  1. Okay, I'm part of a fire/rad team and I'm looking for suggestions.

    Things to note.
    The IOs aren't there yet. Currently SO'ed.
    The build will be level-locked at L35.

    I'm looking for suggestions to possibly improve this build. What you see here is just a tentative poke at min-maxing raw base stats.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. Okay just finished a relatively smooth TV Respec Trial (L30) tonight.

    We had one small "hiccup" with a complete mapserv that reset the final reactor mission (we all thought each of us had mapserved individually, thus boning the group).

    Otherwise the run went almost flawlessly. 4 Fire/Rads and we just cut them apart.



    And someone's going to call me on being 3 days and no sleep and STILL not going to bed after saying I would. Drugs haven't kicked in ye....

    Ugh, it's sad really. To use the internet we have to install multiple programs and disable features and stuff. And this is the future :\

    Okay, the payout on non-click-thru ads is disgustingly low. You'd have to be a traffic magnet something like Slashdot or Google to see appreciable cash out of them.

    I have no problem subsidizing sites that want to put these type of ads up, but frankly, the cost bandwidth I consume simply pulling in the ad outstrips how much the site will make off the page view.

    I do, however, REFUSE to subsidize sites that are (even by accident) serving up crapware infections like Wikia and the VidiotMaps site are serving. The one from VidiotMaps advertiser is exceptionally annoying because you have to go through about three popup confirmations before it'll let you close the page down.

    Using Win7 64bit Professional.
    Well, it's known that the game client leaks memory. With systems with lower memory, the game just eventually grinds to a halt which is a way of screaming "restart me!" On systems with lots and lots of memory, you start running into the upper limit for 32-bit apps. Technically each 32-bit app will be given up to 2GB of memory. However, once you start getting above 1.5GB, I've noticed a LOT of 32-bit apps become unstable.

    I've been having this issue with XP 64 for most of the time I've played.
    Essentially a couple hours of heavy play (with lots and lots of power effects going off) and I really need to re-log. Even /reloadgfx only puts it off temporarily. It's become a lot more prevalent since the advent of power customization though. A Rikti ship raid or a Rikti invasion and I re-log just to be safe.

    I'm hoping that they do some work on optimizing the game client for GR and Ultra Mode, or it's going to be a fargin' mess.

    The only problem I have with this is the confusion of EndMod with EndRed.

    What you're essentially proposing here is removing the need for EndMod (which is, essentially, endurance recovery) by massively buffing EndRed (endurance consumption reduction).

    First off, that'd have to be a HELL of a buff. It'd also probably wind up making at least the tier-1 attack effectively zero end like brawl.

    It'd probably also lead to more buzzsaw builds. Right now, the current EndRed limits on powers set limits on how fast and long you can attack before running out of End, even on builds with massive recovery.

    You'd probably see a glut of high-recharge builds as well too, as reduced endurance expenses would make this type of build EXTREMELY attractive.

    What we'd also probably see at the same time would be a huge nerf on endurance replenishment powers (like Transference), either in terms of recharge time or amount of endurance given.

    Well, technically, they're right.

    Probably a bit of both, but mostly the latter. They're still trying to relive the days of "We're going to have a business selling [INSERT HERE] ON THE INTERNET!" and having people just throw cash at them with minimal effort.
