Continuing from Rfactor's thread - I will be forming MoSTF attempts on weekends (either Friday or Saturday night) starting at 11-11:30pm eastern/8-8:30pm pacific.

What is the MoSTF? It is a badge for completing the Statesman Task Force with the restrictions of No Deaths & No Temp Powers allowed (which also includes Vet Reward Powers).

The Team: I am not a stickler for having the optimal team. That said, I do believe we need a good mix to be successful. But I will still give it a try even if the team has absolutely no chance at the MoSTF (like with that 4 blasters & 1 ws team a couple weeks ago).

I will mainly be running this on my Tank (Mr E-Man) to start, but if someone else would like to tank, I can switch to my blaster or scrapper.

First Attempt:

Chatty Chuck, a person who is just waiting for i12, is spending their time gabbing on their favorite few global channels, and while super-speeding to Atlas to hold a killer costume contest, accidentally kills a few Malta in PI with a nuke by hitting the wrong button while typing during auto-run. His average comes out to 10k an hour.

So Hell, when we were running the RSF last week, Jamie (Dark Ambriel) remembered asking you the burning question (a long time ago):

Well E, that is a long story that I will try to shorten up. I got into this game because of my son, he saw it on G4 (when according to him it was a good show) and he knew I would like it.

At around the same time there was a Comic Convention in town ( Philly) and we talked to States himself who was pushing the game there. They had a version of the game there to try so we did and he was right I really liked it.

Anyway we purchased the game and after he set up his toon it was my turn and while playing about with the maker I had to come up with a name. Well I am (or was) a serious player of Halo and in fact was reading the novels at the same time. As those who know… know Master Chief was part of the military called the Hell Jumpers because well they would Jump into the Hell of battle much like today we house helicopters.

So the old light bulb came one and the name Hell Jumper came to mine. Ok so that’s the name portion, then went I was building my toon I was such a noob I made all kinds of mistake ( you know picking an archetype that nobody back then wanted ( Stoner),4 slotting brawl, putting one of each enhancement in each power, NOT taking stamina ( did take the toon to 50 with out it ) and making a costume out of electricity when my build was kind of a fire mode ) but I always felt that a hero should fly… you know Superman. and so right now all but 2 of my toons have fly. My Fire/fire Tank has SJ and I just respected my Ice/Kin Corr to SS from fly an now I run into everything not moving and sometimes even those

So anyway that’s the short version... the thing is my son MY OWN SON laughs at me to this day... when I am playing and he comes home ( he will graduate from Full Sail University with a degree in Game design in June. . Im thinking if he works for NCSoft he I will one day find my builds with all purples and 2 billion in cash... but that’s for another day) he will shout out “Hey dad how’s that flying Jumper doing” must be poor parenting.

Anyway I missed Jamie asking me the question or I would have said you’re not the first… and he won’t be the last…

Heh - well then, I was mistaken...I had thought (and told her) that you were originally a jumper, but you respec'd into fly when we first did the Ruladek the Strong TF (way back when) and decided to keep it that way.

Went with Stone?Eng for my Brute, Stone because I am very familiar with it with my Tank on COH and energy because I wanted something that would let me kill fast.

Thanks Frost. Hell Ice is my first ranged toon and I took it because of you and all the battles you made easier with Ice slick. anyway I have some work to do to fix him up. Now if i can only do a successful COV respect I can fix him right up. on the Plus side at lvl 18 hes not that badly gimped.

Enough Said!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the Stone/Mace set because I wanted to be the "THING" with a cool weapon. This was my first game of this type and just went alone with what i felt was right, did not really know what I was doing. Anyway have him all the way up to lvl 38 with Stone, Mineral and Granite. I did not take stamina ( big mistake which I will fix on respec) and with GA on contantly run out of end if i do any kind of hitting so I am forced to brawl and provoke unless i have a defender with RA. Anyway I have teleport and do teleport around while rooted. I know that you can run around abit slowly with GA on and rooted but i hear they are gona take this away. What I would like to see is change rooted to end recovery like most have said we dont need more health with Earhs Embrace i have almost 2400 HP thats plenty but with my end running low esp if i use hasten to get my attacks off or at least bring provoke up faster i use end like water. Anyway with all these problems I still love my tank and will take him to 50 cus I think stone tanks ROCK!!!!!

PS if anyone wants to team with me i would be happy to do so either SK or RSK. look for me HELL JUMPER on FREEDOM
