Bill, I remember you were gonna work on a claws/sr brute. Did you ever make a build for it?

Lets bring Raiders Inc back, Laser. I'd love to have raids 3 times a week, easy 53 merits each time.

Indeed I did. I turned it off when we had that rush of new folks join the ST. I was also level pacted so anytime Nibbler wasn't on it slowed down the xp too.

From July 20th to October 7th, playing regularly only on Tuesdays and Thursdays (badging on off days), Rum and Coca Cola, my fire/rad, hit 50 in 87 hours. Not too bad, really.

What: Kinetic Super team
Where: Liberty
When: Mondays and Wednesdays, Starting at 9pm EDT
Who: Brought to you by the folks behind the Fire/Radiation Super team
Why: Fun!
This group will be a team based on the Kinetic power sets available.
Allowed Power sets/Archetypes:- Kinetic Defender
- Kinetic Controller
- Kinetic Melee Tanker
- Kinetic Melee Scrapper
- Kinetic Corruptor
- Kinetic Melee Brute
- Kinetic Melee Stalker
This team will be more theme-oriented than a traditional min/max super team, so there are few specific power choice requirements.
For Kinetics:- Transfusion
- Increase Density
- Speed Boost (as soon as available)
- Fulcrum Shift
- Power Siphon
- Team-focused powers (Leadership, Recall Friend, ect) are always useful.
Miscellaneous Details:- Our first meeting will take place Monday, October 18th at 9 pm EDT by Praetor Duncan in Nova Praetoria.
- Once level 20 and able to leave Praetoria, we will be going blue side.
- Please take a little time and get yourself to level 4 before the first meeting.
- Pacts are not required, but are encouraged.
- We'll be focusing on PVE content (TF, Contact Arcs, AE, radio, etc).
- There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier.
- Since we can't join or start Super Groups while in Praetoria, we'll be coordinating the group through use of a global channel named "Liberty Superteam". Everyone interested in this team must join the channel while we are in Praetoria.
- If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to post here or send a /t or email to @hazygreys in-game. -
Our next raid will be Saturday, 10/9 at 7 pm EST form up time. It will be evacless and we will probably plow thru the final bloom.
-
This is the team make up we will be using:
1. Hami Taunt - 1 Tank, all Emps/Pain in zone add Tank to Friends list, keep them AB'd/PB'd and buffed throughout the raid.
2. Yellow Taunt - 6 Tanks/Brutes, 1 per yellow mito. Must have taunt (ideally slotted with range). Add Emps/Pains to taste. These people will only move from taunt spot on the last attack on Hami
3. Yellow Assault - Scrappers/Brutes +/- Emps/Pain
4. Blue Assault - Blasters/Corruptors
5. Green Assault - Going to shoot for two teams. One team should focus on Controllers/Doms for holds, the other teams can be any damage.
Everyone will need at least 3 EoE.
General Raid Procedure
1. Form up teams.
2. Defeat monsters for EoEs and spawn Hami.
3. Gather at safe rock, allow time for team leaders to go over each team's role/questions/assign yellow taunt targets.
4. Call for buffs: Single Target Buffs, ABs on Hami Tank, RAs
5. Call in teams: Hami Taunter and Yellow Taunt first, Assault Teams in once aggro is controlled.
6. Clear mitos: Yellow Assault attacks yellow mitos, Blue Assault attacks blue mitos, Green Assault teams attack green mitos (all at the same time) in a clockwise fashion until they are defeated. We will start with the closest ones to safe rock. Yellow taunt will just stay in position waiting for respawn.
7. Defeat Hami to 75% (35340 of 47120 total HP). At around 37000 HP, EoEs and RAs will be called. Hami will bloom at 75%
8. Assault teams back to clearing mitos. Yellow taunt will just stay in position waiting for respawn.
9. Defeat Hami to 50% (23560 of 47120 HP) At around 25000 HP, EoEs and RAs will be called. Hami will bloom at 50%.
10. Assault teams back to clearing mitos.
11. Defeat Hami to 25% (11780 of 47120 HP). At around 13000 HP, EoEs and RAs will be called. Hami will bloom at 25%.
12. Assault teams back to clearing mitos.
13. Defeat Hami
14. Merits/HOs
Below is a very poorly edited picture of the order we are doing mitos:

Hi all, I'm gonna try use this topic to post the dates for when Hami Raids are happening. Hopefully weekly raids will make a comeback. The next post will have the basic evacless strategy that we will use.

Alot of times when my load times are long is because CoH has been running for a bit. Restarting usually helps.

It's still open, but with a couple people throwing out ideas and no one else saying anything here, I'm inclined to go with what majority feeling is. There are some good ideas here, though. (Edit: Just noticed your quote from Ex, Ukase. Too true)
Fire/dark corr is great by itself, in a team of 8 it would be just OP. Fire/ice is fun, team of 8 should be fun too.
In game though, to the people I've asked what they would want to do, they have liked the kin idea the most. Kin melee Scrappers/Tankers/Stalkers/Brutes paired with kinetics Cors/Defs/Conts wouldn't be OP and steamrolling (least not at first) but it does have a nice theme with the Kinetic motions and the -dmg being tossed out. And with it being open to all the melee ATs and most of the ranged damage ATs, it would bring a nice mix of things to the table. (i'd be making both a km and a kin, and play whichever is needed more) -
Being unable to kill stuff and dieing a lot doesn't really sound Super though
