Well, now it's time for fun and games, since I am DONE my programming assignment. My webpage works, I made it fancy (not too fancy, I am NOT making it harder for myself. The only graphic is a 'get firefox' banner). Just basic css stuff to make it look presentable and not boring.

After the next 2 days, it'll be 2 days off then my final, then I'll be DONE for the year.

2 hours was a rough estimate. Too rough. I have finished the required parts of my project. Now it's just CSS to make it all purdy.

Only one more hard function to do in my page. After that, it's just validating the data and making everything look pretty. I mean, I might as well get everything all set up before I make it look good (because only 10% of the mark is for visual appeal). At least making the website look pretty will be a whole lot easier since I'm just going to use CSS for the style. But I got a few things done that I didn't think I'd even touch on (checking to see if a user existed before and giving an error to the user who inputted that username, checking to see if that user EXISTED to login, checking to see if the password was correct for the user)

All in all, it's been a hard ride. And I got 5 more hours to go. I think I'll be done in 2.

I'm sitting here at home today. It'll be cold outside. However, I do have an assignment due at school. Good thing it's submitted online.

Assignment is based on ALL the web stuff I've done in my class. I'm mostly using php since that's the best way to incorporate the information. I need to put in javascript somewhere, use xhtml standards, not use any depreciated tags, not use tables for the layout of my forms (I'm using divs for my layout), use css, have my sql and php incorporated as well.

It's 8am. I need to submit it by 5pm. I worked on it for 6 hours yesterday. The hardest part is done.

Today has been a day off of school. The beginning of my 4 day weekend before I need to take 2 days for class, then 2 days off, then an exam at 2am, then I'd be done for 3 weeks.

I need this break coming up.

In other news, I was doing some sewing yesterday to seal up a bunch of tears in my comforter to sleep in. I finally finished it. It was really messed up.

Brr it's cold outside, but I don't need to leave my house for the next 4 days!

I get a 4 day weekend this weekend. But I'll need to work on my project for school. After that's done, I'm done until next week. Then after next Saturday, I'd be completely done. Finished school for the year.
I can't wait.

Well, I had a 15min class today. It was a quiz, then the rest of the class was to work on a project. I would prefer not to stay at class while the temperature is -20C and under (it's below 0 F, that's all I know) when it would be worse during rush hour.

I have a 1 hour class tomorrow at 8am. I'm not going tomorrow... just 1 hour. I don't feel like waking up to go for an hour class.

I did a format and reinstall of Windows XP. I had remnants of an ATI video card (drivers), and also it didn't have proper support for my current power supply, since I changed it up. Here's to a fresh install, which will run smoothly!

Well, I installed the power supply. Turned on my PC. I got a mysterious grinding type noise. I turned it off. Disconnected CPU fan. It was not that. Disconnected video card fan. It was not that. Surely it wasn't the power supply fan, since the new one works. Of course it wasn't. I replaced my known bad with a brand new (which works)

Finally I took out my PhysX card (yes, I am one of the poor saps who bought one). The mysterious sound disappeared. So, I disconnected the fan of it and plugged it back in. My PC is now quiet without mystery sound. I doubt I'll overheat the physx card, with all my cpu fans now running at optimum speed!

Got my new power supply! It was bad without my desktop PC. 2 days is too much to go without a power supply. I even braved the snow to get my supply!

Well, I checked online for power supplies, in locations in my city. I wish I could figure out if they're 24 pin or 20 pin, since my motherboard is 20 pin. And I need at least 5 molex connectors (3 for drives, 1 for video, 1 for other). I'd prefer 7, so I could also have my case fans hooked up without using the splitter. I know I need to have the normal 4pin motherboard connector for the CPU fan...
I know I could use a 20+4 connector, since the 4 is usually seperate, but I won't know that until I got home (well the guys at the store would know).

I can spend up to $59.99. And online I see them. I don't need those insane 800W ones. I need at least 350W. 400W is optimal... And the store may have a 405W one for $49.99. If not, they'd have a 400W for $59.99.

Wish it didn't break this late in the year. I was meaning to replace it in Jan. Guess I'm overdrawing my bank account early.

I need to buy a new power supply for my PC.
My current supply is now dead. It still turns on, but I will NOT use it. So my desktop PC is currently 'dead'.

This really sucks. Bad. I can't afford the part, but I can't not buy it. And I can't wait until Christmas to get a new one, since my final project for school is coming up soon. My laptop is all I can use, for now anyways.

Why did this need to happen?
