasm. Phantom Army and Spectral Terror won't be affected. Not too sure on some of the more exotic pets such as Lightning Cloud, Tornado and Voltaic Sentry, as those seems to be a sort of "fire and forget" power rather than a true pet like most of the level 32 pets from other controller sets (and 32 pet from Dark Miasma).

Other than specific Pet-orientated IO sets put into that power, normal set bonuses won't affect Phantom Army or Spectral Terror or Phantasm. Regarding PA, you're still probably better off sticking three recharge IOs in there, and a mix of damage and accuracy IOs, or perhaps Blood Mandate: Accuracy/Damage, Blood Mandate: Damage, and maybe a Accuracy/Damage HO to give yourself a slight +recovery bonus from Blood Mandate. -

I dunno... although both have long activation times, Spectral Terror is perma out of the box with high accuracy and 45 second recharge time, while Flash starts with low accuracy and duration, and 240 second base recharge time...

If this is a post respec build, you can be pretty much assured it's not suitable for doing any task forces with. :3
You need to take Accelerate Metabolism much much earlier, either at level 4 or at level 6.
Before commenting further, I need to know if the build you're planning is either a levelling build or post respec build. :3 Some of it is just... well, if you're teaming up all the time, it probably won't matter, but if you're soloing or exemplaring down to do taskforces... -
You might want to consider using a respec to take advantage of the kheldian bug where you can shift the slots from level 3 and 5 into your Nova powers, leaving those four new slots to be used elsewhere. Who uses Ebon eye and Shadow Bolt after around level 20 anyway? :3

I'd like to quickly mention that my controller, Pirea, a demoness from Hell as it were, has been wearing the Multidimensional badge title with no other titles since level 20-something. She is currently level 37 and still enjoying her title. :3
Equally, my broadsword/dark armor scrapper is enjoying her title Shrouded too. -
Immobolize would prevent them from running anyway. Remember that:
Hold - target is unable to take any action. However, knockback and stuff will affect it (providing target does not have mag resistance to knockback).
Immobolize - target is unable to move around the map. Target can still take stationary actions such as attacking. Knockback/knockdown will not affect target.
I'm pretty sure immobolize would mean they wouldn't be able to run from Burn... -

Hrm, my mistake. It's still there with Haymaker, Knockout Blow, Handclap, and Footstomp. I guess it's just Jab (aka liver blow) and Punch (aka elbow blow) which don't have it. :3 Not sure on Hurl though, can anyone verify that? Though considering it's a ranged attack, you'd likely have to chuck the boulder with the enemy right next to you to see if there's any screenshaking.
Well, I guess four (maybe five) out of seven SS attacks with screenshaking ain't too shabby. -

If there's any immobolize powers from the patron power sets such as Scirocco's on your brute, you can combine that with handclap to effectively disorient your opponents without knocking them all over the place. -
