I'm much like you in that regard, Samuel. I don't want change coming to my basic gameplay. Now, if we're talking easy to learn steps that are used in a zone event, boss fight, or something else temporary, great! Anything that makes an event more exhilarating is fine in my book.
When it comes to character costumes and concepts, people might complain that all of my characters look "the same", but that's because they're all me. Same face, same hair, same build, but the costumes they wear all follow a unique theme. For example, I could be a simple street fighter, or a Victorian-esque Grim Reaper that shoots blood at people.
I love this game.

Honestly, I think the only Farm I've seen with a story of some sort is the Crey Cyborg fire farm. It's explained as a Crey lab that was taken over by cyborgs, and you have to destroy their equipment, and shut down the convenient interdimensional portal they use to call in more cyborgs.

My story arcs remain majorly unscathed. My top-rated arc dropped to a 4 star, but everything else is the same as it was a few days ago, albeit one of them has a few more plays than I last checked.

DAY 3 WRAP UP

I had to cut today a little short, because I have housework to do. I only got to level 14, which is high enough to get Tough, slot DOs, and run out of temporary powers. No teams today, oddly enough. I'm also running out of funds, so I might have to skip a day or two to disregard leveling and acquire money (points for reference). I have to say, after getting DOs, my survivability doubled and my pool powers also seem to do a tiny bit more damage. Despite all of these improvements, Stun Grenade and Smoke Flash are still my saviors, as mobs are becoming stronger and more abundant.
Also, special shout out to Rappa Eaze, who is a petless Mastermind inspired by my challenge.

I do believe outside bonuses and set bonuses affect temp powers. It just didn't come to me as I was making this character, so I actually expected this to be a lot harder.
I can also attest that skill helps as well. Using just my wits and the temporary powers I had, I was able to solo an accidentally aggro'd mob set for a 5-member team with cautious use of smoke flash, stun grenade, and pool powers.

Have any pointers for a returning subscriber in terms of temp powers and power selection?
I am trying to make a gimped Gangster rapper type of character. I was thinking of taking
all the temp gun and shotgun abilities weapon skills and the bat to kind of give that
thematic touch, but not too sure of the cost in inf from 1 to 50?
Sorry for the newbish question (Newbie here) are these builds really expensive in the long
run to say. . buying IOs for a normal character from those span of levels?

The build is VERY expensive, depending on the market and your own recipe drops. Just yesterday, I spent 5-6 million on temporary powers alone. I HIGHLY suggest getting a lot of pool power attacks, and I haven't even thought about the cost of IOs yet. -

This is insane, and I seriously hope making this thread isn't what caused everyone to be targetted. It's definitely sounding like a mass griefing of sorts, but the only name we have tied to it as a @Jakarta.
I'll have to check my arcs when the servers come back up. I hope they didn't get pushed down more.

Too much to reply too. In short, I agree with the rating system, the general attitude of MA, and that the interface definitely needs working over. -

Time to start up! Not sure what my goal is for the day, but I have been watching the thread for tips, and I will be taking that Kismet idea.
Also, does anyone posting on here play on Virtue? I'd love to be able to point some of you guys out.
Edit: Goal for the day, waiting for the server to come back up.

It's starting to sound like widespread griefing to me now as well. Someone is trying really hard to get non-farm arcs on the bottom of the list, and they're succeeding.
I'm still going to run story arcs and rate them how I see fit, but I very rarely give out 1 stars. I think 3 stars was the lowest I've ever given, and that was because one mission in said arc just didn't work at all. -

Don't worry, I'm not gonna update every single day.
I got to level 12 today. I spent about 6 million influence buying temporary power recipes and salvage. Bad idea, I know. Unfortunately, I was completely out of temporary power uses within two missions. I did pick up Jump Kick at 12, so now I have a solid (albeit weak) attack chain when I run out of temporary powers.
Boxing -> Jump Kick -> Brawl -> Throwing Knives
Devastating.
I'm glad everyone on the teams I join are friendly about my gimpiness, although I did have one person get a little steamed after I used Smoke Flash to get out of being overrun from a Hand Grenade misfire.

Starting day 2! Level 10 is only 3 levels away, thankfully, although I plan to reach level 12 before I give up for the day. Right now, I plan on running contact/radio missions until I can find a team.
Oddly enough, I'm thinking of ideas for a second costume already... -
