I love it when people probe into my character's mind. They get so much images of nonsense that makes no sense. Or their mind link is instantly broken by the protection on the mind of the character, because a spirit protects it. Enjoy your blabbering, fools. Your mind will be destroyed if you try to probe further. And then you blame me for godmoding.
Or if you reach into the mind of my dead character, you won't find anything. He's dead. He doesn't think that way.
Or how about my robot? His mind is mechanical. It's just electronic impulses. Unless you enjoy decrypting binary, you will not get it.
Also, my favorite thing to "send" people is a kangaroo, a lamppost, and a tutu. How those fit together I'll let them figure out. -
Anima.
It uses cards and dice. However, the club did not happen this week. Perhaps next week. On Tuesday I'll find out if it's going to go on this year. -
I've been on campus since 4 hours 36min ago at the time of this post. I have no idea when I'll go back home. Probably in either around 45min or if not then, 7 hours or so. No classes today, but did play a weird game until 4 (one that requires DICE!)

Bananas instead of spikes! What? My character is named 'Banana Flambe'. I made him based around the banana spikes.
-
Today I have no classes. Good to sleep in. Still going to go to campus to be there for about maybe 11 hours or so. Got a club meetin' tonight.
Tomorrow, if people would still want to try out this DDO thing in a team...
Meet up at 7pm Eastern, at the stairs towards the tavern in the Harbour district of Stormreach, in instance 3. I'll be on Dilarra the drow monk. -
You mean that AE wasn't meant to powerlevel, and it's sole purpose that it was designed for was players making their own story arcs in order to play and tell stories? Say it isn't so!
</sarcasm>
I am glad to enter Atlas and not be bombarded with broadcast spam looking for AE farms, or boss farms. I actually can find stories in the architect again, where players tell stories. The balancing of architect has really improved the game. I know that people will return to PI farms and TV farms, but at least Atlas and Cap au Diable won't be bombarded with requests to party for AE -
I appreciate the changes to AE so that people actually play the game instead of AE.

Tomorrow, I have no classes! Yay!
However, I will still go to school. I have a club meeting (hopefully) and I'm going to do some stuff with a friend until 5pm when the club should begin for the week. But I won't have to worry about classes.
Right now I'm waiting for a VM Image of Windows XP Pro to extract so I can finish this lab then head off home. I've been in this easy lab for about an hour, but it's mostly the waiting time that I'm worried about...

In other realms, at home, my X360 has started freezing unexpectedly. I hope it was just the power supply overheating. I since moved the supply on top of a box where it can get airflow properly rather than sitting on the carpet. Hopefully that'll be a solution -
Is ARRbor day soon upon us?
Of course, you know, this means war.
Or that we're in the last week of summer -
Groups of 2 only. The class has an uneven amount of people. I'm the odd one out.

Long day. Got home, had to spend an hour on tech support. The solution? The disk had a fingerprint on it so the drive didn't read it properly. At least the software is now updated so I won't have to spend hours on that again.
I hate school yet I enjoy it. I have a group project to do. My group size is 1. Everyone else has a group of 2. I'm used to always working alone. 2x the work, and half the grade because I need to do more work than anybody else. Also I got the last choice on the topic to cover. It's going to suck bad.
I bet the final project next semister I'll need to do alone, since every other project I've done alone. I hate it. Nobody in classes ever considers me as a group member. I'm just there. An obstacle. I hate that part. I pay my money and get ignored. -
I have chosen.
Martial Arts/Elec Armor scrapper. Kicks will be punches.
Enjoy. -
If you're using someone else's character that you think they would actually interact with the roleplay in any way, you should get their permission to use them. Even if it's not the character's personality, but their looks, you should at least get permission for them (such as if it was a Nemesis Automaton, trying to smear a character's reputation).
However, my opinion is quite different if you're going to be using them in AE. In AE, I think you should at least let them know you're using their character. Not getting permission, mind you. If they outright say "no" to you using them if you have them in your arc, then use a different character. -
Well, colors were the big announced feature for I16. I didn't care about colors, to be honest. Sure, they're nice and pretty, but they weren't my main focus on watching the issue. Mostly I was waiting for the super sidekicking, as I said before.
The best part of the issue to me was all the QOL updates. AE changes making Atlas Park actually able to be navigated without being bombarded with AE team requests for boss farms... able to find teams in other zones. Able to team with almost anybody in almost any zone (not sure if Ouroboros is locked to people under 25, or if the Midnight Club got it's door unlocked if you're not a member, and then there's the issue of Cimerora).
Sure there is an issue if, say, level 5s team up with a couple of 30s to tackle some level 30 content. While this can be done now, before I16 you'd need at least the 4 30s to tackle it. I'd still prefer sitting around the same ratio depending on the team. I wouldn't pack a bunch of 1s with a 50, however. -
I'll also mention I paid for the collector's edition of Dragon Age: Origins for the X360. I'm not bothering with it for the PC (because my PC probably can't run it)
I'm sitting here in school, and this teacher doesn't mind if I'm on forums, chatting, etc. I mean, it's my time, and I'm not distracting anybody by doing so. It's only a problem if you distract somebody by doing it. -
Oh, I'd need to do a Posi if I have stamina. It'd be so much more bearable to actually fight in it with Stamina (so I don't need to take a knee after every spawn, or even might needing it during the fight itself).
I appreciate them doing this to exemplaring, probably because if you're in a team where all the members are around your level, and you're doing a mission and the guy 1 level below you (ex... you're 32, your teammate is 31, you're doing his mission), you'd lose your tier 9. Of course keeping your powers up to +5 of the mission level is nice, too.
For me, power customization wasn't a huge part of this issue, that'd have me come play. It was me trying to get on some teams and finding out that they're either too low level or too high level. Now since I'd get xp either way, and there doesn't need to be a minimum of 4 mentors for a 8 man team, it'll sure help me actually get back into the game.
As long as the team is not 1 50 and the rest level 1s.

In non CoX related news, I picked up: Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Burnout Paradise, and Saints Row 2 this week. I spent around $80 for all those titles. Approx $20 a game is not a bad deal. I'll be set until Dragon Age Origins (but I have paid 100% of that and will pick it up on release day) -
I joined a team that was running at level 11, and still got XP. I was at 38. I also kept my powers that were at level 16.
Can anybody confirm the way a TF works? Do you keep powers up to +5 your level (which would make a Positron TF actually not that bad) -
TV Tropes is a dangerous website for a student.

It is in my personal beliefs that yes, today, I will go home and log into City of Heroes and head to the Founders tailor to change my colors.
-
Well you'll maybe see me in CoH tonight anyways, if it's I16 night. Of course I'll be on my blaptroller who I'll give new color for his electricity.
And this isn't a static team. Either that or I'll play Xbox (if I do not have any homework tonight) -
Tuesdays are no good for DDO for me, as I've said before. On Tuesdays I watch Hell's Kitchen, as well as Tuesdays are my late day at school.
Except for this week, and after Hell's Kitchen is over (since it's not on tonight), I will not be available on Tuesdays. If we want to do something this Tuesday, I'll need to see. I might get off class early this afternoon (since it's a lab) -
Throw me in the CoX, DDO, and LotRO boat for MMOs.
And for consoles, whatever. Right now I'm playing Lost Odyssey on the X360. -
Nothing. I plan on customizing my blaptroller.
