Okay, back to reality for a moment...

My DS Lite that was broken would not be repaired for free. I'd need to pay to repair it anyways, so that can go on hold a bit. I guess I could try a repair on my own then since if I break it, they'd fix it anyways.

I will not be buying a DSi at this time since it's not a worthy purchase. The DSi only has cameras with horrible resolution and an app store (not to mention it lacks the GBA slot, and I play GBA games).

So, I'll try to get a cobalt/black DS lite, since those are sexy.

DS is large and unwieldy. Can't play it. DS Lite is not. My white one lasted a good 2 years. Just a defective model originally.

I'm looking towards the cobalt/black one. I still have my spare screen protectors for a DS Lite that I haven't used yet (yay!)

It is 5am.
I cannot sleep anymore. The rays of Mr. Sandman have not effected me. I am awake.
The disaster that effected the device called 'Nintendo DS Lite' has been in my mind. Shall I go to the replacement center and get a new copy (another DS Lite) as well as call the company that made it to see if a repair is free? If it is not free, I'm getting another one. If it is free, I'm getting another one.

Disaster after disaster has befallen me. The Nintendo DS Lite delivery that has enhanced my gameplay has also been the downfall of the old, defective unit. Stay true, my old system. You may be repaired. Only time will tell if it'll be free.

(( My DS Lite was an old white unit, which had a cracked hinge. I went to play it around the time of my previous post. I opened it, and that's when it catastrophically failed. I was planning on getting a DSi in September to supplement the DS Lite. Plans changed unexpectedly. At least I'm going to the EB Games on a Tuesday which is Taco Tuesday at Tacotime in the mall there. New DS Lite will meet new cart. Old DS Lite, if it's repair is free, will meet Nintendo. If not, it'll be a bit before I send it off. Mom will get that one along with my old stuff)

Tape does not work as a temporary solution. Only will use glue if Nintendo says they will not fix it (for free)

You see, I got my shipment today for my items for my DS Lite. All is well and fine. About 10 minutes ago, I opened up my DS Lite, and the hinge just snapped off. Waiting 3 weeks and then to send it to Nintendo would take another 3 weeks. I guess I'm out the cost of a new DS Lite (was planning on buying a DSi to suppliment this DS Lite) but looks like that plan is gone.

Sigh, hope tape works as a temporary solution until the stores open.

Horray! My delivery arrived in the morning post today. I am currently using my new acquisition. VERY worth it.

I checked the tracking website today, just for laughs, and what did I see? Those 4 words that mean so much to somebody waiting for a package.

Item out for Delivery.

Tomorrow if my delivery does not arrive the company who sent it will open a trace with the post, to find out where it is.

If you could switch on the fly, and without a timer, it'd be so exploitable. Have a power with a long recharge? Change it instantly. Permahasten without any IOs. Heck, 10x hasten. You could on the fly. The way it works now is balanced.

City of Heroes/Villains this weekend or Wii. Well if my delivery arrives on a Saturday I know the 3rd alternative.

"Guaranteed Delivery" fail. Unless it comes on a truck sometime today, they have broken the guarantee. I didn't buy it to not receive it today.

It is a bit chilly today, and today my item that I ordered is expected to arrive. I sure hope it does. It's only about an hour away from the mailman arriving.

I think I'll have Cheerios for breakfast. It's 8am. It's expected to hit 14C today. Rain all day. Somehow, I like it.

It's not the UPS guy. It's small enough to fit in the mailbox. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow

My package didn't arrive today. Tomorrow I should get the package. That'll make it so much easier.

It took a while for the tracking to change. And just today it said that. Still on track for the 14th

I'm having trouble sleeping. Hopefully the waves of Mr. Sandman will show up soon to force me to collapse. When I rouse tomorrow hopefully the package I was waiting for will show up. If not, there's always Friday. Hopefully.

My package didn't arrive today. It would have come with the regular morning mail. It's light enough. However, it didn't arrive. Maybe tomorrow. Friday at the latest.

[EDIT: Now I know why it's taking longer. My previous shipment from them went by express shipping, and this time it's the slower system. Not much slower, but still I'm getting antsy. Friday at the latest still.]
