And what the hell do you expect? *EVERY* time he says something, people treat it as if Jesus Christ himself suddendly descended from heaven and start treating it as gospel

What Statesman needs to realize is that, to a lot of us, for this game he IS Jesus Christ.
  2. Anyone know if there's a specific /command to turn OFF supergroup mode? I know there's one that toggles it, but what I'd like is one that always puts me in my default colors, for a costume change macro.

You are a 100% correct. We need to find a way to communicate the story better to the players (not just the mission holder).

Statesman, have you, or anyone on the dev team, ever played Freelancer?
One of the nice things about that game was that you had a journal, and prectially every mission your character did was logged into the journal, which you could go back and read at your liesure, whenever the mood struck you.
It seems like this would be simple enough to implement in this game, after all youall ready have a summary of the mission and its outcome, all youd need to do is find some way to link it to a character upon completion.

P.S.: I just remembered a mission that would be a GREAT candidate for refurbishing- about a week ago, I was offered a mission regarding Nemesis setting "nano-assemblers" loose in an office building, and how I had to stop them before they deconstructed the entire building. I was really psyched to do this mission because of the description, in fact I almost took it even though it was a timed mission that requred 3 others to complete- then I realized, it just meant we'd be clicking on 4 of the tech lab disco lights at the same time, instead of some actual, dynamic Nano-Assembler. A huge boost to the mission would have been if the nano-assemblers were some sort of unique mob (heck, they could just be Jaegers with a new paint job) that had to all be defeated in a few seconds of each other, or they'd self-rez. Now THAT would have been a memorable mission.

An unenhanced teleport is about 300' and, at level 50, a superjump is under half that.

Wrong. my lvl 31 blaster jumps 220 YARDS- that's 660 feet. It's not uncommon for her to leave SJ on when street hunting, and use it to get away quick when things go wrong.

There's any number of legitimate reasons someone could be outside the range of XP. As one person said, I don't mind those who are shopping, or slow getting to the scene getting a trickle of XP from those of us who are fighting, because I know that there will be times when I am that slowpoke, so it all evens out.
That's an argument based on the assumption that we're all HEROES, doing a heroic job. It's unfair, and somewhat rude to assume that all of us who do so are attempting to put one over on the system.
Like I, and many of the other have said before, this isnt going to even show up on most PLs radar, while it going to hose a whole lot of everyday players. This crusade needs to stop before it kills the game. The harder you make it for the average player to progress, the more people you're going to either drive to PL, or just drive from the game.
  5. Hey, how about a whopping SEVEN undocumented bosses, in one solo mission?
Just got done with the last mission in the "Scroll of Tilekku" story arc, and thats what I ran into:
    Spell Breaker Hanazuth (Agony Mage)
    Blade King Caesar (Warrior Boss)
    Guardian Spirit of Pain
    Guardian Spirit of Sorrow
    Guardian Spirit of Desire
    Guardian Spirit of Death
    Guardian Totem (+1 lvl).

Okay, Yeah this was the end of an Arc, so It's not like they were completely unexpected or anything, but that's not really the point. It's more a point of Statesman saying one thing, and reality being a different matter. There was not word one about bosses in this mission, not even the typical "expect some trouble on this one" or "You might want some help"
And yeah, IF I had stealth, I probably could have ignored those bosses, but I don't, so I had to fight them. Does that mean that Stealth is now a required pool for those who want to solo?
For the record, The spirits weren't that tough, and I ate 4 lucks for the mage, so he wasn't too bad, but the totem and the warrior boss both had me going through my insps like candy- the totem and I literally came down to whoever's attack recharged faster, we were both on our last pixel of life.
  6. From a person who mostly solos, thank you. I couldn't have said things any better.

    Villain Emotes

A bunch of good ones, I definitely like the "brush off" idea, and the cigarette smoking.
    Also as others have mentioned:
1- My villain needs to be able to WALK- if all is going according to plan, then I should be in no hurry.
2- New standing "animations" for Fly and Hover, a la Magneto or M.Bison.

One I havent seen mentioned is the finger wave, like the in T2: hand lightly closed with just the pointer finger extended upwards, slowly waggle back and forth as if to say "uh-uh, bad hero"
