Don Fedor, I made this chocolate donut 'specially for you.

Don't worry. Layton is on the case!

Sorry for the lateness, but happy birfday Puppeh. I've been busy on my first day back to classes today.

*shuffles in like a zombie*
I was without internet for over 12 hours. I slept for some of it, but it was still a long process...
Well, it's back now. -
Does leaving while having an active subscription count? I left after about 2 weeks after I17 and returned at GR release. I did play a couple of hours every so often, but not as much as I have since GR came out.
If that counts, then tip missions. My Warshade I hardly played since she hit 50. With GR and tips/morality, my Warshade has gotten the dust all cleaned off and is actually played. As a villain now. As well, my Stalker who I hardly played is now a rogue, and is my 2nd most played character these days (not including my Praetorian, who hasn't been active really since she went to Paragon).
So, Tips are great for me. -
This actually sounds really interesting. I wouldn't mind getting into this.

Okay, my Rogue went to Atlas park to do some exploration badge hunting. One badge is inaccessable to Rogues, and that is Edge of Chaos. The elevator leading to the portal of Recluse's Victory is flagged for heroes only, and the Edge of Chaos badge needed for the accolade of Atlas Tour Guide is down that very elevator. The only way for my rogue to get it is to turn hero, then vigilante, then villain again and finally rogue. Unless the portal itself is not tuned to Hero/Vigilante only, then the elevator restriction is useless.

Frankly my deer, I don't give a lamb.

They can do the arc and get the badge, but they don't get an patron power pool.

I do like the syndicate change. My MMs pets died in like 2 hits from them. And if they decided to target me, I would have been dead quicker. My MM did leave Praetoria before the patch hit, but a group of +1s Syndicate were an issue. A group of any primal +1s are not that big of an issue. I'm talking about 3 minions, or 1 lt and 1 minion sized groups. Faceplanting from a group like that is not my idea of fun. Especially if it occurs more than 3 times in a mission. Syndicate were my anti-MM. Blastmasters were easy by comparision.

I'd change Independence Port blueside. It's very big, and a whole bunch of nothing. Most missions that you dread doing in IP are all the way on the northwest corner of the map, away from everything else. It's just a whole bunch of moving, and not enough playing. I did a patrol there on my Mastermind who moved to Paragon from Praetoria, and every patrol point was about .7 miles away. Heck, just moving it to North Independence Port and South Independence Port would make it much more bearable.
Redside I'd change Nerva. Perhaps Longbow could have made some strides and actually have started to push Arachnos back and made a bigger place of the area for themselves. I surely doubt that Agincourt is enough for Longbow, if they want to free the isles from the rule of Lord Recluse.
Other than that, I can't really think of any 1-20 content since Praetoria fits that mold nicely now. Perhaps a slight update to the buildings to make it actually look new, since Ultra Mode can only do so much. -
Not every bugfix gets posted. It could fix an exploit that was found since I18 was launched, and so if the fix was posted of what happened to get the exploit to work, then on live many people would use the exploit until it was fixed.
So, it's better to just have some undocumented fixes on test, which get documented on live after the bugfix is there. -
This goes moreso for Vigilantes/Rogues. Then all you need to do is go to the isles or paragon if an event happens that you want to do.

On the side of goons, I'm a goon and enjoy RPing. I don't actively try to ruin experiences for other people... the few bad apples tarnish the image of the entire group. Anyways I think the fursecution was circle of jerks or 4chan, not SA.
Now, back on topic...
It is good that we're reaching high server loads, however. It's a blessing in disguise. I don't think I've ever seen all servers above green ever since I began playing in April 2006. Usually there was like 1 or 2 at green during free xp weekends. This gets exposure of the game out there. Not to mention some people are using free trials. All this money going to Paragon Studios definately is not a bad thing. Sure, us players may have to suffer queues, but is that exactly bad? It's good to have more people playing the game. I really doubt the devs expected this sort of reaction to Going Rogue.
It's mostly positive. New people may join the game and start to RP. They may recommend it to their friends, and we'll continue on a upward slant of players. I just foresee a drop off of players in about a month after their free trials run out, but I think overall numbers will be higher than they have been the past few issues. Heck, I was basically off since Power Spectrum came out. Still subscribed. It was like a weekend every so often playing. Now I'm back, and have logged more since Monday than I have in the past 3 months. I've even played lots on my Warshade who I hardly touched since she hit 50. -
Desdemona is the cover girl of a Demonic Mastermind. She's also a hero. Demon Summoning/Dark Miasma MM. She redeemed herself. Her demons are loyal to her. They won't turn and attack innocent civilians unless she lets them.
-
No, my characters haven't visited Praetoria yet. I haven't made a praetorian yet on live. I'm wanting to get my WS and Stalker to switch sides. Well, my stalker will remain a rogue.
-
*infiltrates the Rookery by taking a side passage*
Well, we can all go rogue now. Or vigilante. Depends on your preferences.
*sets up the chefbots in a different way, and starts the timer for the coffeebots*
Bwahahaha. -
Better than a 209 queue that takes 3 hours to wait through.
-
*sets up the ship the bomb*
Oh, sorry. I was just rigging a cargo ship in Paragon City with C4 so it'd explode so the Circle could make the sun dark and then demons would attack the innocent on the street.
I love tip missions. -
(note: There is a Going Rouge badge in Imperial City)

Quote:And what about those heroes who are going to be moving to the Isles? They don't exist or anything? Remember, market merge. An Elec/Elec Dominator and Elec/Storm Controller. This will keep me distracted for about two weeks from the final nail being put in the coffin on New Villainside Content as players abandon the Isles in droves. Then despair will settle back in, and I'll likely unsub until issue 19.

Warshade will be redside. I'll start on that conversion tomorrow.
