You're missing the same thing everyone else is missing: a costume option for male bare legs. It doesn't exist.

Yep, unless my crazy and yet to be confirmed, theory that the sandals are the bare leg option.

Now I have a question, will we ever see these mythical Ritki Hover Tanks in game?
  12. [ QUOTE ]
As several have noted, I7 features content mostly for City of Villains (levels 41 to 50, in fact). This is exactly what we did for CoH. City of Heroes will receive a cool graphics upgrade, new base items (Empowerment stations!) and access to Recluses’ Victory. It’s true that CoV received more attention, but that’s mainly because we needed to fill out the levels. I had the option of releasing I7 or waiting until we could fill out the City of Heroes content. Obviously, I chose the former. New content should get out there when it’s ready. We'll be focusing equally as much as possible on each product moving into the future...

For those who have speculated that Newspaper missions are coming to City of Heroes, they aren’t…yet. That’s coming a little later in the year. I’d like to add something different to the CoH system…

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks States. Think you could se your way to giving us a hint as to what these Empowerment stations are? My current theory is that they're trainers you can have in you base.

    Hi folks,

Thank you for your patience. I am in the process of finishing the revised draft of the Galaxy City story. For the record, each piece does go through an approval process, but mistakes do happen. Obviously, I will work harder to double check my facts before posting - but I know you guys will keep me honest.

For your information, these are the key changes/corrections:

    * Kelly Graham did get her powers in the 1950s.

    * She did not, however, work for Crey. That was an error and the plaque by her statue will be fixed.

    * M-1 was a World War II hero, not a World War I hero. It's not a retcon, it's a typo in the Tank badge. It will be fixed. He's named after the rifle (most likely).

    * Cassiopeia - all her facts are still true, but she just gets a cameo in this write-up. I'm sure she'll be spotlighted down the road.

    * Paragon Heights had neighborhoods named after the stars. Galaxy Girl took her name from being inspired by the neighborhood ... which then gets renamed after her. I like the balance that creates.

    * This isn't in the story, per se, but comments such as "mutation" are more than likely correct.

    * She had a sidekick, named Dauntless. He died heroically, saving her.

    * She retired in the 60s, after Dauntless's death.

    * An old woman during the time of the Rikti invasion, Kelly Graham still did her part. She was likely good friends with Miss Liberty, and knew Ms. Liberty well - having acted as a mentor.

    * She dies so that Ms. Liberty (and others) can escape.

Anyone see anything that I missed?

    cheers,
    Arctic Sun

    As my post says above...

We had pirate, went to her at 9, she refused to talk to us. Went back at 10, completed Phil arc and nothing. She restared us on that arc, had to re-do like 3 of the missions and voila we get the File's souvineer.

Now she won't talk to us at all for the other arc.

What's the deal? Maybe you need the second badge for the first arc and the first badge for the second arc?

    [/ QUOTE ]

It might be a bug. Bug it. But otherwise, from personal experience, I know you only need Pirate.
  18. Shadow Director opened the door to Tarot's room. As one enters the room their eyes are drawn to a tall Tower sitting on a tall cliff, with a path leading from the tower to the door. To the left of the door is jagged rock 200' stright down, on the right is the same except that there is firey lava instead of jagged rock. The sky is in peramenant thunder and lighting storm with lighting sticking the path and tower. As one lookes at the tower they see a lone figure walking the top of the battlements leaning on a staff.

He didn't seem intimadated, he had seen it before. Shadow director walked up to see Tarot. He paused and suddenly something grabbed him under his arms and lifted him up. Something invisable. Though someone observent would notice two other shadows grabbing his own. He set down and looked at Tarot. "We got a new batch today, but you probably already know. I guess the Grand Spider thinks this is acctualy a worthwhile ventrue."
  19. Elan tapped Maihem on the shoulder, "Hey, startch pants, if anyone fights the 'God Father.'" She imitated the voice from the movie, "It's going to be the Vital Twins. Capiche." She said for the effect and then brazenly shoved him out of the way and looked at Drake. Her hand hovering over her pouch. She glanced at the soldiers, they hadn't been ordered to shot her. "Oh for...hey! Startch in the pants, call off the tin soldiers." She said happily, she was sarting to have some real fun, and Maihem was just making that impossible with him taking the whole situation seriosly.
  20. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, I didn't realize. If I know you were hard of hearing I would have spoken louder." She chuckled, "Lets see here, there was, Oh my Gods. Are you hearing this? Capiche? And then I think I said, are you serious, should I repeat Amos' lines or would you rather he did." She wasn't taking it seriously, she rarely did, and if it was going to turn into a fight, all the more fun.
  21. Elan stopped arguing with her brother to laugh. "Oh my Gods! Are you listening to this? capiche? You've got to be kidding me" She while laughing. She had never, ever heard someone say capiche and acctualy mean it. It was absolutely ridculous.
  22. (OOC: Shadow Director aka Mr. Rose: A trained actor Arachnos drafted him to teach english to the students (seeing as it appears to be the offical langauge of the Rogue Isle ). His power is to control shadows psychicly and give shadows depth and substance till they are practicly real, even his clothes are made of shadows. No one has ever seen his real face, it's always covered with shadow. He takes his class seriously and while he's never killed a student, he likes to make it clear that your there to pay attention and has a special trick to make sure students do. (He wears formal clothes and a top hat all of which including his skin is picth black giving him the appearance of a three dimensional shadow.))
  23. From within the helicopter came two loud voices. Elan Vital was out first and walked towards her new school with a slightly taller boy walking beside her. They were yelling at each other. "You're just jealous I got Dad's Muvian Genes!" She yelled. She was definitely shorter than the norm, but not by much. She wore a black headband in her long red hair. Her shirt was tight and black and she wore faded jeans. She had a purple belt on, her favorite color, and had a large pouch hang on it. She also wore two different earrings; a simple silver stud in the right and in the left was a simple small silver chain holding a silver tear drop with something inscribed on it. She claimed it was an ancient symbol for protection.

