Quote:Okay, not even going to PRETEND like this is an uber (or even good) build.Hi guys, I finally trained my Frad up to level 43 from level 38 and to be honest I was taking powers and slots with no real build in mind because the one i had got lost (ok I keep my stuff next to where I play and wifey cleaned up and threw it all away).
I went back to check a build that was posted on the original Frad thread but I could not find it.
Can someone anyone threw up their build or a suggest build. This toon had plenty of rich suga mama's and daddi's so funds will not be an issues. I want to repec my toon out of the crap that I took over the last 6-7 levels and get on the path for a kick *** lvl 50.
Thanks
But this is Vortex Core.

Endurance Reduction
Hold
Damage
Accuracy
Neat secondary effects (the GravAnchor proc and the Lockdown procs)
I basically decided to forego damage enhancements in Char and Flashfire. Instead I opted for Hold and Stun as keeping them from attacking lets things like Hot Feet and Imps finish them off faster.
Fissure's slotting needs to be reworked. I need to remove the EndMod IO and drop in something for Accuracy as it's current accuracy sucks a pair of rularuu overseers.
While I admit that Smoke can be a great power, my build is primarily for pseudotanking for the group. I eat a purple, rush in like a moron, waggle my hand in front of my nose and drop a firey raspberry on the enemy then hope like hell my teammates get in there and heal me before I end up smootching linoleum. -
Quote:Is there any way to lock the mouse cursor to the monitor with CoH on it? I sometimes loose track of where the cursor is and end up clicking on the other monitor, taking me out of the game. In other games the mouse locks to the monitor the game is being played on and I don't have this problem, but I can't seem to find any option for that in CoH, is there anything I can do?
As far as I know, nope. You just have to be more careful about mousing.
I'm a dual-screener myself. And I understand your annoyance. -
Quote:Or you could point them at reference material and let them research it themselves rather than give vague, ominous warnings.I had to re-emphasize this.
If you don't know what UAC is and what it does, then chances are, you definitely need it. Even if you do, I'd still say you need it. But people disagree with me on that, and for a few good reasons.
The hassle of a few more clicks in NCSoft Launcher and other areas is worth it. -
Quote:If you don't know what UAC is, what it does and how it operates then I wouldn't recommend turning it off.
I'm going to try and replicate this issue on my Laptop (Don't run the Launcher on my desktop) to see if I can figure out what might be causing it.
I got this today and I have UAC turned off!
Not sure what's up with that. -
Quote:That's for Windows Vista.for the record, the procedure to disable this is described here? in the support section?
How do I disable User Account Control?
- Click on the Start button and then select the Control Panel.
- Type UAC in the search box with the magnifying glass.
- You will see a link labeled Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off. Click this link.
- Uncheck the box next to Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
- Click the OK button.
- When prompted, restart the computer.
On Windows 7, it's a slider bar.
So #4 for Windows 7 is "Slide the bar all the way down." -
*Puts on the theme from "Welcome Back Kotter"*

Paragonwiki: If you want to know about something in the game, it's here. Period. THE reference for the game.
Mid's Hero Designer: An absolutely ROCKIN' tool for planning out builds ahead of time. Play around as much as you want and never waste inf. The standard format for sharing builds on the boards.
Titan Sentinel: A nice little tool for tying into the Titan City Info Terminal project at http://cit.cohtitan.com. But the MUST HAVE feature of this program is that it allows you to actually export your LIVE build from the game into Mids. Even if you don't use CIT, this is more than enough reason to create an account and download this program.

Quote:If they're showing as spikes on the netgraph, it's most likely your internet connection. The other problem might be that you have a bad hard drive or controller (or need a driver upgrade).Ok, I just inherited a new system from my dad, it's less than 6 months old, he just upgraded to a Sandy Bridge.
This system was cleanly formatted, and Windows reinstalled, with the latest drivers for everything.
City of Heroes is the only game I am getting this problem in, basically from loading the game, I get these intermittent pauses, even from the login screen, through character selection/creation, and while playing. While playing, they appear as green spikes on the netgraph.
I've tried messing with lots of settings, but nothing seems to be fixing it, so I don't think it's anything in particular to do with graphics, as the pauses are happening with the login screen aswell.
EDIT:
Ugh ... I'll repost once I get new drivers for my video card >.<
If you can get us your CoH Helper and HijackThis logs that'd help. -

That's the link to the PlayNC page. It lists all the costume parts but not EXACT locations in the listing.
The bustiers show up as chest details. -
Sounds like a case of Constant Crisis Fatigue.
Symptoms are a lack of direction and imagination, and a crushingly dull imperative to revisit the past.
(Note: 1 million inf to the first person who can PM me the reference.)
Probably a good reason for me to simply lower or eliminate my comics consumption yet again. -

Quote:Yep, it'll play it.
If you have a "common" sized gaming monitor 22" + I'd get a much more powerful card for sure though.
It's paramount to balance your Power supply + CPU + Ram + Video card when considering gaming.
Good luck
Bah! 1.4KW PSU, i7 6-core processor, 24GB of RAM, and triple GTX 580? Who needs balance? -
Incorrect.
Again, incorrect. The 6770 released to OEMs in January of this years (2011).Quote:The 6770 is an older card, thus, probably why you're looking at it since it's probably dirt cheap. With that card, you can probably get some of the low end features of Ultra Mode running (depending on the heftiness of your CPU and RAM). -
Quote:With 3 ram sticks that equal 2gb each are you sure you're running in Dual Channel mode?
No. This is not a memory issue. This is a "Leagues = Lags" issue.
A good internet connection and a fast machine will ameliorate it SLIGHTLY. But the fact is the current client-server setup simply cannot handle league play properly, leading to degraded framerates and lag (especially egregious tray lag). -
Quote:Take it back to Gamestop then.I found no code on the Going Rogue case. I only found a CD, is there supposed to be a code? Because I bought the case at Gamestop, no game card.

There should be an NCSoft card in there with a code on it or it should be on the CD packaging someplace. -

Quote:Just send the e-mails to your global name. You can pick them up on any toon then.I have been trying to send an email with an attachment from one toon to another on the same server, both are heroes. However I keep getting an error that states "recipient name is too long." I can send a text to my other toons but nothing with attachments.
All of my email options have been enabled. I have tried with a space before the @ symbol, after the @ symbol, and with no space between @ symbol, name and handle.
Hope someone can tell me what error I'm making.
Thanks. -
Quote:I would tend to agree. It wouldn't seem to make sense to have Ten back so soon, relatively speaking. If I were in Moffat's shoes, I'd be saving that kind of thing for the big up-coming anniversary in 2013.
Maybe Tennant and Davison will appear in re-used footage on a monitor somewhere? Or in a recording? Perhaps a more extended version of how shots of previous regenerations were used in the Atraxi images. Could Moffat feels the need to tie some of the events with this child to previous history of the mythos in some way?
Well, we currently have 8 of the 11 Doctors alive and well, probably 5 or 6 of whom are probably able to carry off the role with a bit of prep time (Colin Baker would probably have to drop an extreme amount of weight, Tom Baker's rather obviously aged, unsure if we could get Eccleston or McGann back, etc).
Still the potential for an hour or three chock full of scene-chewing Doctor'y goodness would just put the Awe in Awesome. -

We have a LARGE gap between the end of episode 1 and episode 2. It could have have happened at any point in there.
