It could be done. Not easily, but it could be.
"A" scene isn't the same as running around for the entire movie with everything hanging free.

    Driver question

Can you get us more info?

  8. Troubleshooting this is going to be difficult because you have one of those "hybrid" video solutions that is supposed to run off the Intel chipset until you do any gaming. It then kicks in with the nVidia chipset.

Unfortunately, CoH Helper can't see all that stuff.
I'd recommend seeing if you can get updated drivers for both your Intel chipset (both board and video) as well as the latest nVidia drivers.

This might help stabilize your performance.

    Windows 7

I bought this laptop to both replace my netbook and have a laptop that I could play CoH on. I run in Windowed mode rather than full screen because I like having access to Paragon Wiki for badges and whatnot. When i22 went live I made a Dark/Dark Dominator. Everything went fine until I added Stealth. Almost immediately I began having severe graphics problems. I never have Enabled Advanced Graphics settings, so I lowered the general slider from "Recommended" to "Performance". It did not help at all.

Today I stopped using Stealth and ran with no issues at all, even after raising the slider back to "Recommended". It appears that Stealth is either the source or the main contributor to the problems I was experiencing.

The problems include: ghosting, freezing, black screens, texture maps disappearing, and distorted NPCs.

The high collar does this in the "disguise" missions for Matt Habashy (the one where you become a Hellion/Hellion Girlfriend From Hell) and the reporter mission in the Sondra Costel arc.

    Missed the other thing.

    My condolences man.

First, you wouldn't be able to get it past the rating board as anything less than NC17 (see "kiss of death for a film"). Not on Disney's watch!

Even if you could, it'd probably be fairly difficult to find an actress of any quality willing to spend months of film time letting "the girls" hang free. For ANY amount of money.

They couldn't get Traci Lords to do it. Someone with a decidedly less sordid pedigree would be even less inclined.

Due diligence when insuring the project. They'd have to be.

Not sure. I also think that it destroys any alignment merits you have accumulated too.
  14. As others have said.

For users, lifetime subs can be a great thing.
You can basically play all you want. Whenever you want, till the game shuts down.

For the company? They're a pyrrhic bargain.
They can rack up lots of capital quick.
However, they can stymie an avenue for future revenue (ongoing subscription fees).

Also, retroactively offering lifetime subs can (and does) send the wrong message to the community. It's seen as a cash grab and a sign the devs have lost confidence in the game's ability to continue generating stable revenue.

Basically, if something like that happens here, it's probably a sign of the end.

  16. Your best bet would be to actually put this up in the Tanker forum.
In the meantime, WAY overslotted on most of your armors and way underslotted on your attacks.
  17. Also as someone who usually plays "the tank" (regardless of AT), it's a REALLY bad idea to have an extra locus of aggro generation out there that might wind up pulling enemies off me and onto squishier teammates.
  18. Happy "Wow! It's a lot bigger and COLDER out here isn't it?" day!

Toss a donation Dellian's way for the time.
    And I don't mean $20.
To get it up in the time frame you're asking, likely people would have to take time off work to do the programming and testing. They'd need compensation for their lost wages.

Otherwise, if you want it for free...

Note: Kheldarn, really ragging on you. Your post more or less gives me a springboard for the people who'd say something similar in a more self-entitled fashion.

Of course, it does beg the question: Why don't you just start up a free account,
PL some toons to the appropriate level and commence the beat-downs?

    Regards,
    4

Actually I'm simply looking for someone willing to (at least temporarily) join the SG and manufacture the prerequisite 250 kills. And if they're AFK farming...

Mainly because I find the prospect of standing in a PVP zone doing *Kill* *kill* *kill* *kill* and multiboxing like that about as much fun as volunteering to have my dangly bits deep fried while still attached.

I'd rather throw money at someone who's doing it anyhow and wouldn't mind the kill donations.
