SS/Shield Brute: 29-30 in the last few seconds of DXPW!

The hardest part for the vils was the fact that they WERE villains. So I couldn't cross over to partake of the more copious teaming opportunities blue-side.

That and I missed out on a level or two when I noticed that my MM was set to just get double inf when exemped instead of still getting XP...

Also it was rough going because, though I knew about Bodyguard mode for MMs, I wasn't using it (I don't MM a whole lot, and thus it was occupying a back-tray someplace after respec).

And DEAR GOD was "Army of Me" a massive fuster-cluck for me! Took forever!

    Addendum:

Ran my Fire/Rads group tonight as well. First mish we had was my hero morality mish, "One Good Spider".
Dear flipping BOB it was carnage! We had people spouting head-glowies left and right!

Bah! Just generate the hyperlink for your build. Then stick it in TinyURL.
  3. If you can be patient, give Intel a month or two to get the new spins of Sandy Bridge out the door and the various OEMs to get their boards retooled.

Unless you absolutely HAVE to buy it now OR ELSE.

And, on the bright side, it's a little extra time to save up some additional capital (or wait for your income tax return).

I remember my first year at Fort Drum, NY (just north of Watertown).

Average morning temps of 30 degrees below (before windchill).

We got us this new post commander who'd spent most of his little career at Fort Hood, TX. So he had some stupid notion of "It's never too cold to do PT.

    Two words for that:

    MY !

At those temps, cold weather injuries are almost instantaneous, especially for someone dressed in PT gear.

This is why the post had a LARGE and well appointed fitness center.

He tried pulling an all-post PT session on us in the middle of February.

2 people showed up. The post commander and his aide to report that everyone else had gone to sick call that morning. Then aide then reported that he was going to sick call and left as well.

Needless to say, after a little sit-down with all the doctors involved in the MEDDAC, said commander revised his opinions. Especially after being informed about a situation involving a butter bar that took her company out into the field with inadequate cold weather gear and field heaters, resulting in more than half the company contracting cold weather injuries (and roughly 10% of those being severe enough to require surgical interventions).

Yeah, my parents originally moved to Vegas back in 2000. Right after they got there, there was a "cold snap". It was a whopping 65 degrees out.

All the long-time natives are running around in winter parkas. And here's my old man wandering around in shorts and a t-shirt.

Now they live in Florida and seem to be much happier there (Vegas is a nice place to live if you have the cash to support a social life of heading out to the casinos every couple nights, otherwise it palls really really fast).

Mothership raids and Hami raids are excellent ways to make shards fall from the sky.

Also doing the various TF/SF that give specific drops will save you from having to craft the components.

    Many thanks.
As TA said, you still get more powers. You just get them less frequently (plus the powers tend to be more potent), and you get a lot more slots to start fleshing out and filling in powers that may have, prior to this, gone underslotted.

Also for what it's worth I play pretty much entirely on Virtue.
    They do go on.

It's just that, due to the fact that the raid is all or nothing (no rewards at all if you fail), it's not as popular as other raids or TFs where, at least you have Inf, XP, Prestige and drops to show for it.

With the level 50 Invuln/SS tank I only had trouble with some Rikti War Zone missions as I was set to 6 people. The only time I ran into problems was with the Mentalists who, being psychic, were able to get through my defenses.

My level 29 WP/SS tank really tested out the new build in the Ray Cooling arc, specifically the last one. As I was taking on the Zeus Titan solo I noticed my health bar really didn't move at all. My endurance was another matter and I was sucking wind through out the entire fight.

I thought to myself that I'm doing so well, let's drop Tough and Weave to save some endurance. Then I noticed my health starting to go down. I quickly turned Tough and Weave back on and my health started to go back up to max.

So I really have to say that I am now a total convert of Tough and Weave. I'm still severely missing my beloved Air Superiority but will have to accept the loss.

Still can't figure out why my endurance sucks as I have both Quick Recovery and Stamina, each 3 slotted with end modification. I should not have been sucking wind that badly.

Actually yeah, you should. Honestly you have a lot of toggles running (and one with a crash). But your attacks on top of that contribute a buttload. This is why I tend to choose Energy Mastery for my tanks.

Then I can start mashing buttons to my heart's content.

Try getting your +End accolades if you haven't already. They help. A LOT.

Unfortunately, my hairline has become something more like a hair-U, with a fuzzy little umlaut above the U. Could be worse I guess. Could have gotten my great-uncle's hair (as in NONE).

    Or am I missing something?
On a 3 team raid, 5 people would get two credits, everyone would get one for the last.

On a 4 team every team would get 4 bombs with two remainders.

So it's always N-1 with N=the number of bomb assigned to the team who would get double credit.

So credit for the badge is slightly faster. What's more, no need to watch a timer to see when to start planting again.

  24. Okay first off.

    "Perma-granite?"

I take it you mean Granite with enough End-Red to not bleed your blue bar dry during regular combat?

Well, others have pointed out a few things to you already. So here's another point of reference, my Stone/Fire.

Nice, build. Not a SUPER damage-monster. But more than tough enough to AFK +2x8 mobs with little trouble.

    And S/L/E/N/F/C capped plus.
