    I wonder how much of this is assumption though. Cosmic burst for instance does more damage than its energy counterpart power burst, and cosmic burst is also 100% energy damage type as opposed to smash element in power burst. Just because blasters dont have rad set I suspect rad blast is underrated.

    Im not a big friend of traps or devices so I better keep my mouth shut.

    Dominators don't have anything particular to offer to teammates either (no team buffs) and are a liability (possibly the easiest AT of all to kill - much easier than defenders - unless they are mind and have TK). Team would have to keep protecting the dominator instead of dominator strenghtening the team. I havent fought plant doms yet though on comparison and Id like to.

    All defenders however can get telekinesis from their epic pool, which improves their survivability in PvP tremendously.

    Not to mention in team PvP a defender playstyle is more or less run around like rabbit on crack and buff team mates while passing them by with occasional heals etc. Debuffers are different more or less, but my point is that Dominators ONLY useful ability comes from stacking mezzes on their enemies, which means sticking in range of the enemy to be able to do that. And they simply don't have the staying power for it.

    Btw 85% people I have met in PvP are easier to kill than Elerith, Paragon Defenders empath. Just to say that its about skill always, but Dominators don't have the luxury of running if they want to accomplish something.

So im thinking seriously low interrupt time on tripmines to a basic plant it quick scenario, extend duration of smoke grenade so as to disappear when stacked with stealth for longer, a greater -spd on caltrops and a faster drop time and longer lifetime for turret (its not like anyone could say "stop the fight pls i wish to build a turret") and perhaps taser should be taser dart.

    Theres only one power in entire game to buff hold mag, Domination. And actually even it doesnt do it, it just makes copies of holds/mezzes giving the impression of double magnitude.

    Power boost buffs hold/sleep/confuse/stun/fear duration though and that is capital. Aid self could be nice to have on a /en dominator because of power boost..

  10. One method to survive long enough to kill dangerous opponents is to pop 4 def insps, but MMs get the bodyguard mode which should help a lot.

    Once you have Intergration, Dull Pain and Recon you're pretty damn solid actually. They remain the main powers of regen (since the I5 changes anyway) till you're 50

    I agree. When Reconstruction, integration and dull pain are decently slotted, Regen starts to work well. Add hasten and quick recovery to that.

    Erm you mean that room/plot limit always overrides the item limit. Ie if main item allows for 6 add-ons and room 4, then 4 is what you can add. The word limit is usually used in reference to an upper limit.

    Lol how come youre always fighting for them then? When PDs raided Goonies base ages back you were in their team, when we had the 3v3 'vs the PDs' you were in their team.. Lol what else is there

    I hope to see Italian posse take this defeat in stride and come up stronger next time for more PVP.

    Oh and Imo base raids and balance can't be mentioned in the same sentence. (edit: although I just did)
  15. Just produce a list of the remaining contestants and declare them all winners. Its a sad thing that bug happened that took all wind away from the tourney for far too long.

    One main-frame and as many databases as the main-frame(or supercomputer etc) and the control room allows. Databases are add-ons. I think Goonies base atm has a control room that allows for up to 10 databases with the supercomputer. Databases are the most efficient way of getting control, but you will eventually run out of energy instead.

    Crafted control items in general arent worth it (until you get to advanced databases etc). The only reason to have holo displays, mega monitors etc is to save energy, not create more control, as the energy-to-control ratio is better with the crafted ones.

    If you want more control, simply add databases on top of the mainframe. When you cant get any more databases, the only real option is to save prestige for the unlocked supercomputer which will solve control problems for a while. After that its about getting advanced databases etc and ultimately the autonomous expert system.

  19. Mind has TK which boosts dom survivability in duels tremendously. Plus mind has good mezzes(spam dominate, mesmerize) overall. I have no experience from Plant so cant say. I think Grav is ok, but dunno if singularity is better than TK

    In the PvP zones devices is playable because it is possible to have time to find a good spot, deploy mines, telemine etc. In the arena devices is absolute and utter [censored].

    Imo it is complete [censored] in PvE as well.. Sure you can kill mob spawns with the mines but everybody else kills them faster..

    The set needs redesigning.

  22. It was difficult one but good raid until the GM incident.
    Was a good effort by white magus,war man and everyone else im too tired to think of right now. THanks Jackie, Dis, PDs, erm..everybody!

    Two GMs just appeared and apparently killed my Emps, and then Hami killed me. I was facing the other direction so it came total surprise to me. Never saw anybody.

    I still think though that we should stack the holds a bit longer before applying enervating fields. Imo Hami started to lose HP too fast.. I have seen the so-called held-animations right before brawl phase and I highly suspect Hami was held at that stage so I dont trust those animations. Well.. Ive only been to about 10 Hami raids Compared to last one(the succesful one) we certainly rushed that stage. I got no lag or loss of target during holdphase either.

    Unfortunately neither envenom nor weaken stack with themselves. I may spam them just to keep them perma. They are very good debuffs still.

    Lastly, I've noticed that reasonably often, when I send all the thugs to attack a target, particularly one on a higher level, one or two of them will just run back and forth for a while before jumping up there and attacking, or one will do a slow motion run at some piece of furniture in the way. Is there any good way to avoid this? I'm assuming this is just wobbly AI and not really a bug, or should I just /bug it when they do this?

    I have noticed that the Pets pathfinding routine is sometimes really patchy. I use a /petcom_all goto aggressive bind in these cases because the pets tend to find their way better using that. (Ie. order them to find a route to a spot rather than finding route to a enemy)
