I hope they do, it was one of the major deciding factors when I came back last year.

Sounds pretty cool, I would be good with just a way to use Energy Blast through some type of weapon though

Quote:Ahh yes drain pysche was my decision making power. Thanks for the inputIt's fine. I have both an elec/stone and elec/psi. Currently leveling the elec/psi. The elec/stone was the most fun I've had with a dom. Compared to the elec/stone, the /psi feels so lacking in the damage department. Of course, I don't have drain psyche or PSW which make psi fun.

So I must admit I can never stick to them. I just don't know why. So anyways I was wondering if Electric Control/Psionic Assault is a good combo. I felt with Conductive Aura and Pysche Drain it should be stamina/regeneration good. So has anyone tried this combo?

Not sure why you guys are fueling the flame. I retired this thread.
So don't expect any of my responses that you seem to crave.

Quote:A god with a gun? Right here baby!I was thinking about the Incarnate system, and found this idea intriguing.
How does a "normal" with a gun or a sword(replace "sword" with any melee weapon, "gun" is universal as it pertains to firearms)handle growing godlike powers?
A man using barehands and feet, or utilizing any element, I'd understand(for the bare-handed godlikes, see the Dragonball saga), but if you are simply a man(or woman)with a gun or sword(however technologically advanced), how would that work? -
I like combat jumping better for bonus defense.

Just watched the first 3 on demand, this show is great

Between the arguments before there were people with posts which I believe were helpful. Now I'm retiring this thread.

Quote:Had no idea it violated forum rules, its just easier to put out your responses that way.hey mike, you do know that you can respond to everyone i a giant post instead of doing it how you are doing which is in violation of the forum rules?
aside from that, it was rude of you to continue on a conversation when the person did not want to join your sg. and it is not acceptible to just hit anyone who is lv 1-10 with a tell just asking if they want to join an sg. i know an vg that did this and i think they have been put on everyones ignore list. it probably didn't help that they did it to the same people up to 3 times a day, but i think you should be able to get the point.
Anyways previously said I send one tell. One tell only. If that offends you think of it as a personal broadcast which is not real long and drawn out.
To the following:
Chaos Creator: Yeah you got beat to the punch no longer will I multi-post
LISAR: I don't want pity nor do I want your opinion at all really. You see our part of the conversation is just incoherent garbage, back and forth 'It is spam' 'It isn't'
Leif_Roar: Ok so "Need a SG?" makes you want to blacklist? THEN GO RIGHT AHEAD AND DO IT -
In my line of thought a broadcast is more intrusive then a tell. Think about it. Everyone is seeing the broadcast. The broadcast is longer which then takes up more of your chat bubble, and I assume that pisses people off. So really I see your moderate spam to be much more intrusive then my classic 3 word tells.

I always felt that little survey the real 'legit' SGs force on you to be tedious.

Quote:I understand the communities are knit together, that is why I join Liberty's popular channels. No, I don't think 'the server is dead' just the PvP, of course we all know why that's dead.I wouldn't be too concerned. I've seen similar attitudes expressed by other players over the years and they either learn to change the way they express themselves in the game or they end up like the occasional poster that claims "The servers are dead!" because their attitude has alienated them from everyone on whatever low pop server they make their home. They can't seem to understand just how close knit the player communities are especially on the low pop servers.

Quote:Mmhm. And it's not an extreme thing to do. In fact, it may be the NICEST thing to do for everyone involved. I'm looking for quality, and Hot Head Mike's looking for quantity. And that's fine. Mike and I don't have anything to offer each other, and we'll never have to have an uncomfortable conversation about it.
So if Hot Head Mike is on Virtue, I imagine he's on my ignore list. But not because I have any kind of opinion about him. Certain MMORPG realities were not new to me, long even before I came here a year and a half ago. None of this ever chaps my hide anymore. My ignore filter takes care of everything. It's a knee jerk reaction.
Since I'm on Liberty I will never run the treacherous "Hey Need a SG?" into you. So that's a good thing in my opinion so I don't end up assaulting your mental state by those 'extremely annoying words'
I am how ever glad that you restrain yourself from acting like a jerk to SG recruiters.
-
Lol so when did I offer them a useless product? Did these 'victims' of mine have to endure a live conversation with someone they don't like? No all you must do is glance and think to yourself for a second. And if you do not want in just let the message stay as is.

Quote:I do generally recruit when im hosting a team or something but I still don't see much wrong with giving levels 1-10 A fully functioning base, friendly players, and my personal help of course that's just me.For me, personally, I find it annoying, yes. I don't know you, so no, I'm not interested in joining your SG. That said, I'll typically just say "no thanks."
As for your tactics and reply above? You don't have to "know them personally," but there are better ways to recruit that will get you better people and a longer lasting SG. For instance, run some missions with them. See if they get along with your or not, then ask if they want to join the supergroup. That way, *they* should have an idea that it's not just some prestige farm they'll get kicked out of, and you'll know you're not getting someone you'll end up kicking a day later because they're getting on everyone else's nerves (or coming in to find they've cleared out your enhancements/salvage and sold it on the market.)
Alternately - even though it *can* be annoying, an occasional broadcast telling what your SG is, what they're interested in and that they're recruiting isn't that bad - I prefer it over getting blind SG invites, though I don't tend to reply to them.
And there's always the server boards down below. Mention you're starting an SG, what it's about, etc. and see who bites. -
