The weekend has hit, and I was playing Metroid Prime on the Wii until late last night. Very enjoyable, with great wii controls. Yay for Metroid Prime Trilogy! Mostly adds Metroid Prime Corruption controls to Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Keeps Metroid Prime Corruption in it for completion's sake.

I gots me a nice copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy so I can play the first 2 metroid prime games without struggling with the controls!

Mine was not from a movie. First person to know where it came from will win a free cookie*.

Empire Total War is unplayable for me, but I still own it.

City of Heroes does have graphics issues. Some other game runs at 15-20fps but locks up around huge enemies when many other people are using things.

I need a new PC but can't afford it at this time. My old single core is now showing it's age.

I found out that the metroid prime trilogy is out on Wii now, but I just got Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. So many choices for games, not enough money and/or time.

*leans back in his comfy chair*

Kitteh is not added to the breakfast menu. Nor the coffee menu. But don't fret, those robots will be working hard when you people start waking up!

I saw CO at the beginning of my phase of closed beta, which wasn't the first wave. It was very unoptimized and unplayable for me. Also, I hated the way they did energy recovery and changing powers at the time. Then I tried open beta, because hey, a RL friend was also able to get into the open. It was a different game for me. It was playable.

However, I get some bad graphics problems. Emblems lack the alpha channel and are white background no matter what colors I choose, and I lack some of the more 'fluffy' graphics effects on costumes. I change graphics options and nothing really changes.

I prefer City of Heroes over Champions Online, but I'm going to Champions for a month. If I16 is released during the first month, I'm of course returning to CoH, and would just play Champions sometimes. I'm just burnt out on City of Heroes because it all is the same with my powers. I guess I'm spoiled with color customization in Champions.

My loan papers for my student loans have been sent out. Now to wait until Sept. 1 to receive my sweet, sweet money that I need to pay back sometime.

Waiting begins in 3, 2, 1...

I get to go to the bank and then get my paperwork sent in to get my student loans! Then maybe COokies when I get home. We'll see.

If Going Rogue hits stores at the same time as Champions Online, I'd be impressed. VERY impressed. Would mean they snuck up on us and released it without any information, or before I16 launches.

I think I16 will launch maybe 2 weeks after Champions Online is out. I would not release it the day of, or the week after if I was marketing. Week of would go un-noticed, week after would still have champions saturating the market a bit. 2 weeks after would have people trying the new shinies of Champions and returning home.

I've been wanting to get my WS to switch sides and truely become a Nictus like she always was. She came to Primal Earth a nictus, and only operated within the guidelines of 'arresting' without massive destrucion that would hold her accountable.

Rather be a nictus causing havoc with no accountability, you see.

I'm more interested in I16 right now, honestly.

*scavenges the fridge for some cold pizza*

I just got good news in the mail. My (Vast amount compared to $0) student grant has come in today, and just in time. I was running out of money. Also, I got the other papers for my student loans! All I need to do tomorrow is go to the bank, deposit my grant cheque, get something like a void cheque, go to a specific post office, get my papers sent off, then wait until Sept 1. to get my loan money...

So much stress just melted away at getting the money.
