I ran a character last night in the First Ward arc. The binds/toggles kept dropping, and I had to keep typing them back in. Also, the speech bubble was a wierd lavender color..it was originally whit/black type. This is the first toon I have ever had the bind-drop problem with that severe.

Perhaps you could make a boatload of macros for common things like yes, no, etc.
You also might want to do something like Dillo does, using a bind...
/bind ; "*translate. Convert and send through telepathy*...$$startchat"
or
/bind enter "*sending mental translation*...$$show chat$$startchat"
Keep the macros in a seperate tray above insps (use the 4X3) so they can be clicked quickly. Just something to think bout. -
Yes, servers are down. If you go to the main site, it was announced they would be down for about 8 hours.
"Live Server Upgrade - Friday, September 23, 2011 The Live European and North American City of Heroes servers will be taken offline for further hardware upgrades on Friday, September 23, 2011. Start Time: 3:30 a.m. PDT / 6:30 a.m. EDT / 11:30 a.m. BST / 12:30 CEST" -
I absolutely got immersed in the FW story arc...some of it was so sad, and other parts made me actually laugh out loud. As far as creepy, I think the gorgons rank right up there.

*have to say this.......LOL*
Is that how you got your wife, Tony????? -
Seems the option to turn them off/on would solve the prob for everyone. I'd turn them off, but then I am not a new player.

Arda, the only things I can think of is first try the 'repair' function then do a defrag. (Is you ingame resolution set the same as your desktop?)
-
Try some simple stuff first. Click on the 'repair' function from the CoH dropdown arrow before entering the game. Also, try deleting all temp files and defrag. Hope that helps!

Not a big deal, bit I noticed this in FW. The magical wards with the hanging water pots shows the liquid sticking out on one side, outside the container.
-
Mine appears to be fixed at this point. What I also noticed, was the map options were all unticked and I had ro reset them. (I tick everything but 'names'.) They are all staying now.
-
I use the /reloadgfx command if I have been playing for a long time or I experience lag (which isn't often, eve thought i have a putersaurus.) It has always worked greatly.

I am a 7 year vet, and before Freedom I had every aura available for use. Now it appears I need to purchase a bunch. Is that wai, or a bug?
-
For me, it was like this:
-
On April 28th, 2004, I bought City of Heroes. (It hit the shelves.) I was amazed then, and still am to this day. Seeing the game evolve and improve, making wondeful friends and sometimes laughing till my stomach hurt has been a wonderful experience for me. I still have yet to see/do it all.
I raise my glass in a toast to the game creators, techs and fellow players who have made this such a great 7 years...here's to 7+ more. -
Atech support person told me to log into master account and change the GAME password to the SAME one you have been using. This worked for me when nothing else did. Hope it helps.
-
Yah, that happened to me, too, I exited the game, ran 'repair' and was able to get back in.
-
I use /reloadgfx and I notice it 'twitches' now, and didn't before.
-
I had a problem with getting into the forums, too, Tech support suggested changing the game password to the SAME one I always used. This worked for me. Peerhaps that might do it for you. I sure hope you find a fix, Hang in and don't give up.

"The account name or password that you have entered is incorrect"
Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. Exited game, ran the 'repair' from the launcher dropdown and logged back in with no problem. Hope this helps someone else!
