Quote:Seeing as Posi made a post stating that Statesman is in fact dead and they're currently in the works of removing him from various parts of the game...yeah...Yea you're right it wasn't exactly superman vs doomsday, so I assumed while it was playing out that the game hasn't seen the last of him, but if that's not the case his ending being that he was all the things you said was incredibly weak and lazy writing.
The soa's are ongoing so it wont be a surprise if he comes back, maybe he'll even have figured out by then the appropriate situations to use hand clap. -
Performance Shifter End, End/Acc, End/Rech, Proc
More movement speed, HP and recovery (helps counter the unuseful parts of the p.shifter parts). -

I agree with this all the way. I brought a nice chunk of wakies and quickly crafted a tier 3 barrier for double rez. But halfway through the trial I realized we were sleep walking it so I just switched back to rebirth. But then again it's not easy when it first came out! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE MAKER IT EASIER EASIER EASIER! I can't just attack and do whatever I want in it. Soooooo hard!

This thread nearly decimated my brain cells. What is this I don't even...

Not to pick nits. But....*pick pick pick* sappers, hamidon, Lord Recluse, IDF, Freakshow all have pretty harsh end drain.

Yup, honestly on most ATs that have pets you can't control I don't bother with them. The pets cause more issues than fix. A fully IO'd out dom/controller doesn't need pets at all.

My view on set IOs is that they allow a character to function solo a lot better. In a team basis if the team is balanced for all intents and purposes if everyone on the team is doing their job you should be fine. By balanced team I mean a healthy mix of buffs, debuffs and damage.

Eh, I personally don't take end crashing nukes especially on corrs that are incredibly busy like colds. On a kin I can see it since you have transference. But on a cold the recharge is so long on heatloss. I guess ageless is an option but I prefer rebirth or barrier. I find that between fireball, rain of fire, sleet and whatever your judgement is most likely pyronic you'll have enough aoe.

Quote:A wall crawl power doubled with super speed would make me happy in my pants.I heard that there was supposedly a Dev showing off an early version of a wall climbing travel power... I'm not sure if it's true, but that might be happening sometime soon in the future.
I think with Freedom & the Paragon Market on the horizon, the Devs will know that a new travel power would sell like hot cakes... we all know literally* everyone would be willing to pay several bucks for something like that.
And, you could say there's a 'vehicle' that's going to be in i21... the Hoverboard (as a temp power in the market)! Sure, not a car or batmobile, but it's still a vehicle (and, really, we could make a case for jet packs being vehicles if we wanted to be smart *****).
*On the internet, "literally" is a synonym of "figuratively" -
"So Musculature Radial Paragon will make my attacks hit harder, but I will also run faster, get more recovery from stamina, have my web grenade last longer, but gain no def debuff or toHit debuf effect since none of my NRG/Dev power have such a side effect.
Did I get that right?"
Correct, well it'll make you run faster under the assumption you aren't already at the hardcap speed, also under the assumption you are using a power to make you run faster. Since you have swift, that's a yes. It would also effect speed boost, siphon speed (if you're a kin), sprint and super speed. Also correct on the def debuff and tohit debuff.
"Now if I slot Diamagnetic in my Interface Slot for its -toHit effect, will that be enhanced by the tohit debuf enhancement from Musculature? I'm guessing no because the Interface slot cannot be enhanced with enhancements?"
The debuff is it's own separate entity, what I've heard is that supposedly that incarnate powers are supposed to effect each other. I can't confirm or deny that the alpha would effect diamagnetic. -
I had thought of an aoe combo, as for utterly indestructible he has tanked LR at the end of STF and Hamidon. I'll figure out somethin'.

1. Conceptually I'm most interested in Electric Melee. How does it fare?
AoE galore, kinda slows down when you're fighting a single target.
2. How about Dark Melee?
Destroys single targets and has a few nifty tools to work with (siphon life, dark consumption and soul drain)
3. What is the best primary in terms of burst damage? Primaries that excel in this are have always been the easiest for me to play in the Blaster/Corruptor territory, especially if there is considerable AoE damage involved.
AoE galore would be elec, fire has fire sword circle and has very good dps overall and good ol' spines. Additional aoe damage can always be added by taking a set with a damage aura or aoe attack (see shield charge)
4. What is the most efficient soloer?
Er, that one is kinda tricky. Depends? For AoE galore I'd say a Spines/fire or Spines/Elec would be solid. Elec/SD would be tougher since you have no heal and it doesn't catch on till late. -
Hmm, I've had a hard time rolling scrappers lately honestly. Once I rolled my DM/SD I pretty much hit a ceiling where I've yet to find anything that I enjoy more.

Happy birthday! Keep on makin' things purple and lupine!

Funny because I'm takin' my vacation roughly around that time of the year. Just get me a plane ticket and I'm in like flint.

Eh, if any of the game was actually challenging then sure why not. It's all easy in the end. The perk of a IO'd build on a incarnate trial where they are flinging epic attacks at you is to make you more survivable and it still does. As long as you don't play awful, it helps in every trial. My soft-capped scrapper survives better in the Keyes because I have to worry less about the mobs hitting me, I just fret about the damage pulse. Oh hey I have rebirth and greens in my inspiration tray. Just trek on through while popping a green at every damage pulse or rebirth if I notice some allies getting smacked around a bit.

I have a hard time putting a number to 'em so I'll just say I like scrappers, corrs, doms and veats. Most other stuff is kinda ho-hum to me. Brutes are very similar to scrappers so they're up there too.
