A lot has changed with Ultra mode in the game. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your card. Put as much memory in your puter as possible. (Check to see if your memory, not your card is going bad.) Do your contacts show up if you start the game in safe mode?

It looks like your card might be overheating. (A while back, my card did that because it was slowly dying.) Try turning off the geometry buffers in the game and see if that helps. You might also try updating your video drivers..the new one just came out, and it might help.

How about glitter duct tape?

After reading this last night, I went to test...got in just fine. The testing for Halloween Event was still going on.

I have the latest vidiotmaps, and have no probs whatsoever. I tend to agree with the other posters....you might want to try an experiment: remove vm all together, and run your game. I have a sneaky feeling that you will still experience the DCs and crashes. Then, do a fresh reinstall of the latest vm and try the suggestions here to solve your problems. (I have an older HP Pavillion putersaurus, WinXP/Service Pack3, agp Nvidia 7900GS video card.) Good luck, and don't give up...you will fix it if you hang in there!

I downloaded them and am VERY happy. The biggest thing I noticed was the speed increase in the internet and CoH...the clarity and color have always been nice. (I have a putersaurus so I imagine newer computers might even get a better boost.)
