Also, you're seeing a lot of AMD here.
Just so you can get an idea of what can be got on the Intel front.

Note, if you have the extra $40-50, I REALLY recommend getting the 1GB GTX460. Because of the way the architecture of the GTX 460 works, reducing memory means they need to turn off some of the ROPs, thus decreasing performance by more than simply total memory reduction on other cards would. -
Quote:Just wondering if anyone knows the /commands for the new emotes that come with the complete collection's item pack. I have tried to find them but my search foo is weak, and the emote drop down menu in game has their names but those do not work in the /commands.

Quote:If I come across a Resistance member who tells me "Go 'way! 'batin!", I'm done...I just wanna know why all the resistance sound like they came straight out of Idiocracy.
It does add a disturbing twist on the events in Praetoria, if these guys are all grizzled war vets fighting the power why on Earth do they sound like they should be mumbling "Brawndo has what plants crave" repeatedly?
Very scray. -
Quote:Please re-read the thread then. Actually read it this time. Note the plethora of issues besides just "I don't want to re-toggle" and "I don't want to move that slow."What point is there to miss? All I've heard are complaints about how it takes too long to retoggle and a bunch of whining about how it takes 15 second to turn everything back on just because you decided to drop one item off at the market. Seriously, patience is a virtue. Not hard at all to turn some stuff back on, especially if it means people with low end machines are saved from the massive graphic attacks of some people that find it necessary to be a level 50 and still have every toggle on because, as I said earlier, Hami is right around that corner to surprise attack you, I guess.
Edit: And the point about having to run at base speed being such a pain. Seriously? Seriously? Are we that spoiled on superspeed, ninja run, sprint, etc., that running at base speed about 15 feet is such a huge chore that it might as well be miles?
When you're actually read to take on this dialog, come on back. -
Transferred a few less-played toons off Protector and onto other servers.

Quote:No. Jolting Chain isn't auto-hit. It's using your Acc to jump to the next person to the limits of it's range. Including jumping back at people who it may have already hit.So I have been spending some time testing Jolting Chain and am fairly sure the chain aspect of the power is auto-hit.
However, the first time it misses an Acc check, the chain is done.
So, chuck LOTS of Acc at the power. -

Again, we'll accept a Level 1 Fire/Rad if that's all you have.
HOWEVER, it's usually more renumerative for people if they spend a little time solo and get themselves up to Level 10 so they can start doing Task Forces. -
Quote:Okay we meet on The Hill in Talos Island at 6PM Pacific, 7PM Mountain, 8PM Central, 9PM Eastern. Standard or Daylight Savings, the times are always the same.I got school at 7pm Pst. I can probably get in the first half hour with you guys. How long will you all be on? I can make it back by 10 at the latest. I can pull an all nighter after that.
Also are you guys going praet tonight? Who do I contact for invite. If you're on right now I'd like to chat. I might make right now and get some levels in so if I get back after class and people are on there will be less of a level disperity.
We play until we're done. Usually it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3 hours.
You can contact me.
I'll be on this evening as Vortex Core. -
Quote:OK, so I just got back last night from Vancouver (where I was sick as a dog for three weeks, unfortunately), and I'm jonesing to play some CoH (which I will do when I get done teaching my last class today).
So tell me (keeping in mind the thread), what's new that I can expect when I log in?
Disturbing Grandma is now the trainer in Neutropolis. -
Quote:Then your problem was only PERIPHERALLY the "flashy powers are annoying" thing. Your REAL problem was that the other player WAS A DICK.For anecdotal evidence, I'd like to point out that a Storm Controller swooshed into the WW, with Hurricane and Steamy Mists running. He stopped right in front of my character and conducted his business. No biggy, I sent him a tell asking him to turn them off. His response was to activate every single power at his disposal on me, including buffs and location based powers.

Then they just need to put a market interface terminal item on the list for items you can build into your base and be done with it.
Agreed.Quote:I agree with the suggestion up thread to add a "studio b" so those who want to shut everything off around them can have a place to do so without inconveniencing everyone else. -

- Check to make sure you haven't passed your "Playable until" date.
- Click on Change Password
- Alter the password to what you think it should be (type carefully to avoid fat-fingering it).
- Give it a little bit (5-10 minutes) for the change to propagate.
- Try logging into the game again.

Quote:Great way to present one side of an argument that cuts both ways. That argument cuts both ways. Don't force the annoyance (of aura-rocking shoppers) on everyone because of the annoyance of a few (people who think their toggles take too long to toggle).
On the flip side: Don't force the annoyance of resetting toggles on everyone because of the annoyance of a few (people who think that all the flashy FX (in a superhero game no less) are "annoying").
You'll notice what I did there right? The same, exact denigrating usage. -

When that big bad Tank Smasher gets that "I wanna rip his head off and poop in the crater" look on him, you don't want to have to try running him down in a tinfoil Hybrid.
-
And if you're doing yourself a little heavy marketing, making multiple trips into the auction house, start multiplying it. Unlike KR, the crafting and vendor locations aren't right next door.

Barring something screwy at work, Hyperstrike will be there kicking butt.
My assistant who runs by and takes names is, unfortunately away on a month's vacation.
