  1. I second the katana. More potential to it than spines. Although it's still up to you if you prefer crazy mad aoe or a very balanced set.
  2. Cherry-2000: giggles @ extended pleasure
  3. I have a Rad/MM/Ice that's sturdy as all get out as long as what I'm fighting deals mostly lethal and smashing damage. I'm pretty well over the soft cap. I sneakily slide into the middle of the mobs. Drain psyche then go nuts with all my aoe. It's something of beauty and if I feel like it I nuke and don't end crash. Win.
  4. Happy birthday mang! Here's to many more!

Welcome back. *Steals Cobalt's line* We left the light on for you.

  6. Well as person who mainly plays scrappers I do enjoy my plant/kin quite a bit. Not sure how a plant stormy would turn out. I rolled a earth controller for a while and got frustrated with it and deleted it after it stalled out around level 32ish. Haven't played a stormy to much so I couldn't help you on that part.

    Archery/?

Arch/TA would be fine if you don't mind playing a corr and making him heroic when GoRo comes out. If it has to be a blaster then I'd go with Arch/Devices. Would be very thematic.

  10. I softcap my S/L then stealth into a mob for max drain psyche area, build up+aim+drain psyche, then start spamming irradiate and psychic shockwave as fast as I can.

What he said. I had a BS/Reg that was pretty sick. I build his melee up to 30%. One parry and then to infinity and beyond! Or to soft cap, whichever is more accurate.

I like your slotting on Siphon Life, I may have to steal that on my build.

    Thanks
Well the main reason my build says it has lower regen is that I slotted for more HP. Technically your build will regen to max HP faster but the one I made will still regen more per second.
  13. A decent build but I made a few tiny changes without straying to far from your concept. This is how Horus be trippin' it.

Dropped conserve. You won't need it. You have dark consumption. Don't really need to run FA, it's mostly there as a set mule. Should be a very beefy SR. I also frankenslotted Siphon Life with how I run it but feel to switch back to the way you had it. Pretty much my favorite way to run it.

Edit: Gah, had to re-post, I mixed up something. Now it's correct. <_<

  15. Personally I'd avoid fly. IIRC your KB protection doesn't function when you're off the ground.

I put mine in Neutrino. Irradiate did seem like a good idea at first but then someone told me to go play it and think it over and see if it was still a good idea. I did so and after running several TFs with said character I came to a conclusion. For a blaster is the proc worthwhile in irradiate? No. My BU+Aim+Irradiate+PSW would massacre pretty much everything. Did I really need that proc firing off on minions and lieus that would be dying silly fast anyways? Instead I decided to put mine in Neutrino. When I was in a ST situation (I.E. an AV or GM) I could be more sure the proc would be firing off on the target I wanted as often as possible.
This is just my take on the situation. You may believe otherwise. Just tossing my 2 cent in. GL on the build.

See ya Shay. Have a good one. Hope to see you back.
  18. I find taunt pretty useful on my WP brute. I'll be laying out some baddies and getting annoyed at the few jerks who refuse to get in melee with me. So what do I do? I just whip out around and taunt 'em. Now they have to get in my RttC aura.
  19. To answer said question: Boxing tough.... ugh, now there is a waste. It's funny but I threw in that part about "Could go box/tough but I already" part in there cause I knew I'd get "Go boxing/ tough" Seriously when do people actually USE boxing? It's a completely wasted power. Even more than the ones I picked.

I use mine all the time...as a set mule. I know a few SS brute/tanks who use it in their attack chain but for the most part not many people do but it does make spiffy spot for melee or stun set. I've taken it quite a few times when trying to cap my S/L and then I can go and get tough and weave while I'm at it. So it's like a twofer deal for me.

*glances at build* Me likey! Hmm, my only slight issue with it is super speed. I'm so used to being at hard-capped running speed. The SG I'm in, one of our mottos is aggro is a race not a right, it's a race to every mob to see who gets to be tank. Me needy speedy.

Ah, but besides that, I took my blaster on an ITF, hoo-boy! I demolished stuff! Especially when we mass-herded the towers. It was pretty sick. Then I had a slight "whoops" moment. We were right in the middle of bashing Nictus Romulus for the third time when suddenly everyone got stunned and we were confused to what happened. Apparently I had been spamming so much aoe I had killed one of the nictus essences. Whoopsie. Heh.
  21. If you really want to stick with the orc-ish theme then I'd advise a Battle Axe or Mace/WP brute. Best thing I could think of and it'd fit the theme imo.
  22. Captain Midnight, while raiding the Oranbega stumbled upon old magic manuscripts that taught the art of how to manipulate elements and not just any element! The element of fire! Burn it to the ground! Fire Ball is your friend. <_<
  23. Whenever I hear the words spine I just think "Okay, grab a ton of procs for quills and maybe another damage aura if I'm taking fire/dark/elec and whatever aoes I can get...so I basically just hop in Spine Burst->Fire Ball->Hop out->Throw spines->Ripper the nearest strong baddie, most minions and lieus are dead by this point, hop to the next mobs and let my team mates finish off whatever isn't dead."
  24. BS and Kat would both work great with dark armor. Divine/Parry+high res+dark regeneration=Sturdy toon.
  25. Sonic/EM=More DPS and nice debuffs and helpfuls on AVs

Ice/Em=Safer solo due to the holds. Also best nuke in the game.
