Goto is location-based, so you always need to specify with a targeting reticle where they need to go.
I guess you want to order your pets to melee? Im afraid it wont work without using goto and targeting reticle. :/ -

How it should be - currently, your rent is based on all the Pretige your SG has earned.
If, for example, you had a middle sized base, and 90 million Prestige in the bank, you should only be taxed on the total worth of the base, and nothing else.
If you then spend the 90 million on upgrading you base, then that's fair enough for it to be taxed, beause you've turned the Prestige into something physical for your SG.
But taxing unspent Prestige is just dumb.
[/ QUOTE ]
Im with you, its just that your post could have been interpreted either way - I wanted to mke sure. -
[ QUOTE ]
You should only be taxed for physical assets, not the unused Prestige you have in the bank, or total Prestige that you've earned, unless you've actually spent it all.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is this you opinion how it should be, or the current situation? -
Yay grats eyeball!

/Inv scrappers can definitely walk through Force Bubble, so I wouldn't imagine TK having any effect either
Does domination boost the effectiveness of repel?
[/ QUOTE ]
I have never been able to freely 'walk through' any repel effects with my invul tank. I must say im a bit confused about this talk about invulns repel resistance.
On comparison I can ignore force bubble when I pop 4 bfs but my invul tank hasnt got anything like that sort of protection.
I say this requires further research. And lets take it to another thread.
edit: I made thread about it here. -

Aye, agree with Max there. Since I7, taking out objects is really not an option as it takes 3-4 damage dealers a good several minutes to take down a single item and no defenders will leave anyone unmolested that long.
[/ QUOTE ]
Especially if the raids really have been shortened to 30 minutes I doubt that attackers have any time to spare to destroy any extra items. In the raid I poured 4-5 attack chains on the rez ring with my blaster and noticed a miniscule drop in its hp. Therefore I suspect taking out the generator would require just too much and attacking rez rings sounds better idea. In theory taking generator out may sound like a good idea as it shuts all rez rings down, but whether its actually destructible is a different matter.
Apparently the devs made their trademark OVERBOARD maneuver while 'adjusting' the raids. But I dont really mind because if attacking is this hard, the Goonies might actually dare to acquire an IoP. -
[ QUOTE ]
the spawning wasnt too bad and cud be overcome, i think the problem was me and gat, amongst others, had no idea what we were actually supposed to be achieving
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, we didnt have an appointed leader for starters, since Xan pulled out. The whole hero side of the raid was bit haphazard, in my opinion.
For future, I think the actual plan can be simple though: camp defender hospital, destroy rezzing rings, camp entrance while people take turns putting up pylons? Isnt that it more or less? -
Thank you who showed up, at least now I got some raid experience - (my first after baseraids became lvl 50).
Im not too sure whether I enjoyed it or not, though. Now I understand more of the talk thats been going on about baseraids.. Good news is that if attacking is that difficult then Goonies might get an IoP after all.. -
So who are the characters used for sginviting people? Also everybody make sure your chat handle is correct on test server, I have a hunch its not automatically same as on live server. (just tried to gfriend @kinslayer on test

Really? I had about 190,000 prestige before I made any functional changes to my base. After adding the room with an enhancement storage unit (and a few more bits of non-functional furniture and decoration) I now have just 73,120. I wonder where that 120,000-odd prestige went?
[/ QUOTE ]
DUH
it is in the rooms and items whose value count when the total prestige owned is calculated for the RENT
Get it now? If you sell everything you have the same prestige that you started with minus the rent that you may have paid. Only rent lowers the total prestige owned. -

I run in and brawl him, he inps up big time, I placate him and leg it, this angers him having wasted half a tray of insps, que abusive tells lamer/noob/baser/unskilled stalker

