    Going Rogue MIA?

Remember, NCSoft is mostly based in Seoul, Korea. Why wouldn't they market their games there, if it's their target audience?
Also, ArenaNet, makers of Guild Wars, are based in Bellevue, Washington, so your argument about them ignoring games made in the Americas is invalid. And saying that their games closed? Auto Assault, Dungeon Runners, and Tabula Rasa is not indicative of the mainstream titles that have kept them running. Tabula Rasa was promoted the hell out of, and it failed. Maybe because it was using Richard Garriott's name as the only real promotional material, but it wasn't that good. Auto Assault wasn't marketed at all. Dungeon Runners I only found out about since I was sent a beta invitation back before it failed...
At least NCSoft has more sense than Sony Online Entertainment, and actually close games when they are failing. SWG is still running, somehow, and it's really, really bad. I remember the days when it was good and not everyone was a jedi. It was fun before they added such things as 'levels', and then it died when it became a clickfest.

Another issue about GR news not being here on the forums is Twitter. Seems the devs post there instead of on the forums.
  2. I have completed an entire series of manga in my possession. Not an entire franchise, mind you. Just a series.

That series is: Dragonball. The original, no 'Z' in it. Freeza doesn't exist yet, Gohan isn't alive at all.
Next will be Yugioh, not duelist. The original, shadow games. No card games (except like, 1 person played cards and that was Seto Kaiba who screwed the rules because he had green hair). I'm just waiting on volume 6 to arrive, then I'd have all 7 volumes.

    I am a nerd.

It's actually because it's hard to target an AOE properly when you don't have an over the head view. It's a design issue with the consoles. One character at a time. It can be annoying when your dudes decide to run into the middle of an epic spell combo, since they're AI controlled.

Except on Xbox 360 or PS3. Anything above normal makes your party take damage from AoEs.

  5. My steamid is IAmTheRad, of course.

I am tired this morning. I'll survive.

    Going Rogue MIA?

I'd prefer if they said something rather then keeping it hush-hush. Even something like "we cannot disclose any further details about Going Rogue at this time" but still unvieling what was at Herocon, because some people might not even know of the panel.

    Going Rogue MIA?

They could have mean the 2nd financial quarter of the year, rather than the REAL quarter. Who knows?

Anyways, there has been no news on any future issues since Herocon, which is a bit of a shame. They wouldn't cancel GR, since that'll bring back people. Cancelling it would be a waste of money, with the devs actually working.

I'd just want to see some news of any issue release, not just this event stuff. Even updating with some GR news would be good.
  8. I have Neko on my steam friends list.
  9. Neko says hi to us all and misses chatting.
Sadly, Neko cannot respond but can still see what I'm saying.

Also, Neko gives us all hugs.
  10. I'm awake! It's a miracle! Well, it's 6:15am, and I am up and at them. I went to sleep early last night, mostly because I was tired, but I start at 8am this morning at skool with book learnin'. Might as well be up early, so I can eat this bowl of Froot Loops™, and drink this can of Cplus Orange™

  12. Don't worry. Neko will be back before long.

Wake up everyone! The day has started!

Nice picture Rad, is that a desktop?
Nope. I just found it when browsing through Kotaku. Some of the objects are actually objects in EVE Online.

Yummy! My lunch, and to top it off, a nice glass of iced tea.

why not reintroduce the rularuu invasions, or create new invasions altogether such as an arachnos invasion on heroside and longbow invasion on villainside when someone completes the STF or LRSF respectively. theres plenty of enemy groups out there to choose from, and it would be something new and fresh instead of perking up the current invasions, which a LARGE majority of poeple hardly even participate in anymore unless they need the badges.
I agree with seeing something other than Rikti and zombies. Back when the invasions of Rikti were brand new it was like "okay, we need to push em back!" but now it's old hat.
Zombies and Rikti are just annoying these days. It sort of is the mentality of you need to drop everything and fight the foe, even if you're off saving the world or destroying the world, depending on your side.

Hell, I want to see something different invading that's not holiday related.

[EDIT:] I bet for the release of GR they'll have praetorian enemies invade Paragon and the Isles then just forget about it a day later.

Hello everyone. I was up early doing math in arabic characters. In case you don't know, they're on a base 10 which makes it easy since I have the usual number of digits on my hands.
Well, we started with 8 people. One person went afk during the 3rd last mission in the caves and we waited about 10min for him, but the leader then kicked him. We then went with 7 people for the last 2. The leader fought at 14, the rest of us fought at 13. It was great levels, and a good team. It just takes a long time. We had a traps defender and a dark defender, and we did find with those 2 as defenders. Rest were blasters. I was a claws/sr scrapper, the guy who DC'd I think was a Elec/Shield scrapper.
It was fun, but tedious after it hit 11:30pm here because I wanted to hurry up since I started early this morning.
I'm glad I'm done Positron TF on that character. Next is Synapse, I guess.
  19. I got to start the day by reading a short section of a book that described ITIL and the benefits and the downsides to it...
At 8:00am, which I woke up at 6:30am to do (since I had to come to class). After going to bed at 1:00am, because I was doing a Positron TF last night (4hr45mins. Got from level 15 to 22, however, and the sweet, sweet merits).

So I'm tired. I'm drinking an energy drink to keep me awake. As long as I can last until 3:00pm it's all good. No club meeting tonight, and no more staying up that late when I have classes the next day.
  20. I am not lying that I beat Return to Ostagar, but Bioware pulled it off the Xbox live marketplace (hopefully it'll still say I bought it when they bring it back) since a title update with it locked my specialization slots again. Sigh... I'll need to savescum when they release the patch to fix their patch to get my specializations without playing through the game twice, if it'll let me that is.

    You won't regret Dragon Age.

I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition of Mass Effect 2 last night on Steam. w00t!
I preordered the Collectors Edition of Mass Effect 2 on Monday at EB Games. My PC will not be able to handle it.

On a related note, Return to Ostagar DLC for Dragon Age: Origins was short. If you were expecting a long, winding tale full of twists and turns, you'd be disappointed. It was short, and sweet. It ties up a couple of loose ends.
  22. *wanders in, it being 5:45am where he is*
I went to bed early, and I did not wake up earlier than expected (ie: 3am). About 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Such a joy. And I don't have class today!
A full day off, to do whatever. No studying to do (yet), and I did the Dragon Age DLC yesterday night, and will probably restart the game in Feb. before the expansion is out getting a similar ending to what I had before but with a different class this time...

    *stretches*
I think I'll maybe play Crackdown today, or mess around on my PC. It's a free day today or me.
