  1. Seriously.

I can't add more than four or five things to the market in rapid succession without triggering an indefinitely timed lockout?

Now, I like marketing and all, and I'm not asking the ability to speed-dump 50 slots every second. But JESUS H. CHRYSLER CORDOBA (with Rich Corinthian Leather seats)!!! I don't want to have to go "Place-Wait a full minute-Place-Wait a full minute-Place-..."

Isn't there ANYTHING the devs can do to improve performance on the damn thing BESIDES these "twiddle my frickin thumbs" timeouts for wanting to get in, drop, and get the hell out?

It was annoying on toons sporting 15-20 slots. It's aggravating as **** with 40-50. Trying to retrieve income on the Sold tab takes between 10 and 12 and then the market goes away for a couple minutes.

Again, I like using the market. What I HATE is having to play stupid little timing games to try insure and I don't get locked out of the damn thing.

This wasn't even a hacker. This was some ******* script kiddie, probably working a pre-assembled injection attack package.

That's probably why it was caught so quickly.

I figure if I have a toon which can solo AV's and GM's he should be the end all be all and I wouldn't want for anything ever again, right?

Is there any farmable content that would benefit exceptionally well by the ability to solo AV's and GM's?

I suppose I'd like to be able to fund myself with this toon and if possible help SGmates level if need be.
Once you can solo every AV and GM in the game SIMULTANEOUSLY, then come talk to me.

Seriously, a single GM or AV is doable by most characters nowadays.

What you want to see is if you can solo a GM who takes advantages of your toons WEAKNESES. Or one against whom your strengths are mitigated.
  4. Okay, honestly.

    SCREW PERMA DP.

You're going to be putting HASTEN on auto-exec. Not DP.
Sure, you could bind DP to a couple keys you use often (like left/right/forward/back/etc). This way you're always hitting it. But that's a fairly elaborate cheat just for something like Perma DP.

Honestly, in most cases, if your defenses and resists are high enough, you're gong to forget DP most of the time anyhow. Because you won't be using it.

Note: I tend towards brute-force builds and rely on those who're more subtle in their thinking to finesse a build out.

But take a look at something like THIS for a baseline.

Here, Sweeping Cross and Spring Attack actually become viable, regularly usable powers due to actually having their endurance costs reduced decently.

You still see decent performance out of Shin Breaker and Crushing Uppercut actually becomes a real attack as well, as opposed to the slot-mule you have it as..

You're capped to S/L with one enemy in range.
You're capped to E/N with three.
You're capped to F/C with four.

Once you hit Incarnates, work for a Spiritual Radial Paragon. The Spiritual Core Paragon gives a higher recharge boost, but the Radial gives NIIIICE boosts to some ancillary things that make QOL on your build nicer.

Whether you were just a really well-trained cop, or a sentient robot, or a human-plant hybrid, after unlocking Alpha you now gain a portion at least of your powers from a specific source and concept.

Do folks just ignore that and consider Incarnate progress as "new levels"?
Not necessarily "new levels". Just new aspects of their existing powers.
  9. Hyperstrike

    Fitness?

Basically Fitness was made Inherent in i19.

Now, at Level 2, you get Swift, Hurdle, Health and Stamina and can begin slotting them.

Now, on old characters you won't get the Inherent Fitness until you respec (and it won't let you choose the old Fitness powers afterwards).

Now remember, during Respec, you choose powers first, THEN you begin slotting. Because of the inherent nature of the new Fitness, you won't see it during the first half of the respec process anymore. You can begin slotting it out in the second half though.

Please don't get offended, but that means much less than you think.

The game had a major graphical upgrade a couple issues ago.

And while your basic settings may or may not have actually changed, the resources required by the game engine have increased. In addition, these new zones (and the reworked Atlas) have been tweaked to show these off to best effect. Even in low-settings situations. So they're going to consume more resources.

You may want to try updating your video drivers too.

    Right now you're on 275.33's

    Current version is 285.62.

    Try cranking down resolution.
  14. Okay you're playing at 1920x1200, 4x Aniso filtering and high world texture detail. on a card with 512MB of memory.

I'll bet Praetoria gives your card the fits too.

Put it this way, BEFORE you factor in filtering, and additional textures, 1920x1200 creates a single frame that is 2-1/4MB in size.

That's ONE FRAME. Essentially your video card can't support your current level of detail in newer zones like Atlas and First Ward at your current resolution.

    Yeahno.

Onscreen keyboards and the like absolutely SUCK for any kind of prolonged desktop productivity. You can spend two hours fighting with an onscreen interface or drop back to a keyboard and mouse and get it done in 15-20 minutes.

Okay, if you have 227% global recharge with Hasten on, you can drop down to 2 slots.

You'd need something in the neighborhood of 234% global recharge with Hasten on to be perma with one slot.

BUT, if you choose to go with a Spiritual for Alpha (ANY Spiritual), you're perfectly fine for and Hasten's recharge drops down to about 112 seconds with a single slot.