"Bull! You started this out of the fact that I got Mom's brains!" Amos yelled back at her. He was also a bit short, for a boy, but not by much. His pitch black hair was gelled up in spikes, a striking contrast from skin so pale it seemed that he must moon tan. He wore a red high-collared jacket with golden detail on the sleeve, along with black jeans.

Elan narrowed her eyes, "Too bad you didn't inherit her common sense with it!"

"And it's too bad you didn't get any of Dad's talent, otherwise we wouldn't be in this dump!" Amos bellowed, shaking with rage.

She grinned, "So you admit that your machines are crap if they couldn't keep us out here!" Elan loved twisting Amos' words and had gotten pretty good at it.

Her sibling's pale face reddened as he stuttered, "My machines are just far more expensive than your useless parlor tricks! Robbing gas stations doesn't exactly cut it anymore!"

Elan rolled her eyes, "Oh sure, blame it on money. Do you remember when we tried to rob that bank?"

Amos recovered nicely, "Oh yes, the one you supposedly scryed and was so sure was clear of Heroes?"

"Hey! I did scry the whole block! I just didn't count on that dumpster diving alley cat Mynx being outside of my range." Elan defended.

"Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night sis." Amos said with a grin.

Elan's fists balled, "Don't worry sis. I can handle the kitten, how tough can she be?" She said imitating Amos' voice.

"I almost had her; I just didn't expect my force field to run out so quickly!" Amos retorted angrily. "Anyway, I know I broke one or two of her ribs with my staff!"

"Oh please!" Elan smirked. "She practically cut your hand off and gutted you like a fish!"

"You didn't fare any better, sister!" Amos yelled, shaking his fist in front of her face. "You couldn't even get through the vault door!"

"Yeah! Well at least I made it that far!" She screamed back at him and glaring.

"Only because I was being gutted!" Amos raged. "My god, you're a [censored]! Maybe we'd be able to pull something off if you had an IQ higher than road kill!"

"My fault! If you weren't so blinded by your love for Nemesis maybe your God damn machines would actually work! You little momma's boy!" She seemed ready to explode.

"Shut up!" he screamed right back, his face going from pasty white to beet red. "Nemesis is the most brilliant man in the world, and I'm going to perfect his technology some day! And my machines do work, better than your magic!"

"Brilliant? He's a raving lunatic! The man doesn't even believe in computers!" She screamed back at her brother. "And if his record is anything to go by the longer you stick with his technology the longer we'll be beaten! Great ideal you got there!"

Amos had to try very hard to stop himself from throttling his sister. "Nemesis has come closer to taking over the world than anyone short of the Rikti! And he's been around since before the Civil War, and active most of the time! Nobody's caught him yet, just decoys! I'd like to see you stand up against him for more than a millisecond!"

"Never been caught and never actually won a fight! He's lost no end of times! What's his track record? 20 loses, and one time ruling America for a day? He wasn't even the ruler of the world! It's pitiful! And yet you'd follow him around like a slobbering dog if you could!" Elan knew exactly how to annoy here brother the most. This was no where near the first of their screaming matches.

"At least I don't believe anything a demon tells me!" The irony of this statement was lost on Amos, but it made Elan to angry to make a point out of it.

"Vele is not a demon! He's a conscientious objector!" Elan screamed back.

"Wow, that's a big word for you, sis!" Amos retorted. "Do you even know what that means, or are you just repeating something he called himself?"

Elan exploded, "I know damn well what it means! And Vele just wants to help me! He's a better mentor than your Prussian Prince! At least he talks to me!"

