We have Ventrilo set up, and I'd be happy to pass along the log in info to anyone that wants to visit one evening or whatever.

it's defnitely amusing and entertaining though, ain't it? lol -
wow...
All I can say is that seeing that character from that view, I'd hate to be caught by her. -
hey yup, whenever a map can't load the object it's looking for it'll load the first npc object that's on the object list, which used to be the 5th column mek man, now it's the 5th column version of Burkholder.

Bappy Hirthday Xert!
*buys an alarm clock so it'll remind him of his birthday next year, assuming he doesn't forget to set the alarm* :P -
I can see that now regarding the price, but I was new to the comic book convention sketch and commission world at the time. I didn't know anyone who had gotten commissions before, nor had I been exposed to it in any way shape or form. The SDCC was my first experience in asking about them, and it seemed fairly logically to ask and trust who I was asking, as they, gee I don't know, professional and established comic book pencillers/artists. I didn't have an idea what commissions went for, so naturally I asked about prices, to several artists. I kept getting the $100-$150 range. So.... I figured if I've already asked around 10+ and kept getting the same ballpark it prolly was well enough to assume that was what I was going to have to expect.

sweet work Juggy! -
moar artz!!!
umm i mean... i can deal with that -
my thoughts exactly LadyJ. The added thought is if These two were this freakin amazing, it's got me curious about what he has in store for Heri... in color, especially since he wanted to save it for last, yet the quality of these are already at the "wow, just wow" category.

I think my imagination created the photo reference thsi was drawn from but yeah I second that.... reference!

I know who I'd want to contact to get stuff, I jsut don't have the free money to get what I'd want from the appropriate people. In the two years I went to San Diego, in 05 and 06, I inquired about commissions and such and they all were willing for the msot part, but most of them went with the standard $150 or so.
So I tend to just suffice on the free or nearly free sketches I can knab at local conventions and free comic book days. For the moment my free cash is going into CoH art, because I wanna see my chars comic-zied. Maggie I can see that anytime, Heri and co I can't.
We'll see if my Maggie collection grows or not, the Image foudners are in town for FCBD this year, but they're all pretty high profile so we'll see.
Thanks for the encouragement. If nothing else I'm thankful for what I have. I got a sketch of Maggie by the first person who pencilled her into comic book existence, so I'm happy. -

I needed to add something else to today's updates for an additional rendition to lighten everyone's jaw dropping experiences ( :P )

Lighten? lol I dunno about the rest of the forums, but my jaw drop got heavier. As soon as I managed to recover from your drawing of Kai, man thats fantastic, even without the added detail, my jaw dropped right back down about for LadyJudgements. -
lol yup we be crazies.. ain't that a requirement to play this game and post on these forums?
I've already had this happen.. and I don't even have a huge collection of art thats too visible. I posted in the Guardian forums of the piece and in the title I put "by Foo" done at the end linked it to his posting on his DA site and someone still asked if I could draw so and so vs so and so.
I think it's something in the water, and I blame Wasp. -
the three pieces do look when nice put together.
Did you know ahead of time that you were going to put them in group like that when you were doing the three individually? -
that's pretty well done
-
whoa color me impressed i thought the jump from 9 to 10 was holy cow, the finished deal is sweet!
kinda hesitant about metal huh? Guess it's a good thing I didn't ask for a metal wearing character on any of my requests. lol -
oo nice works! cool to see a defender shown healign and defending
-
i saw that while checking my DA page and saw it in the lsit of DA watches, thats a sweet pose!
