Why are collapse/swoon emotes only available to level 50 toons? Is this WAI? Why aren't they buyable in the market like others? I'd sure love to see that happen, and would like to know if anyone else feels the same.

I created a macro called ROFL, and added the 'tantrum' emote ate the end. It's really funny, and people love it.

I have used it successfully for a long time now and it has helped keep my old putersaurus running well. I have also heard good things about the free Driver Sweeper, but never tried it. Either way, removing all tracess of the old driver is the way to go, as leving bits behind could be causing conflicts.

Sometimes, if I make a typo I say "I need a new keyboard...this one can't spell."

Try this first...set opacity the way you want it. Pull down 'options' from menu and click 'apply' then click 'save to file ' on far right. This helped stop my toggles from dropping when I'd zone.

I noticed that when I pull up the options on the map, some of the items I have always highlighted were unticked. (I ticke everything but 'names'.) This problem is not on every toon, but quite a few. It is annoying to have to keep resetting.

"I could care less." This makes no sense. Should read as, "I couldn't care less."

The word "data" is pronounced DAY-tuh, from the latin derivative, plural, datum.

Those are just a few examples. I don't correct people when I hear these things, but I do enjoy listening to and conversing with people who have command of the language. (I use slang and shorcuts myself, so I don't consider myself a true word Nazi.)

Did you try turning Geometry buffers off then back on? Sometimes that helps. Possibly and overheat problem, also.

Just for the heck of it, run the repair function from the pulldown in the launcher, then defrag. See if it helps.

I created a female bodybuilder tank named Amy Biguous, using the male character. Her bio stated that she was always bigger and stronger than kids her age, and was teased throughout her life. She joined the Army and while stationed in Cuba, developed a love of cigars. (I used the cigar and beast breath so it looked like smoke LOL) While she started as a joke, I became so fond of her that I reworked her as a female. I reworked the bio, and this is the new Amy:


I made another 'female' male toon a while back that was hilarious, named Private School Girl. She was tall, lanky, and wore a uniform. Her hero costume was pink and white. I got so much attention, I finally retired her. It's amazing what you can do with the sliders, if you are creative.

Bad, did you try using the repair function from the drop-down in the Launcher? How long since you defragged?

Are your Geometry Buffers turned on? (In Options.) Try turning them off then on and see what happens. Hope it helps.

This happened to me not long ago. I turned off Geometry Buffers (in Options) then turned them back on. It solved my problem.

Silver, it's a known bug that the devs are working on.

I was advised by a tech assistant (by phone) to go to Master account and change the GAME login password to the SAME one I have been using. This fixed it for me, and have not had a prob since. Other things to try..Do a temp file delete, run the defrag. (I always do this right after a patch/maintainance before entering the game and don't have problems. My puter is very old but is hanging in there well.)

Oh Samuel, I agree with you so much! One of the things I like is being able to pick a costume piece I will use, rather than get a bunch with it that I won't. There are a lot of small and wonderful changes that take a back seat to the members' hot topics. Inner Inspiation, Null the Gull and /auctionhouse are just a few things I love.
