Besides, you don't need a 'massive' attack to take down a regen, just bit more than with the others. -

I wouldn't bother with tactics on a regen.
If you're going to stand still, make sure you are watching and listening closely, as you will hear/see the stalker before AS hits, so you can hit dull pain as he AS's you. If you don't have dull pain ready, don't stand still. Im afraid that's just how PvP works in this game.

Any two stalkers double ASing will get a regen scrapper in sirens. But of course we must have been talking about the current state of teamwork in zones.. -

In the game, hmm, I think villains may have something comparable.. Anyways I love conserve energy, it works best after something has crashed you to 0 end (nova, force of nature). Power sink has to hit something first after all.
Energy +buffs, slightly weaker damage. Elec +damage, end drain, hold, anti-stalker field (which only really works against regen stalkers though).
Well i really dont have much experience about elec, only played against it. I think theres not that much difference in damage. The hold is not essential, but it is an added threat. People would need to pack break frees against both /energy and /elec anyway(energy for stuns)

Ive noticed lot of people talking about PVP when they only mean zones..
I think that pvp suffers from the same as PvE ie. lack of players. Since PVP players are only a portion of total populace, it doesnt surprise me that the zones are sometimes lacking people.
I suspect PVP was introduced to draw more people in, unfortunately COX's orientation to teams seems to be too much for some people from other games to understand..
PVP in this game is very nice, not totally in balance but hey, what is. Problem is just lack of players..
And Lord Qel, that comment is about as old as Himalayas. Im growing tired of it. -
With regen scrapper engaging in zone pvp, there are some issues you have heard already in this thread.
a.) Good stalkers only fight when they want to, preferring to wait for the opportunity, so zone can be pretty dead if there arent enough other villains in there.
b.) Regen doesnt make you invulnerable, albeit being a good set overall. Best defense against stalkers is still to keep moving about. I recommend against standing still. However, the zone can be pretty dead if theres only stalkers in there. Can't be helped.
Options are: use a bait, or get good enough +perception.
Latter isnt much of an option against best stalkers, but there will be lot of bad ones in sirens I can guarantee
Try to find an empathy or sonic defender to clear mind/clarity you. You are going to love it against the weaker stalkers(My empath is lvl 16 atm and I want to engage pvp with him.. I'll be there. hehe.)
So-called stalkerhunters aka. SR scrappers and /devices blasters can manage enough perception on their own to spot stalkers with just hide+stealth. You might wanna consider making one of those if you want to hunt stalkers solo.
If not, just keep jumping around and wait for the stalkers to go after someone else and bounce on them. Impale, web grenade to stop them.. etc.
And remember, pvp in this game is made for teams.. so having troubles when soloing or teamed with solo characters isnt end of the world..
PS. I wonder if people start to notice how boring sirens is if theres just stalkers/scrappers in there

And be especially mindful not to listen those 12 year olds moaning in the pvp zones.. thems losers talkingIf they'd be beaten by emp/archery defender it would be flavor of the month.

I just came back after spending couple hours in union sirens call with my dominator (lvl 24 mind/energy). I discovered that while my dominator is not useless, the only situation that it can be useful is when the opponents agree NOT to attack me and let me stack holds in peace. Since there doesnt seem to be enough support available (and villains have less than heroes anyway), I last seconds if they notice me and we didnt already overwhelm the enemy.
Domination was less of an issue, I got to use it rarely but i could stack enough holds to toggledrop tanks, WS dwarves and scrappers without domination anyway (at least if I was speed boosted) - in case I didnt get any aggro that is. And if heroes didnt have defender backup. Mostly I was fighting without domination anyway. All of my secondary was useless except power boost.
So I still have two issues with dominators, damage and survivability with the latter being a serious issue. -
Builds dont make good scrappers, its about players. Good villain players would own the zone if there were mediocre players on the opposing side, given about equal builds and player numbers. One of the problems I see that most regular PVPers still seem to favor hero side. When ive been in sirens ive seen it being controlled by villains and heroes alike. Usually the side im on, o.O even if I try to switch sides to the weaker side always. LAtely ive been PVEing my blaster to 50 though.

Actually this has been my plan for some time now.. I havent really fought any doms since then.. One 2v2 arena match where me and white magus beat corr+dom team 24-0, dunno if that should count.

It is a swap (I think you mean that) - you can only add the new plot on top of the old one. But you need to pay only the difference in prices. Ie. you have 1 million P plot, and want a plot costing 2 million. Upgrading you need to pay only the difference ie 1 million.
You can of course downgrade plots as well, in which case you will be refunded the price difference between old and new. -
Imo they should release a new boxed expansion of COH anyway, simply because the coh package is horribly outdated and requires a day's download of patches to get up-to-date and running. If you buy COV at the same time you get much less downloading to do.

You seriously planning on doing PVP with this toon? People just tend to ignore Stoneys in PVP, so it would seem quite boring to play one in PVP.
I'd probably slot 3 end reducs on Mudpots, seeing how much end it drains. Maybe put a Taunt duration in there as well, seeing as it's really handy for keeping aggro.
Other than that, I see no problems. This thing should be quite unkillable.

If its team pvp, stoneys should concentrate on how they play out of granite now, if they want to do something usefulTherefore the non-granite toggles should be important. Provoke needs another accuracy I'd say.

I myself took barrage, as it fits in nicely as a filler in the attack chain, and seems to disorient more than it's fighures would suggest, plus gives me 5 attacks in my chain for scrapper moments.

energy punch is best possible filler imo, it has one of the fastest activations i know (if not fastest) and does more damage than my hero builder says (at least for my blaster). You can squeeze it in many attack chains. Iirc it has about 1/3 chance of disorient in it.

To my best knowledge, retsu gives defdebuff resistance.
As for energy melee, Id say stay away from barrage and stun, all other attacks are at least nice to have. Energy transfer is bread and butter I guess.
