    Corrupt Thoughts
Whoo, more imbalance that seems to look good, and probably the 1st entry that has a skin tone that is from the pallet. I'm looking at it right now and simply can't find a fault in the design. Everything in this costume seems to fit together. I have to say, well done.

    Venomous Val
Spikes and stuff galore. In the sense that all the entries up until now have been quite traditional, this is a huge departure, and I like it. My only problems with this one is that chest emblem, which probably would've been better left off, and also the lack of a belt, which makes the transition between the top and bottom a little sudden, but that's no big deal. Overall, I really like this design as well.

Wootah! You actually noticed the three rules I was trying to stick with while designing this one ^_^

Rule 1: Use a skin tone matching the pallet.
Rule 2: Don't use costume pieces from the same set, or if you do, keep them separated.
Rule 3: No hard transitions, despite rule 2.

Yay, worked in my favor ^_^ And I like corrupt thoughts, but I am more of an art fiend with my main characters, so PM away! Heheh, and yay! I didn't lose points for even thinking up KAAH-PLAAAAAH! >_>

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm, were those two last rules stated somewhere?

    Erme
PUT ON SOME PAN-Er, sorry. I'd say that the costume needs a bit more balance in its color distribution; maybe make those stiltellos green instead of red? Still, a pretty good and unique design... That needs pants.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Didn't make the stilettos green as I was trying to recreate the look of a succubus as close as possible given this screenshot: Succubus screenshot from pwiki So changing her shoes just to balance the colors wouldn't seem right. Adding pants to her look probably would balance it better though, and wouldn't take too much from the character as she picked up the robe top, wouldn't be too far fetched if she picked up a bottom as well. I just didn't choose that initially to show more of her succubus look.
  2. Tried to go away from the usual "poison" motif, since I prolly couldn't make anything better than what has been posted so far, that and I saw the reds and thought.... demon... and the greens screamed CoT.. so I fused them:

    Erme - Mind/Sonic Controller

(Note: couldn't add the demon tail seen on the Succubus mobs as the Robed Tops didn't have tails available under belt. Everything else is close as I could get it)

Little is known about Erme. She was discovered on a Longbow investigation into a suspected Circle of Thorns Oranbegan temple. The Longbow party found the temple full of unconscious Circle of Thorns cult members, save one person: Erme.

She was found huddled on a summon altar, the rest of Circle in the room crumple don the floor. As the Longbow party entered the room, Erme sat up a bit but did not attack as they entered. She seemed confused as they explored the room. Once of the Longbow Guardians noticed one of the fallen Circle robeless. Longbow assumes Erme took it and wore it however they've found it difficult to communicate with her. The Sergeant in command of the group attempted communication, asking her who she was and what happened.

The only response she gave was "Erme" accompanied by a high shrilled voice, which was high enough to knock out half the Longbow party. She repeated it one more time, pointing to one of the fallen Circle members, until only the Sergeant and one Guardians was left conscious, for they quickly placed earplugs into their ears. The two waited until Erme said nothing further, then called for backup. A few heroes from MAGI and the Midnight Squad were both dispatched to the location, where they were able to safely transport Erme to a Midnight Squad safehouse.
The Midnight Squad has yet to discover much more about her. They theorize that she was a Succubus summoned by the Circle, but oddly isn't as aggressive as the typical Succubi. She only seems to respond intentionally aggresive if she senses danger to herself, as some Longbow soldiers entering her room in the Midnight Squad attacked her assumed she'd harm them.
Her true name unknown, they've stuck to calling her "Erme." The Midnight Squad researchers studying her assume it may have something to do with Ermeeth, the Circle of Thorns god, as Erme keeps saying the word any time she sees something Circle of Thorns related that she recognizes.
  3. I'll likely get something from ya in the future, I've done a recent run of commission work that has cleared out my commission requesting for a bit. Once some extra funds trickle down again I'll send a note to ya on dA.
  4. damn, good differing textures, good angles, good details, the usual random lights that appear on the buildings in the game, etc, good everything man.
  5. [ QUOTE ]
heh, cool idea, never thought of getting a fanart of a fan of a char.

    [/ QUOTE ]

agreed, will be a very unique commission in your and anyone's collection. Awesome idea ya came up there, WP

    Krar & Carrera

hit the request perfectly, romantic but not the usual romantic novel cover. The heads on either side is a nice touch and the teddy bear makes the piece.
  7. always awesome drawings, no matter what style ya do!

  11. Oh, heh, no, no confusion. I did see the scrapper part so I knew he was good intentioned. It kinda brings out more to the character in a way that he's given something powerful, everlasting life, but in turn a consequence that he'll have to live with.

The reason I brought up Scirocco is because he was once and still is in a way a hero, he was a Freedom Fighter that stumbled across a sword of a long dead hero, and some other powerful objects. It granted him incredible power but in turn place a curse on him that forces him to do evil acts. Even though he serves as one of Recluse's Inner Circle he still wishes to find a way to break the curse a redeem himself for all the acts he's committed.
And that's where I saw the similarity between him and Heriloom. Both of them affected deeply by an object they wear.

Whoa. That looks fantastic! Is it easy to use? Can it do fur? you should try fur. *nods*

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, you want to try and create fur *does Jedi mind trick hand wave*
  13. heh, whatever caused you to draw that look, you turned it into a pretty funny work. kudos!
  14. I like that backstory and idea. Reminiscent a bit of Scirocco and his past, of a good hero turned evil due to the curse of the mantle he wears.
  15. [ QUOTE ]
    Well, I am 90% evil.

Prove it by shaving your head bald and raising a pinkie to your mouth.
  16. never cease to impress, man. totally good work.
  17. whoa.... that's awesomesauce right there. print that sucker and toss it in a pile of comics and at first glance you'd never know it wasn't a comic
  18. dang, that's a sweet collection.

definitely have to keep those artists in mind

This is Scirocco's, or is it Ghost Widow's, Mako's or Scorp's statue base. I know which it is, but I'll never tell, see if you can guess. This picture, like all of the rest, is in 1280x768 resolution. If you would like to use it for your own select screen, you will of course need to trim it to your own screen resolution (removing 128 pixels from each side, for example, if you are using a 4x3 aspect ratio) and then deform it to 1024x768 (if necessary). The splasher only accepts 1024x768 images, but if you squash the image, the splasher will stretch it back out to fit your screen resolution.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hehe it's fun to guess this one, although if one has been in Grandville enough, familiar with the patron shields, or have the badges for the villain AVs from Recluse's Victory, it's pretty easy to guess which platform that is.

Nice job on all of the screens of angling the screen jsut right and removing the existing statues.

    [/ QUOTE ]

D'oh! I should have customized the logo on the front of the platform...

    Hmmm.....

    *scribble scribble*

    [/ QUOTE ]

yup, or replace it with an Arachnos logo, or just remove the logo completely.
  20. nice rich colors. The blue on the Zeus/Hercules Class Titan is nearly like real thing.
  21. Gratz Kilo!

I agree, it looks good regardless if it's in the usual Timm style, it's got its own little coolness to it.
  22. nice blend between in game characters and conversion to drawn ones. The background wall look similar to the round room that Faathim the Kind is normally found in
  23. wow, nice profile-ish commission. The figurine has me interested, snap some pics of it if ya can when ya get it
  24. Gratz Warpatriot! awesome quick and generous gift art to add there LJ
