  1. Longbow Eagles and Mook Hitmen are specifically programmed to run.

Everything else, like that absurd Legacy Chain anecdote, is a godawful bug.

I'm reasonably sure it has something to do with a combination of lingering debuffs and enemies switching attack modes (range/melee), which is why some people see it more than others. Arachnos Widows have it pretty bad in that regard.

    Hess TF final map

That's the final map in my Time Bandits arc. It's there.

Farming needs to be addressed somehow. I think what people don't understand is exactly why AE farms are so much more damaging to the game.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And I think what the OP doesn't understand is that removing an AE building will do nothing to address that problem, aside from remove the broadcast chatter from his favored zone.

    Super Vision
    Clear Sight
    Passive, low-level To-Hit Debuff Resistance

    Keen Sight
Click power, +Perception (about the same as a small yellow, enough to defeat night widow smoke grenades). 60 second duration, 300 or so second recharge

    X-Ray Vision
Toggle power, PBAoE -defense aura. 10ft radius, no agro, 0.56 end per second. -7.5% ish defense debuff

    Spot Weakness
Click power, long recharge. Surveilance-esque enemy ‘combat attributes’ readout. Perhaps with a minor -resistance or –defense attribute

    [/ QUOTE ]

The other pools are a little hit or miss, but I like this one a lot.

    Suggestions:

    - Combine Clear Sight and Keen Sight into one power and add a small accuracy bonus. Dunno what to fill the other power slot with though.

    - Swap the order of Spot Weakness and X-Ray Vision.

    - I'm thinking make X-Ray Vision a targeted toggle, like Radiation Infection, either single target or AoE.

    - Give Spot Weakness a weak resistance debuff.

    1. Atlas Park is the most popular place for new characters to start their career. As such it is automatically a highly populated zone and is prone to lag for this very reason.

    2. During double XP weekends there is almost always two or more Atlas Parks. on a normal basis there is only two. Since the addition of the AE building the two instances of Atlas Parks is a constant. What will happen when we get another double XP weekend with two instances of Atlas Parks already? Many people do not have a computer set up to handle the kind of lag due to graphics and population as the next person.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And? Should we also remove the AE buildings from Talos Island and Cap Au Diable? They see similar crowding, and similar levels of lag. Not to mention that I get much, much more lag from Wentworth's. Maybe we should remove that first.

And you seem to not understand why there are multiple Atlas Parks in the first place. The whole point of spawning fresh instances is to keep the lag down by keeping everyone spread across them, rather than in one zone. That's a good thing!

    [ QUOTE ]
    3. The placement of the AE building in Atlas Park makes farming allot easier and in unintentional design it encourages it. Level one characters now are able to start getting power leveled immediately instead of having to take the trek to Paragon Island. Through my personal play experience it seems like Paragon Island has dropped in popularity dramatically and Atlas park farming related Broadcasts has overridden the new character chatter.

    4. There is an AE building in Galaxy City already and its not being used because the zone is usually a ghost town in the popularity department. If the AE in Atlas Park is removed see if there are enough people out there who feel the way I dothe ability for level one characters to go all the way to level 50 using just the AE system is still doable. If the farming community goes to galaxy City instead of Atlas Park all the more power to them.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Out of sight, out of mind, huh? Forcing the farmers to move to Galaxy City is not a solution. It's just as accessible as Atlas Park, to new and old players alike, and you're basically asking the devs to just move the crowds from one zone to another, rather than address the root of the problem. As some who happens to like Galaxy City, I don't want your trash.

    [ QUOTE ]
This is not ment to start heated discussions. It is only to see if enough people agree with me

    [/ QUOTE ]

Soooo not the right place for that, I'm afraid.
  6. Trolls Task Force Member works fine, it's only FBZSD that's borked.
  7. The resistance numbers baffle me as well. They need to apply the defense-resistance balance rule to those bonuses (of course the real question is: balance defense or balance resistance?). And fix oranges while they're at it.

Badges like King's Righteousness, Freedom's Defender, Talos' Might and Founders' Protector seem like lovely monikers to represent such devotion.

    [/ QUOTE ]

What zone does Freedom's Defender come from? That doesn't exactly scream Steel Canyon.

Also, this does nothing for villains, unless your villain used to live in Paragon City. And even then, badges like "King Maker" don't make very much sense anyway.
  9. Forgot to mention, but I just really like the title "Menace of Mercy Isle" for some reason.
  10. Seems like these would best be served as normal badges, similar to Trolls Task Force Member. They'd probably go under the Day Jobs tab, but I just can't see them adding so many new day job powers to go with them.
  11. Also helps that they're color-coded, though I suppose the trouble there is that there are no such thing as Regen or Recovery sets, just Healing and Endurance Modification...

    Virtue needs more RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

    [/ QUOTE ]

On the contrary, Virtue needs more smug dissatisfaction.
  13. You misunderstood them (or didn't read their entire post). They're saying instead of having a menu with three separate entries for a single type of item (Tech Vault, Arcane Vault, Whatever Else), they condense them into just one option (Vault), followed by a pull-down list of the different versions (Tech, Arcane, Etc).
  14. I recall reading that there was some trick to getting "The" at the beginning of the actual name. Don't remember what it is, though.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
We won't be getting safeguards or mayhems in the Ouroborus. It's already been stated that it's not likely to happen. So don't hold your breath.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Would love to know where you heard this, since last time it was mentioned (way back around I11, I believe), Positron said it was something they wanted to do eventually.

As for the OP: The Calvin Scott TF has been remade in the MA. It's pretty close to the original.
  16. It would be nice to have non-branded items, yes.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Adding this as an option would not give me any incentive.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is what I was getting at. This does nothing at all to sweeten the appeal of Field Crafter, primarily because it's a purely cosmetic reward with limited application.

Secondarily, because Field Crafter and its requirements are hideously designed in the first place.

Now I know the Mission Architect is slowly having restrictions placed on it due to ridiculous farming rates, including exp and ticket farming.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Would love to know what these supposed restrictions are first.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
I think maybe it should just default to "three of whatever, changes to the lowest tier of the three". So if you've GOT three 3rd tier insps it'll change to that, if not, to whatever the lowest is. They drop like skittles from the rainbow, so it's not like they're a commodity.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This, please. I hate how I'll be saving up a few Tier 2 and 3 inspirations, only to get killed be unable to combine anything.
  21. [ QUOTE ]
How about making it unlockable as a personal item that can be placed? It could be unlocked by simply having the Field Crafter accolade. That might give a little more motivation for some people to actually put in the effort to get Field Crafter.

    [/ QUOTE ]

What exactly is the value of a reward that is functionally identical to something already available?

Unless you meant it was free to place, or something.

No, the coolest animation bug ever is finding out that walking in dwarf form on a Kheldian doesn't interrupt emotes.

    *plops down a boombox*
    *slides around dancing*

    [/ QUOTE ]
Okay, I have to do this. Breakdancing is my new travel power.

[/ QUOTE ]+down doesn't break emotes, either. Therefore, for any emote you can do while flying, you can slide around with as well. Example: /em lotus, fly down, and lean the camera back so that "Down" for you is a bit forward. Slide along your butt