MuhahahNice one sero

How long can you keep this topic running? lol
-
[ QUOTE ]
But at the same time, if there's excess presteige in the bank, as that goes down, so will the rent!
[/ QUOTE ]
Total prestige cant go down for any other reason except rent itself, as total prestige owned (whether in bank or in items/base) does not change when you use editor. Therefore, rent does not get smaller either, except if you dont earn more after you have paid it.
If the SG goes quiet, the rent remains high (one of my main grifes) and even if there is somebody to sell stuff and keep paying rent, the base will eventually degenerate until theres nothing left. Back to square one. -
In Sirens call, yeah, for scrappers the figure is propably pretty accurate, but theres more variety on villain side (at least on defiant), Brutes are also quite common. Dominators are still rarest.

my nin/nin has 30% def and gets hit all the time

Same here. I normally play without shields in sirens as they help very little (apart form going thru damage auras to AS). If I want to engage in a scrapping contest I need to augment the shields with insps. -

Just been re-evaluating my TP rooms in light of the new Beacons.
Bought a bigger TP room (Secure 4x3) it fits 4 teleporters with 2 beacons each (8 beacons for the slow ones out there). 1 room = 4 TP = 8 beacons. Cost 740k
The room cost 600k and took up large amounts of space and didn't allow me to put a second one anywhere with my current set up (that I had to shuffle round anyway).
But I worked out that I could have 4 smaller TP rooms fitting 2 TP's each at half the cost and get more beacons in anyway. 4 rooms = 8 TP's = 16 beacons. Cost 880k with room to spare
How does that figure?!!? Sometimes less is more
[/ QUOTE ]
2 small tp rooms with 2 telepads each is indeed cheaper. On the other hand, secure teleport room is the cheapest room to allow defense items (2). All other such rooms cost in excess of 1 mil, but secure tp room cost 600k if I recall correctly. And of course fitting a raid telepad into those small tp rooms is a pain. -
We need villains, keep them coming
I cant edit my first post anymore, so let it be known I can play my stalker lvl 32 claws/nin as well. -

SchrodingersCat was created on the 10th of March 2005 and she's still not 50.
However grats mate

For longest run to 50 you need to be 50There must be myriad of old alts everywhere..
Anyway Congrats to Necro for finally making it. -
Only situation I use rest in pvp is when im in sirens with my stalker and because rest doesnt break hide+invisiblity im on.
-
Well while I'd like to be positive and all, I change my mind after I see a rare ioP with my own eyes. No doubt devs will post a year later "oops, the rare IoP wasnt awarding correctly - fixed".
Maybe Im just a bit jaded about trying to get base raids happen with my own sg
Afaik you need to open two raidwindows for each IoP which stack, meaning soon you have to defend all week long? Secondly, you wont be able to raid anyone but those who have more or same number of IoPs than yourself, right?
Plus I just dont see enough official info about base raids in general.. So I suspect the worst. -
Oh and lol, you might not want health if youre going for defiance build

Claws cons - lack of a big hitter attack.

AS anyone?
Im fairly certain that eviscerate compares ok to other 'bighitters' apart from energy transfer.
Claws scrapping is all about focus and eviscerate. Focus makes a great followup to the AS with its range and very fast activation.
Personally Im not saying that Claws is great - I made a claws stalker because
- it is good 'enough'
- it is by far the coolest stalker primary
- to show it can be done
If you want to err on the side of FOTMness, take ninja blade. -
The trick of TG's defiance-only build was that it used 0 damage enhancements, and therefore made way for other SOs. He hit damage cap with defiance only afaik (well maybe BU I dont know the maths). I think 2 intreduxes would be good in the snipe, they reduce the possibility of snipe getting interrupted when opponent breaks line of sight - ie superjump behind building etc. Other than that range, recharge and a bit of accuracy, Im not interested to think it thru, im just thinking aloud.
Also web grenade is good in some situations, might want to put one more acc in there.
Personally I think Tgs build was interesting, but not all that fun to play. Iirc I was racking up kills with my blapper about the same rate. And Im sure I had much less fuss doing so
Stop lvling.. heh...hehe. Bwhaha!
