    hello all.
    Hey. You missed one.
  2. We'd need a healer, and a rogue.

    And for good measure...
  3. I'm fed up on waiting on their email. It'd probably be a week. I'll call them a little later to get a key. I can't call them now, because their account offices are only open from 4pm ET-8:45pm ET (what type of hours is that?).

I'll be able to call them in about 3.5 hours
  4. I'm still waiting for Turbine to send me a free key to DDO.

I am not using multiple accounts in order to play the game.

Also, if you pay for a month of access, you get VIP treatment during that time. However, if you make a 'locked' character, like a drow or warforged, or a monk or the other one (some spellcaster), once you become free you lose access to them until you pony up the cash to buy those characters

So, once I have the game legit, who would want to roll up characters (maybe) and start a Rookery static team?

    RP preferably
  5. The classes you need in a party:
    Cleric
    Thief

You do not need anything else. Dual class cleric and thief. Cover both those bases.
  6. It's free. I'm still downloading the client (I got the download manager so it downloaded what I needed to play the game). It's still creating and validating information to actually download into that space. I wonder why it's taking that long.
  7. Well I will not rely on the 'try it for one quest' account. I even asked the support team if they could delete that account, and I sited that I accidentally made it trying to get an account key.

Shame my favorite class is not in the game. Shame my favorite melee class is not free.

    No druids, no free monks.
  8. I forget the username/pword of my old old account.

However, I did find out from their website that I need to request a product key for their game. I'd rather just have one account with my turbine games rather than 2 accounts.

Also, I did log in with a new account and tried the first mission. I do not like that you are forced to swing every time you press mouse1. However, I can get used to it.

I just don't like it because I am used to clicking on enemies in D&D PC games to attack them.
  9. You can turn off rep. It doesn't really do anything at all. It's not like AE cartels, trying to get someone down. Most people don't bother, I guess.

Also, people who have disabled rep should not be able to give positive or negative rep...

    Just my 2 inf.
  10. *pokes DDO*
Hello? I'd like to get a product key so I can apply it to my current Turbine account and not have to create a new account in order to try out the game.
  11. Yeah, Obsidian doesn't exactly like to let you go off the rails like Bioware does in their games. Perhaps your hero wants to go off to the poor district and kill some bandits there, when your main quest is to go to the rich district to help a merchant out. A guard is at the gates to the poor district.

Bioware: Sneak in the district, kill the guard, bribe the guard, find another way, or ignore it.
Obsidian: You're going to the rich district. I don't care if you want to do this, because I'm telling you that the story will not progress without you.

What I've seen with Bioware games is that you get a moral choice. If you don't want to explore with the chaotic evil ranger, you could go on your own. Sure, you'd maybe run into a few traps that the ranger knew about, but that's the fun of the game.
  12. Well, Neko. I guess I'll give a static group a try. That way I can explore a little like I did in pen and paper.

Oh, you didn't like NWN2 because Bioware did not work on it. Obsidian did (they did KotOR2 too)
  13. I tried DDO long ago. I was a mage, and my party was all "Let's finish this ASAP since it's useless to actually explore".

I prefer the exploration in D&D games. Dragon Age is not D&D, but it's the spiritual successor of Baldur's Gate, Bioware says. Since they made the epic Baldur's Gate series. Not quite the same.

I guess I may try out DDO, if it's free now. Gives me something to do until I16 launches!
  14. Yesterday marked the beginning of my new school schedule. Well, I'm in classes come Monday, and won't need to go on Fridays (but if my club starts up again, I'm going Fridays)

In other news, I preordered Dragon Age: Origins yesterday. Finally, a game where dwarves are NOT scottish.
  15. *switches on the chefbots then looks out the window*
It's only 5:47am, but it's still dark, and will be dark for a while. Days are getting shorter, and nights are getting longer. It's a weird world.

However, this day will have some FREEM associated with it since I will be adventuring to the other side (of test) and trying out some thing.

    Aka,

(( Yes, I am awake. I went to sleep at 11pm because I was so tired ))
  16. Solution to my issue:
    X is 0.
I don't need to go to classes on Fridays. No classes, no need to go. Long weekend EVERY weekend.
  17. I went to my campus today. I didn't get my course added, but I was able to get my course changed. New schedule! Fridays I go to class from X to X o'clock. It means I do not need to go at all.
  18. Busy day today. Heading to my campus to pick up my new bus pass and to hopefully get into another class that I need to graduate. Then heading to the mall for some leisure. Then heading home.

I hope I get into the class. Otherwise my schedule looks very empty.

I agree with this. There's no reason that you need to wait to change a name. However, if it's not possible under the current system, I will not worry about it.
  20. So, this is our thread for the entire weekend. Does that include Monday, being a holiday weekend?
  21. I have been awake since midnight local time basically, with 2 hours of sleep. It's 7pm. I need to hold on 3 more hours at minimum. However I'd prefer 5 to go midnight-midnight. I need to start waking up at 7am since in about a week I'll be back in school.

The PS3 hasn't had backwards compatibility for a while. First they removed the hardware chip, to keep costs down and relied on software. Then they removed the software, to make sure you'd need to also buy a PS2 (or use your old one) to play PS2 games. The slim still can play PS1 games. They can't remove that or people who buy Playstation games off PSN will not be able to play them

[EDIT]However, if you have had a PS3 with backwards compatability, either hardware or software, you would still have that compatability

No, there's one at my house hooked up to the HDTV. I have my Wii and my X360 hooked up to my SDTV, and the HDTV is usually in use.
