You'll get generic'd if you use Paragon Studios' IP in your entire character. That includes powersets.

I rolled a plant/thorns before I15 launched, about a week before, in order to see the changes. I have seen major changes in the damage that plant/thorns does. Before, I had to run from groups in order to have enough end so I could do damage. Now, I actually can put up my own in a fight (except against an EB, but I'm not built like an EB killer... yet)

Even if the Midnight Club was level 10 to everybody, somebody who rolled up a character for the event may not want to spend time doing the arc in order to get access. Pocket D is still the best bet, as far as I know

I think it should stick in Pocket D this year, actually. That way people who are new to the game could also participate in the festivities rather than just people who have 35s.

How is TA challenging? I'd like to know why you think it's hard? Why is my TA/A defender a great asset to teams if it's so 'hard' to play Trick Arrow? There are no healing arrows because the arrowhead would keep the bandaid in anyways.

Anyways, for difficult? */Energy Aura brute. Props for Energy Melee/Energy Aura brutes. You'll have a difficult time with endurance and some enemies will make you cringe with fear. At least sonic grenades won't seriously impact your defensive capabilities!

BTW: My current Elec/Elec blaptroller is not good friends with ze floor. He's actually quite adamant about not seeing ze floor as an enemy. Total death count: 3 at level 34. Really.

Re: Humanform Warshades... Once you pass a certain level they aren't that bad. My humanform build is great solo, horrible on teams, while the inverse is true as well.

One of the best tanks on an STF team I've been on has been ice. Now, ice is generally regarded as 'useless' and a waste of powers, but the tank did pretty well.

I don't know why people say that only Stone is the only viable tank in the game. My Warshade has tanked Romulus in a ITF (in Lobster form) and definately isn't IO'd up, besides commons.

Now, talking about 'useless'... in some teams. Energy Aura as a defense set, is not useless as people may say. It may not be as strong as some other builds, but it's not 'useless'. Granted that popping Overload is the closest I could get to Godmode, and whenever I have used Overload I never have died during the overloading. Enough to off tank during a LRSF while the stone tank was faceplanted

AT: Dominator Plants/Thorns
When using the blackwand then immediate after using a thorns power that causes draw, the blackwand draw animation plays immediately after the thorns come out causing unwanted 'cannot move' time

Natural: It's either your initial powers, or powers you get through training. Easiest to consider 'natural' are ones that don't seem weird. Anybody can learn to use a bow, a sword, a shield, a mace, an axe... but can anybody gain enough strength to tear off pieces of the road and throw them at people? Yep. Also, if you're an alien, your powers are probably natural. Exceptions can occur.

Mutant: Powers manifest eventually. Can't explain it. Read x-men comics for examples of mutants. Literally.

Science: You get them from an experiment, either failed or successful. Hulk is a science hero, or villain depending what series you're reading.

Tech: Gadgets, gizmos, suits, robots... Ironman would be tech. You're a robot? You're likely tech.

Magic: Supernatural ways gave you your powers. An example is JUGGERNAUT! He found the ruby which gave him his powers. He is not a mutant. Charles is.

Now, my take on it? The majority of powers that a character has (for me, at least) determines their origin. Not ALL powers on a character need to fit their origin in their background, in my opinion. Why can my natural TA/A defender fly? Because she can harness power of magic to fly. She just doesn't use her magic that often to fight crime. She uses the bow she was trained with, and made her arrows herself. The arrows may be technical, but she's still natural.

Basically put, origin doesn't determine how ALL your powers are gotten. Magic is just easiest to explain, but it's not always "D&D magic powers!". You may have found a magical artifact, or had a spell cast on you. Perhaps you read over old books and found magical spells inside, and learned magic that way.

Don't look too deep into origin. "Hey Vegeta... I can fly!"

Note: You do not need IOs to play the game. The game was not made harder to compensate for IOs. It may seem like it was if you have IOs then play a SO'd character, but only because you had the benefits of an IO.

Just slot SOs on your villains until you get some more cash there. It's perfectly usable.
