    Erm, they do. I'm not sure if its a bug or not but I'd suspect some of your items aren't really working. Did you check them all?

    That is impossible afaik, you are in falling animation all the way down to the ground and after few bounces you do the 'get up' animation (Trust me, Ive power thrusted people off skyscrapers in sirens )
  5. SK = sidekick (lackey and LK in cov)

    Player who is at least 3 levels higher than you can sidekick you, which means you will fight and play as if you'd have the same lvl as your mentor-1 lvl. (you wont gain any new powers but the game will treat you as if you'd be higher lvl). For example, you are lvl 15, and a lvl 50 will sk you. The game will treat you as a lvl 49. This marvelous piece of code allows for lower lvl people to keep playing same missions as their higher lvl friends and is one of my favorite features of COH/COV.

    For sidekick to function, you must stay close to your mentor. The game will warn if you stray too far.

    Sidekicking will not allow you to pass the minimum level requirements of hazard zones.

    You can sk other people when you are at least lvl 10.

    Iirc there have been functionality problems with arcane items ever since bases were introduced.. The devs seem to test things with tech items mainly..

    Id have loads of characters available for lvl 21 fights, but only one for lvl 50 (Im not playing my tank in pvp). I hope you go forward with this.
  9. Smoke flash is bad.

    Placate is a must.

    Thats a start. Caltrops normally isn't worth it unless you make a build that specifically needs it (like tp foe in pvp or whatnot).

    You will want to 3-slot your defensive toggles with defbuffs sooner or later. Rin is important so is Sha. The build above is a nice start . I'd take hurdle instead of swift though.

    Edit: Well in normal PvE there are a lot of ways to build your character so experiment and have fun.

    Yeah but I'd imagine you'd land on your butt which is a no-no in PvP. (we were talking about KB resist)

    I wish I could participate with low lvl alts but everytime I try I get disappointed because they are so weak.
  13. Both Acrobatics and Unyielding has been foolprrof for me so far.. My tank hasnt been KB thru unyielding ever, and neither has my blaster thru Acrobatics iirc..

    I still think poison can be real good in PvP, it can top any debuff numbers dark has, as long as it hits which is where dark gets some headway with tar patch.. Dark just gets the AoE heal which so [censored] good with MMs its unbelievable and I think should be *cough* nerfed.. But poison is pretty much -everything (except -fly and -jump..) which I like so much Weaken is like a reverse power boost and it doesnt end there..

    I wish Id get my poison MM lvled some day..

  18. Power thrust has no use in combat really other than knocking people about. In my own PvP build I have 2 acc in it so I can hit with it in PvP when I need to but thats all there is to it really. Energy punch I love personally, underrated damage and one of the fastest attacks there is. You can squeeze it in many attack chains because it is so darn fast.

    Bonesmasher is one of your big damage attacks and I recommend getting it when you can

    I believe frost breath is an ok power in PvE but not that good in PvP.

    Yes, before anyone carries my words any further I meant that there seems to be a higher percentage of those jackasses who flame over tells and channels than on defiant. I'd fathom most of them don't even post here at the forums. I did not direct this statement specifically at RPers or those PVPers that I know personally.

    Since I don't PvP on union I'm not touching the subject of what the pvp zones are there like. I have to admit that I don't like non-PvP things in a PvP zone either, and will not tolerate getting told off from PvPing in a PvP zone either.
  20. I hope you catch several of those hatespewers from the chat logs and they receive what they deserve from the mods. I have never been aware of any particular rifts between RPers and PVPers, at least any PVPers that I appreciate.

    I can't believe anyone could ever believe this for a second.. It was funny joke but I'm sorry to hear RP community got flamed for no reason of their own.. I hope you can get over it and stay in game.. Don't let 'them' win.

    Hey, sorry if theres another thread about this in the forum depths but im lazy.. But can somebody give me a short recap of Electric armour, what it needs and what is unnecessary. If someone can provide fairly reliable numbers Id appreciate it.
    Im not trusting my hero builder much.

    Particularly, does it have a hole in knockback resistance as it looks like? Do I need acrobatics? What resistance powers are worth slotting and why. I have an opinion about what I want but Id like some failrly reliable info.

    I'm aiming mainly for PVP but my question is more of the overall usefulness of the Ela powers.

    Edit ps. and which of the toggles are endurance-hungry

    My new EM/Elec brute, Captain Hellfire has been unleashed on roque isles and I like it already..

    If youre referring to mace pool then the problem is its duration I think, which has felt pretty weak from the little experience I have.

    On comparison hero epics feel certainly stronger.. All defenders get telekinesis, hello? hello? Trollers get mez resistance (I mean if they already didnt have from their secondary..) etc etc I mean how can anyone say that PPPs are on par with that stuff..
