*heads out of the Rookery into the peaceful suburban street in order to head to his house to go to bed*

My bad news from yesterday was sorted out and now it's not bad news.
It's just normal news now.
I'll put it like this: Before, I would not be able to go to school because I would not be able to pay my entire fee. (My loan money was automatically deposited)
Now, I can go because my fees are all paid up and the mistake they made was fixed. -
*sleepily wanders into the Rookery*
4 hours of sleep, but I didn't need to wake up so early. I decided to by choice...
Next week I return to classes. Hopefully, that is. -
OM NOM NOM NOM!
That's right, it's everybody's favorite monster! Cookies have been provided. And they're hopefully non-stop. -
*wanders into the Rookery*
Afternoon everyone.
I have an important dinner to go to tonight. My brother and his fiancee are going out to dinner with her parents, and we were invited along. We haven't met them yet. Of course I'm going for the free food. My parents are going to actually meet the parents.
I'm actually going to be dressed up a bit rather than my usual casual go to dinner. It's still casual, but it's more like business casual over casual casual, you know?
Only my shoes won't fit the theme of business casual. -
*keeps his eyes on his TV*
Quiet, I've been watching Hell's Kitchen for 10 hours now! Looking away during commercials. -
No, it's fine. I got the first of 2010 and the last of 2009. So that sets me.
Anyways, Hell's Kitchen is Season 4. I've seen one episode so far, and it's good. I like this show! -
I was going to start this thread, but didn't know how to start it this weekend. I guess you beat me to the punch.
I've been up since noon Jan 1, 2010. It is 7am, Jan 2, 2010. I will be watching Hell's Kitchen until the season is over on TV. Yes, there's a marathon for it today for me. I need to reset my internal clock so I don't sleep at 4am on weekdays when I need to wake up at 7am (which will be regular coming up on the 11th) -

We did not forget anything. Except the smoking wreckage of the old Rookery. But that's SO 2009. All sorts of blown up.
Today, I got yet another Mythbusters marathon on TV. There was one on Boxing day, and today there's another one. I just hope they show different episodes. -
The commotion has died down, and the last year is behind us. 2009 is no more. It has ceased to be. It is now 2010. And a new year for the Rookery does begin.
-
*pulls the switch and all the fireworks blow up*
Happy new year! -
Sorry for your loss, Pogo.
And puppeh, I did not see your thread when I posted this one. No offense to you, of course. Anyways, I have some preparations to make.
*sets up an elaborate Pyrotechnics display that's set to go off tonight*
2010 will be a big year for the city, when we can finally go through the portal into Praetoria -
This is it. The last Rookery of the year. Get ready, for there will be no more after now.

Can't exactly play offline games over wifi...

I'm doing things on my Wii that requires some time and patience. So far, it's taken about 10 hours. Not much more to go. About 20 I think at max... heh

*returns*
Okay, my phat lewt.
Clothes, clothes, more clothes, even more clothes. Some hygiene products.
My brother got me a gyroscope, a nice hoodie, a nice scarf.
I also got a 1TB External hard drive, and some food I enjoy.
My mom got a Snuggie. My brother got a set of screwdriver bits from me, and he was so touched. He didn't think you could find them in Canada. -
*puts out treats for Santa Claus then heads out for bed*
Merry Christmas Rookery friends. Hope your holiday is filled with good times with family and friends.
I am going to bed late because my brother and his fiancee came over and we watched District 9 late into the night after opening our presents this year. I can post what I got when I wake up.
But, Merry Christmas everyone. -
*jumps into the air, hitting his head on an overhanging rock*

*finally emerges from his hiding spot, then looks at the bottle of pills*
Hmm...
Not effective on Nekos.
Drat!
