Its nice to have range in Buck Shot (actually i don't even like this power) and Flame Thrower.
If you can, you might squeeze a Force Feedback:chance for rech in your AoE kb powers.
I would put a range or damage proc's in Caltrops
Since Beanbag and Tripmine are one slotted, why not drop them for something else. Aid self would be my vote

you could svae a chunk of change and just put Posi's in Full Auto and Devastation's in Slug. If you did, then i'd put the Kismet back in.. -
[ QUOTE ]
*armor*
I would like to see a low mag pbaoe earthquake toggle. and add minor smash dmg. (like a super mini liquefy)
I would also love to see a move that pulls mobs around u. ( like sucking people in) sorta like an anti- 'handclap'
[/ QUOTE ]
ooo..i've always wanted to see a power like that..like a reverse force bubble..or a Super Taunt..
on a separate note (thread jack), i'd love to see unique AT's where a person could trade 2 powers from their primary to get 1 power from a different primary (same AT/equal or lesser tier) i.e. a fire/fire tanker could trade to get icicles..
only one of these per account? the purpose being to have a "unique" toon. -
[ QUOTE ]
I still hate Ice Patch. A power that roots you in place for the (long) animation has no place in a Defense build, which can be potentially crippled at any time. I'd rather be up, moving, and able to hit Hoarfrost or an inspiration.
[/ QUOTE ]
you could always pull a mob to your ice patch :P..but yeah it does have a long animation..
It's nice to have 1-2 range enhancements in Frost, I think back in the day i ran (1)Acc,(2)Dam,(1)Rech, (2)Range. This was before IO's tho...
Positron's in frost looks pretty good, even at low lvl's

i guess you could just put the purple immob set in snare, or just drop Inky since you dont use it?

Inky is like a free toggle, it would be another form of mitigation..why not leave it on at all times?
but to your question, its true you could easily recover from the nuke...hmm, personally i wouldn't respec if thats your only change, but thats just cause im lazy :P
Whoops, i just noticed you have "6.25% global rech" 6 times in your build, which means the 6th won't count
-
yes, dwarf Mire is so sweet. 6 slot that baby
my planned build will have mire every 4.4 sec (assuming Hasten is activated)

I've never had high accuracy in FR, but is 0% accuracy viable? I mean, im sure you can get by with it, but am I the only one that puts a lil acc in FR?
I either do 5 posi (with proc) and a rech IO, or 2 lady grey (for easy HP) +plus what ever else to round out the recharge -

I never cared for Fire Breath, altho to be fair, its been about 3 yrs since i last used it. I didn't like the animation time or the damage output..
Rain of Fire and Ice Patch work well together.
I recommend a chunk of endurance reduction in Fireball and Rain of Fire.
Ice Patch doesnt need more then one slot.
Hard to go wrong with this build -
ooh nice, people are finally saying combustion sucks. I hate it hate it hate it. I'm glad to see more people saying so :P.
I hate it on my tank as well, altho a case can be made for it on a tank (nothing better to take and more agro generation)
/end rant -
i've never tried making a smash/lethal defense build...and after this, i don't think its worth the trouble..

you can get decent single target damage with Mesmerize + Dominate. You'll probably want to make a mid level investment in some set IO's
This is what i ran around this lvl

-sonic dispersion needs end reduction
-the Psychic Epic pool is nice for the sleep protection and psi resistance. If you want more damage go for Fireball. and a fyi Power Boost won't boost the dam resistance of your sheilds -

Strange how the market has made some really oddball recipes really rare.
Gaussians Rech/End Redx - a 100+ bidding for the level 50 recipe, 0 supply, no recipes any level (though presumably some are bought via standing bids), no crafted IOs at any level.
Efficacy Adapter End Mod/End Redx - this recipe doesn't scream out as being high powered, but surprisingly difficult to get at the right level.
Kinetic Combat Dmg/End/Rech - you can occasionally find them but they sure don't last very long.
Sting of the Manticore - Acc/Int/Range - yeah, a snipe recipe. But I think most people vendor these as opposed of listing them.
These are blue side; however, I know there's a few equivalents red side as well.

fixed
yeah, the EffAdapter is the only end mod set with End reduction. In the past this recipe was run up by a ebil marketer.. -

this brings back some painful memory's. my dark/elec slowed to a crawl around lvl 30 also. I remember Ball Lighting having very poor damage..
I ended up keeping mine cause i thought sparky would wreck everything in sight! It didn't, but at lvl 35 i couldn't turn back :P -

Another quick question for you guys. Last time I tried running Hot Feet on a team I started pulling aggro like crazy. I got fussed at by the team's Empath for taking too much damage and haven't really turned Hot Feet on while grouped since. It seemed very strange that I would be pulling aggro when doing such minor damage. I later discovered the team's Willpower tank didn't have Taunt. Is there a trick to using Hot Feet, should I blame the tank, or is there a mixture of problems?

its really not the damage so much, but the slow thats drawing the agro..the tank would need to be close to you utilizing Guantlet -
for defenders and trollers its 300%. so a Kin (with Fulcrum) slotting for damage bonus is pretty much a waste.
i guess the only way to do more damage is to debuff the damage resistance of the mobs some how. Like a Achilles Heel proc in a aoe or something.
fyi blaster's cap at 400% and brutes cap at 800%? -
sure. just slot a little end reduction and you should be fine..
then there's the other stuff..like keep Sprint turned off during combat, don't leave Healing Aura on auto etc etc..
