  1. I'll try the new method when the next drivers come out..if I experience any probs, I'll go back to the old way. Thanks for the heads up, Neb!
  2. *picks at the candlewax on the sleeves*

TPBM uses a black sharpie to apply eyeliner, so it will last longer
  3. Just had a grilled cheese samwich and a glass of icy cold Wyler's sugar-free raspberry drink. Yummerz.
  4. The latest DirectX is out, and you can update it before or after, your choice. Here is the latest.
    DirectX (June)
  5. Here you go, Kinrad.

    1. Get the lastest driver and download it to your desktop.

    2. Uninstall your old driver. You should be prompted to restart your puter...when you do, start in Safe Mode.

3.When you open in safe mode, close any prompts to install the Windows drivers. Use a product like Driver Sweeper to remove all traces of your old driver..bits and bobs left over could cause conflicts. (I use Driver Cleaner Pro that I paid for a long time ago. Driver Sweeper is free, and is very good.)

4.Restart you puter as usual. Again, close any prompts to install Windows drivers. Install the new driver you left on your desktop. Reboot. Done.

All that's left is to adjust your settings in the control panel to your liking, and any others you wish to make.
  6. Here are the only changes I'd do, and it will hardly effect how beautiful the game looks..should stop the hiccups and improve framrate.

  10. Amerikatt looks good no matter what kisser she shows! (the other avatar was her 'secksie' one...this is her 'aw-ain't-I-adorable' one)

TPBM is thinking of buying a 'just-because' gift for someone they love.

  13. This one is my all time favorite that I am using now..it's wireless, and uses AA batteries. (The one before had a docking station, and this is the upgrade from that.) I got it on sale, and have been SO happy with all the features, the 'feel' and comfort of it.

  14. That would help the brainer -than-I-am techies on here to possibly pinpoint problems, so you should. You might try this too:

    1. Go to your CoH folder, find the coh.checksum file and delete it. Close Explorer.

    2. Go to desktop and click on your CoH icon. Let the files rebuild themselves. Close shortcut when it's done.

    3. Defrag.

    4. Click on the CoH shortcut again, and verify files. When it finishes, start your game.
  15. Try the simple fix first.

If your problem is a corrupted file, this should take care of it. Good luck, and let us know if it worked.
  16. You have a lot of stuff that runs in the background taking up valuable resources. These are programs that you can use when you need them, and don't need to 'on' all the time.
I'd turn off the ones here that I have highlighted for you.

There were a couple I didn't recognize, and you may need them. If not, I'd shut them down too.
  17. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEhaw!!!!!! Good on ya', Early!!!!! It's a good thing you have many smartz!

  18. YAYYYYY!!!!! Now you can have the right kind of 'face-offs' lol.
  19. GASSSSSP!!!!!!!!!! *turns off cam* no, er no...no, I don't

    TPBM has hairy toes
  20. Looks like a corrupted pigg file, perhaps. Try this...delete the coh.checksum file from your CoH folder. Then click your desktop icon to start the game, and let it rebuild itself. Then, close the icon and do a defrag. Now run the game and see if your faces are back. Good luck!
  21. I think in the 'change log' and descriptions they improved the 3D graphics. I noticed the same things as you did, Luminara. If it can do that on my 'putersaurus, it must be even more noticable on a newer rig. I am a happy camper.
  22. LOL!!! That is Lady Freem

    Weeny Roast!

Why is it a guy can remember all the stats from a certain baseball game that happened years ago-including players names-and forget your anniversary?

(to be fair, someone should start a 'hen roast' thread so guys can air their annoyances)
  24. only my legs and armpits
