You know what I was really hoping to find out in this article?
An explanation of why/how Consiglieres are gravity controllers.

"Pure" Superadine?
[/ QUOTE ]
And/or Black Market Tech. -
Awesome!
If just for the fact that it references multiple things (an exploration badge, events in The Web of Arachnos, among others).
And it finally explains the confusion surrounding Superadine and Family bosses. -

The train points you to the mythical spirit world. The map does too.
[/ QUOTE ] It does, actually; the entire region as a whole is Croatoa (think of it as the entire county or township); the city of Salamanca is within it and is pretty small - just the one strip of buildings.
[/ QUOTE ]
But Croatoa is a name that has no meaning to city planners.
It's not like when a Salamancan comes down to Paragon for a trip they say "Oh yeah, I live up in Croatoa, which is this crazy place where the spirit world is trying to take over. Walking pumpkins and all that."
I see the name Croatoa being more like the hazard zone nicknames. They're used in common speech when talking about the zone in detail, but it doesn't replace its official name. -

Isn't the town actually called "Salamanca?"
[/ QUOTE ] I noticed that also.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's always bugged me that Salamanca is refered to as "Croatoa" in all official spots.
The train points you to the mythical spirit world. The map does too.
And "Beldam" is a term that basically means "crone". It's not meant to be "bedlam". -
Can we have word of its duration, please?

Issue 10 is a ways out, but it will bring us an update to an old familiar villain group. This group will have their power center altered
[/ QUOTE ]
Right, let's list all the villains that have a power centre.
1) The Council
2) ...
3) Er
4) That's it.

*Cough*Fifth Column*Cough*
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm under the impression that Posi's words were a fancy way of saying "The 5th Column goes from a small, rogue band of rebels, to being led BY THE REICHSMAN BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
But he thought it unbecoming to do the whole evil laugh thing in an otherwise straightforward letter. -
Sorry for the delay again, folks. I've been feeling under the weather for the majority of the weekend.

Don't use Photobucket. It resizes things poorly.
Personally, I <3 http://imageshack.us
And The Assembled Girl is Empathy/Psychic Blast. -
Oh my...
I'm going to need sunglasses though.. -

Ok here's a question for ya...
Is this limited like the Hero Gear kit/CoH CE?
Or can people comin' late to the game get a chance to get the code too?
(Considering the near-zero production cost of the code... I'd lean to "not limited" side)
I'll probably get one right away, but my GF probably won't...
(also it'd be nice if we could "toggle off" the booster graphic... My fire/ice blaster wouldn't need a jump-jet pack, but just use an "after burner" power (activate a fire power while flying... leaves a trail of fire behind ya...))
[/ QUOTE ]
It seems like there's a pretty good chance that it won't be limited. The Hero Gear Kit was probably limited due to the included RL items. -

OK, sorry for the delay everyone...I've been so busy with school. I did a pic of Graviton Girl, but I didn't like it so I am starting over. It will probably be done by tomorrow night at the least...Sorry again, and I'm gonna' starting working real hard now.
See y'all later and thank you for all your patience!

It's okay! Take your time. Yes we want you to draw our characters, but you asked for people to practice on. So practice away! We're not going anywhere.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah!
When I ask for someone to draw a pic of one of my characters, the ball is in their court, so to speak. At least when it's free.
Plus, being an artist, writer, and webmaster, I know all about delays and being busy. -
I think it's a pretty good chance that we'll be getting just the two outfits seen in the screenshots released. Heroic-looking winged/padded design and gnarly looking spider design for villains.
Offering any more costume options than that would probably incite a riot. -
I'd hope the free month wasn't included, otherwise I think they'd be losing money on it.

Will GvE's VIP card unlock the tiki room in the Pocket D? If so, will there be another way to get in, such as by giving the badge out as a veteran reward, too?
[/ QUOTE ]
The VIP Teleport Card teleports you directly to the Tiki Room. This much was confirmed on the UK site. -
$9.99?!
$9.99?!
You just made yourself $20. -
The wait is over!

Not very many things in the costume creator for disheveled homeless people, but I think something along this line might evoke "Nictus" very well.

Hope this fits. I think the sneakers are just a cute little touch.

Here's a more gruff looking costume. Couldn't really come up with much else. :/

There's one of many possible Paragon Protector approximations.
As for the other costume, I really wouldn't change anything other than tweaking the colors/color balance and playing with the patterns. -
Your suggestion would also involve me being one step up from "mostly lazy".
-
I'm currently seeking an artist for a secret project of mine.
Being a student, I don't exactly have money to throw around, so a price of $0 would be preferred.
Luckily, the project is not very intense. At most, I need 1 comic cover, and 1 interior page (4-6 panels most likely) drawn in a Golden Age appropriate style that need not be overlly complex or involved. These pages would be based on my very minor specifications. I may also require a few spare one-off panels as well.
Throw me a line if you're interested. -

So, Ian asked me to draw the Unknown Stickman. Attracted to the fact that there was no way I could screw it up, I now present this totally original, 100% not stolen picture of the Unknown Stickman!
[/ QUOTE ]
Gah! I take it back! I take it back! You somehow screwed up! -
Yay! Free art always works for me. >>
I hope these screenshots are clear enough. My proficiency with screenshots seems was low when these were taken. Just lemme know if you need anything to be clarified or re-shot.
The Earthen Devil (Hard to tell, but those are "bone" gloves and boots sans any skulls or other decoration. Also: Additional Screenshots)
The Assembled Girl
The Unknown Stickman (Is a Peacebringer, so those eyes should be rightfully glowy.) -
Other than tell you it's another "Longbow Girls Gone Wild" screenshot. These seem to be eerily common.

IMO, nothing would be amiss (or at least it would be less blatant) if her head wasn't turned back towards the camera. -
Well, so much for Fridays.
I'll get to it over the rest of the weekend.