Amos grabbed Elan by the shoulders and began to shake her. "Demons-do-not-want-to-help-people, you idiot!"

She pushed his hands off of her very dramatically, "I'd be worried if he was a demon! And what makes you think Nemesis is all gunho about helping people huh?"

Amos laughed without mirth. "Since when did we want to help people, sis? Nemesis wants exactly what I want: power, and he has the means to get it! He's fought the Statesman, you know! I bet nobody else could say that got away from him! Not Tyrant, not Reichsman, damn, he can even punch down a Rikti battleship, but he can't take down Nemesis, and not for lack of trying! What the hell can your stupid little nature spirit do, grow trees?"

She growled, "Remembered when I used that magic taught to me by that "stupid little nature spirit" when I had tree root bury you up to your neck!"

He scoffed back at her. "I could have stopped you if I'd wanted to! Magic is nothing compared to technology, you just aren't smart enough to see that!"

"Sure you could have." She said with a grin, "Which is why you stayed out there until Dad came out looking for you and dug you out."

"Yeah, and then I strapped a bomb to the damn tree and blew it sky high!" Amos growled. "Anyway, I don't see that stupid thing's magic helping us now! All you seem to be able to do with it is annoy me!"

"And all of your "Modern" thinking and "Modern" technology did bupkiss in keeping us from going to the Zig!" She retorted, "And you know damn well my powers is what kept Mom and Dad from finding us! They'd have hauled us away to the Zig right away if Daddy could scry our position. And I might add, my magic allowed us to hide the entrance to our hideout. What would have happened without me to help hide you? You'd probably be in a Military academy before you managed to get any power at all. Might do you some good, getting some sun on you pasty!"

"Are you kidding me?! The sun is dangerous!" Amos gasped. "Anyway, if it wasn't for my trigger finger and force fields, we'd both have been killed by those idiotic gangsters while we were still looking for a place to hide!"

"Is it my fault Dad never wanted to teach me offensive spells? I had to learn it through that musty Grimore he kept about! And I'm better now! And remember how well your first steam gun after we ran away turned out? If Vele hadn't taught me how to summon a Tree of Life you'd have died from blood lose!" She stuck her tongue out.

"I still can't believe he never let you learn the things he knew, you were always such a freaking daddy's girl!" he smirked.

"Daddy always tried to teach me, he just always wanted to teach me the boring stuff. The best thing he taught me was how to fly and I had to beg him for months before he finally caved it." She shook her head, "He kept saying it was because he loved me so much and how I wasn't ready yet. I was ready from the day I was born!"

"Hah! Mother taught me all she knew about... everything!" Amos said with a sneer. "I guess she realized I wouldn't run around showing off and getting myself hurt like some people!"

"And then you tried to make a clockwork horse like Nemesis and-" Elan was cut off.

"I thought we agreed never to speak of that again!" Amos yelled attracting even more attention to the pair. "Anyway, it wasn't nearly as much of a disaster as that time you tried to give yourself wings the day we turned nine!"

"Oh shut it, that didn't go badly!" Elan quipped.

Amos already had a remark prepared. "Oh sure, at first then you jumped off the roof. Remember how Dad use to call you his little Icarus after that?"

"That was a sign of endearment!" Elan screamed.

"Oh sure, it's great to be loved." Amos answered as he fought to keep a straight face. "I'm just glad Mother never called me any pet names!"

    *Meanwhile in Brickstown*

Two Heroes approched the wreckage of the Zigursky Prison. "I always said we should have spanked them." Said the one in a suit of power armor built to accommodate a woman.

"Yes dear." Said a man wearing a complex looking interlocking set of vestments.

"And you always said they'd turn out alright." She said as the approached a Police Officer.

"Yes dear. Excuse me sir, we came as soon as we heard. We came to check and see if any of our Rogue Gallery escaped." The man explained.

"Maharishi! Martinet! Certainly, I don't think so, I could check the list if you like." The Police Officer said somewhat overawed by the two veteran heroes.

"Well, we really want to check on two, Elan and Amos Vital." The woman explained.

"The Vital twins? They're part of your Rouge Gallery? Uh...well, yes, they got out." Maharishi suddenly found something much more interesting than his wife's gaze.

Hey Venture, read some DC comics. If you can make any sense of them, nevermind, you can't. That's why they keep coming up with more Crisis storylines. Seems people make mistakes. Maybe revisions is a better word for comics, but whatever. Happens.

I read comics until, um, just before Zero Hour. I've only peeked at them since.

Professional work should be...wait for it...professional. Inconsistencies like this aren't supposed to happen, and when they do it is fair to criticise them.

It's especialy fair after the fault has sufficantly been pointed out and the red name say that a change is coming.
