No.
Basically divide the base recharge time by 5. That's literally the max you're going to be able to get recharge time down to. And even that is going to take heroic measures (armies of kins and rads). -
Quote:Explain the variations between Cockney accent and RP for me then. That's easy, it's slang for coloured marbles. Yarble being yellow, rarble being red, blarble being blue... you get the idea?
Next question please?
I need at least 37 pages, single-spaced, 80 characters per line, for your summary. -

Just kidding. I AM your new european overlords! Muahahahahah!
Welcome to the New World!
Please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. Anything that pops out may be groped, tasered, beaten, shot, and confiscated until the TSA can determine that it's safe (probably sometime shortly AFTER the heat death of the universe).

Quote:Honestly, were I the devs, I wouldn't have wanted to try it while the servers were spread all over the country/globe like they used to be. Quite frankly, the provider that housed the EU servers was...not great. The thing wasn't that it was destined happen but when, and this should have happened a long time ago.
Now that they're all essentially in the same room together,it DRASTICALLY simplifies implementation and maintenance. It's reduced to deduping and wringing coherence out of the data, not worrying that server connection A is hideously flaky and server connection B makes server connection A look like the Dalai Lama next to Chuck Manson. -
One other issue you may run into with some of these cards.
I shipped my old GTX260 to a friend. Unfortunately she can't use it for two reasons.
- The card is just Too Damn Long.
- Some Dell setups DELIBERATELY put PCI-E motherboards into cases that can't accomodate the PCI-E slot. Essentially the PCI-E slot is up in a location above the first expansion port on the back of the case. While the PCI-E slot WORKS, there's no way in hell to get a card in there.

- Bought Brand X memory
- Through some small 3rd party
- Over EBay
Again, the problem is the fly-by-night you bought from selling you crap, rather than your Toshiba "requiring" Kingston RAM.Quote:We will issue a refund after the memory is received. If you like to get the money faster, please got to HELP on eBay and click RESOLUTION CENTER and file a case requesting a refund. Ebay will address this faster since our account is not active and the refund will be issued with a few days.
Thank You
Here is my last email communication with the vendor:
Who am I speaking with now? I noticed the email name changed. Who is Omni Technologies and how do you relate to Upgradetronix?
I'm pretty angry with this deal. I don't understand why this memory won't work. Before I bought this memory, I specifically called and talked/asked your sales guy if this would work with my model and he said yes. What brand of memory is this specifically? I purchased a new laptop and this thing is flipping out with this memory. It reboots. I've lost data. I'm having a hard time dealing with Toshiba to get any resolution. I sent my laptop to them to get this resolved and they said it's the memory but I just can't believe this.
Toshiba recommends Kingston Memory. What kind of memory do you use? What could be causing this problem? This computer has been useless a month. I have to get to the bottom of this.
In January 2011, I purchased 2 KINGSTON KTT1066d3/4G 4GB DDR3 Laptop Memory Modules and the Laptop is problem free. -
Quote:Please try this against someone who hasn't got 30+ years of buying, building and servicing computers under their belt.Your information is incorrect. I will make these comments and then I'm not posting again.
Were you not "not posting again" I'd ask who was the third part you bought the memory from? And did you research it to make sure it was the proper type and timing for the machine?Quote:In December, I bought a new Toshiba Quad to experience ultramode and to be able to run Vmware. I required at the time an Intel chip that supports "VT." I bought third party memory and my computer flipped out. I contacted Toshiba. They asked me some questions then shipped a box UPS second day and I sent them the laptop back.
Simply because Toshiba private labels Kingston memory doesn't mean only Kingston memory works in the machine.Quote:After the tech looked at it(1 day), he sent the laptop back 2nd day (less than 5 days total)and emailed me. He said that the memory I had in the computer was unsupported by Toshiba and invalidates the warranty. I asked him what memory doesn't invalid the warranty. He said Toshiba private labels Kingston. I bought Kingston memory on ebay and have never had problems again. I have the tech's email if you want to verify my story.
If you took this way from the conversation with the technician, you either misunderstood or were being sold a bill of goods. Likely you bought the wrong type/speed of memory
If "only" Kingston memory worked, you wouldn't see pages specifically devoted to it on the sites of other memory wholesalers. Especially ones GUARANTEEING compatibility. -
Quote:But now I have to brush up on my German to go play on Zukunft. This is where we find that all the good names have already been taken on the US servers :P
So if you see some guy running around screaming "ACHTUNG DAMMIT! ACHTUNG! DO YOU SPRECHEN SIE GERMAN?", that's probably me. -
Tell that to people I know who've had issues getting support from Toshiba. Like people who bought the first-gen Satellite Pro series.
This is flat out wrong, and not true.Quote:Just an FYI, Tosiiba's require only Kingston memory you cannot use any other type.
Take the OP's linked laptop.
Crucial.com

There's a reason why Crucial says "GUARANTEED compatability."
And, likely, several other manufacturers produce parts work perfectly fine with the Toshiba too.
Yes and no. If he's gaming in Standard Mode, yeah, this'll run "okay".Quote:This is a good computer, the video doesn't make a huge difference in this game.
If he's looking to do Ultra Mode though, FUHGEDDABOUDIT.
The only real plus it has going for it is the "It's cheap" angle. -

What you really want is a combination of better details AND better performance.I'm not concerned with having super crazy nuts ultra mode. I would however like better graphics than I have now, which is running a six year old nividia 5200. I'd like better details overall but that's about it.
As such, people are recommending that you look at a different video card.
And, honestly, I'd recommend staying away from Dell/Alienware if you're looking for best bang for the buck for a gaming PC.
There are several other vendors out there that custom build PCs that'll give you more options.
Dell's XPS line is power user workstation stuff. While they acknowledge graphics as important (so you don't get built-in Intel stuff), they aren't really intended to give best results in gaming. -

Awesome advice and education, I have a lot of digesting to do :<)
Never tried the hovering, which all my tanks have by default, but seldom use. When you hover, my take is you float at a height just beyond melee range from Lord Recluse?
How far? Take a look.
You're going to want to get S/L and E/N (due to his channelgun attack) up that far. Or, alternatively, Melee and Ranged.Quote:I don't think keeping aggroe would be an issue for me, since all my Tanks are equipped with fully slotted Taunts with Perfect Zingers.
I see now, where my weakness are in most of my tanks with regards to LR, for I seldom defense cap beyond 50%. So that is something I must work on to get to 75%. If I get my melee positional to 75% would that work? How about S/L to 75% iis that sufficient? Or am I missing something?

Quote:How's the graphics card a problem when it surpasses ultra mode requirements?
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce 8 Series (or higher), ATI Radeon® HD 2000 Series (or higher)
This is actually several separate questions:
- Can the 5450 do Ultra Mode?
- Yes
- Can the 5450 do Ultra Mode at acceptable framerates?
- No
- What really constitues "ultra mode", since UM's settings span multiple sub-settings with varying levels of quality?
- THIS is the big sticking point.
If they want to run with all those UM settings (save ones known to sap performance and not really add anything to the VQ) cranked up and/or at very high resolutions (I play at 1920x1080 myself), it just will NOT cut it. - Can the 5450 do Ultra Mode?
