  1. ill start by talking about PB's

ive been on the receiving end of a therm/pb combo..and the PB stayed in nova form doing sick damage firing only the 2 single target attacks iirc (they were first in a casual 2v2 tourney approx 10 teams)

WS's dont have the 2 human heals nor Build-up...

If i were to try a WS, i'd plan on staying in Nova form at max range..build for recharge and make use of the PvP IO's for the global range increase's.. i.e. 3 of the hold pvp io's give 10% global range increase and 2 of the Target AoE pvp io's give 7.5% global range increase.

i havent tried this, but its where i'd start..
  2. looks a lil end heavy..made some changes..dont have time to elaborate atm

  3. i would drop Snowstorm or Vengeance in order to get Acrobatics. Snowstorm will prolly be detoggled alot without acrobatics.

Most minion-centric spawns will die in the first three-AoE salvo anyway, and those spawns that aren't dead by that point can usually wait an extra second or two for your powers to recharge.

  5. well as far as "fun" is concerned..I had tons of fun with Assault Rifle..It can be a sup-par set without a lil experience, but i loved lvl'ing my AR/EM.

I remember Buckshot being terrible.., but that was a long time ago..

I guess device's is ok in the fun department too.
  6. added my thoughts to your build

i think one kb io is good enough for you..especially if your using Hover, but if you want a second i'd swap the flight speed in Hover for a Karma..

  8. FR is great, but if your making a concept build just do what ya like.

I gimp my builds all the time for thematic purpose's or just to try something different like taking leadership on a tank or taking the presence pool etc etc..

There's plenty of goodness on a fire/storm to play with..
  9. holy end *****!

    hmm..this needs work..
  10. I don't think you'll be very impressed with Snow Storm...but i would take that epic pool for the sm/leth defense sheild. Just make a build to soft cap your sm/leth

after looking at Mid's..there's not alot of place's to pick up sm/leth defense..so sm/leth soft cap doesnt look possible..i would still choose artic mastery tho
  11. looks very end heavy..

i would remove 2 slots from health (since you have a healing aura) and add more end reduction to some powers.

i would switch the dam IO's in Crushing Field to end reduction IO's (enhancing CF's low base damage wont do much)

    sumthing like this..

2nd build looks ok...you really have too many attacks...i would drop something..

if it was me, i'd drop Air Superiority for hover (how often do you want to be in melee? and the KD of AS is nullified once you land one of your holds)

i'm not sure if singy really benifits from damage enhancements (worth checking)
  12. I think max hp is very important for Fire Armor.

An easy way to start on the max hp would be to slot 5 sets of Eradication ((for the 2.25% max hp) x5). Then grab as many 1.88's and 1.5's you can get...

Then with accolades you can get in the upper 1900's..

this build might be going a lil overboard on the hp..just depends what you want to focus on..

  14. 1) the few percentage doesn't matter..

    2) you're really gimping (imo) your end reduction and global rech in order to get sm/leth def AND melee def. I would go with one type or the other, not both..

sm/leth def will cover melee def (sometimes). example, if a dude with a sword walks up to you (and your sm/leth is softcapped) then it wont matter if your melee def is 41% or 0% because only the greater value is used..

granted if a dude attacks you with a fire melee attack (with no sm/leth component) then the sm/leth def is worthless and in that case melee def would be better, but the majority of attacks have a sm/lethal component..

the sm/leth def will also work with aoe and ranged attacks, so i would stick with it.

these are my understanding's, hope i explained it correctly

    3) I would remove the Acc IO's from Jab and Boxing (you prolly wont use them much, and even if you miss..its a puny attack :P)
  15. yeah, while we're making the game even more easy...we should also have a button that automatically lvl's us to 50..
  16. think you should put a 5th slot in DP, Invinc, and Weave for the extra rech.

sry, no data chunk, haven't gotten used to new forums yet.

You might take a peek at the cost of the Reactive Armor res/end too..

  17. I'm forgainst it.

srlsy tho, I haven't picked it up yet. With all this negatively towards Handclap it makes me want it even more!

hmm..maybe put some proc's in it..does it take taunt or kb io's? must investigate...
  18. oo oo! I wanna nit pick too!

For the Frost early level slotting..I prefer Rech over Dam enhancements..

    so for the first 4 slots i went (1)Acc, (2)Rech, (1)Range..

    for the 5th and 6th slot i'd do (2)Dam or (1)Dam + (1)Range..

    just a preference :P
  19. think ill only take 3 of the rad blasts and leave the tier one on auto (firing every other attack)..

what you think about my Neutrino Bolt slotting? I've never been a fan of Deci:chance for BU...but it seems doable in this power..

I even thought of using chance for end drain or chance for heal for 1v1's

    ice/cold..

is it possible to slow someone's recharge so much, that they go back in time?

    Rad Blast ftw...

super fast animation Rad Blast! sounds fun
  22. I would just focus on your Max HP first

    you can drop Acrobatics

keeping your power picks, here's an example of what i'd work towards..

    Blapper build

my vote is Sonic/Elec or Sonic/EM..

Sonic makes your hard hitting blaps hit even harder! :P...plus the AoE Sleep is handy
  24. I haven't played a Mental Manip very high, so its hard for me to make a decision on a few powers (like Drain Psyche), but I would prolly do something like this.

What are you guys/gals referring to when you say stealth IO's I don't see any standard stealth IO's listed, blue side anyway, so are they from a IO set or a unique? Just curious as I've gotten my rifle/dev up to 42 now and have 3 sockets open in my cloaking suit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Leaping has one and Running has one (Unbound Leap and Celerity)

my understanding is you just need 2 stealths...doesnt matter if its a IO, Cloaking Device, Stealth, Grant Invis, or SS (pve only)....

or you could have one stealth + a -perception power like smoke gernade...so you should be able to approch a smoke bombed mob with SS only and not be seen..
(only problem with that is whether or not Smoke Bomb is auto hit and what the maximum affected is..)

Having Cloaking Device + SS is a common way to go..

As far as power picks go, you could take any of those..i personally wouldn't take any of the stuns..you have better tools to take out bosses (damage for starters)
