Just measure a timescale larger than that of hastens recharge. I can't imagine it not increasing the DPS, affecting dull pain recharge, unstoppable recharge, all attacks+taunt recharge. Since hasten has no drawbacks other than endurance. Of course it is sustainable effect, as long as you look at large enough picture. And quite frankly I can't tolerate war mace when hasten is not running. -
To return to this original issue, no, its not wrong to ask. But if they don't follow, theres no way to call down the wrath of Mods or any other kind of punishment. Those people attacking you werent doing anything wrong, thats the point. If they arent 'gentlemen' then they weren't.
I hear your worries, I had the similar issue with my main getting the RV AV badges. I was missing one after multiple attempts, and there were 2 teams in RV trying to get them, while couple villains came and tried to prevent us. I can tell you I was cursing and swearing - in RL. On broadcast you can't do much more than ask them not to.
I ended up getting my PvP blaster and attempted to reduce every player villain coming out of the gates into a little greasy spot. Note, this is the PvP solution. Taking the issue verbally to the villains and demanding them to stop isn't, and I didnt do so. Ultimately everybody got the badges, and fighting for them is what I'd like to see happen anyway. It increases the badges value
(note to self: ask the hardcore PVP players to bodyguard you when you go after the AV badges. THeyll surely jump on the opportunity to beat the harassing players, just make sure the hardcore guys are on your side)

Right. Well what you can do to other people changes dramatically whether or not youre in PvP zone. THe Hami incident and other PvE zones indeed have lower threshold for griefing.
However, in a PvP zone rules change. As stated some acts that would be considered griefing outside a PvP zone arent necesssarily so in a PvP zone as stated by mods in several occasions. Tp foeing a player villain to Statesman to punch is basically ok. -

However, I guess youre talking about RV here? RV is not a PvE zone. And pulling monsters to people has been stated as a valid tactic by mods and even statesman himself. However, continually doing so to same player can be considered griefing and alarm bells go off. -

Well in reality, whenever I have killed someone in a PvP zone against their wishes, I usually get tells like "you ****. Im not disturbing you in any way. How difficult is it to leave me alone??"

It is a different thing asking people to do something and demanding them to. Bottom line is that the other players arent obliged to comply to these requests in a PvP zone. Most would, but demanding them to do so is where you can go wrong.
If someone asks me to stand aside while they kill an AV in a PvP zone, only in rare occasions could I bring myself to attack, im too nice a person. SAme goes for dueling and badgehunting etc. BUT. I recognize that I have no obligation to comply to their wishes. Similarly it is wrong to introduce any kind of 'gentlemans rules' here on the forums and expect people to comply to them. PvP zones are PvP zones, and imposing any other kind of rules on other people (even 'gentleman's rules') is wrong.
There is a difference in the point-of-views. -

No in all seriousness, that was massive fun.I thank you everyone who was there and helped. I want to participate whenever I can, but unfortunately I can't be there every time. I have huge amount of friends I want to also help and team and socialize with. Plus Id like to get more characters lvled..
But I'll be there whenever I can. I have not forsaken PvP in any way. Just so much to do and so little time..

You are probably hitting the -res cap. all different powers stack, but some don't stack with themselves.
Edit: or your damage cap more likely, the -res cap is supposed to be about -400%.

The -res cap that was mentioned somewhere sometime was at least -200% iirc, but I don't think it is related to +damage cap, which is something like +500-600% for most ATs, right? To keep it simple, I don't think the caps come into effect here. -

I've fought DA scrappers and brutes, I dont remember how many, never lost to one in arena though. I think Dark has least protection of the secondaries against my blaster.
Ps. the Pocket D terminals are for the heroes and villains to socialize in the same space when PvPing - it helps tremendously when youre having tournaments. -

Well played ones propably but that has nothing to do with MoG. Its about having both dull pain and fast recharging self-heal, and IH to kill minutes off the clock. Using MoG would be a mistake as my blaster 4-5 shots regens who activate MoG straight up. Unresistable damage ftw.
Even bloody phantom army would kill a MoGger quickly (PA does psi damage)
Besides melee characters including regens are disadvantaged more or less seriously against debuffers. Trollers, corrupters, etc. The AT balance mostly works itself out when were not thinking about 1v1s.
I don't like the FOTM concept, is mostly used in jest or in negative way. -

Also it's priamry defence against elements is smashing, lethal and negative energy, at the top of my head I can say that negative energy damage is only common in a few groups like CoT or the council while ninjutsu offers a small amount of protection against all types of damage. (except psych damage)
It's your choice but I'd say that you should go for ninjutsu.

Kuji-In Retsu offers defense to psionic damage just like Elude afaik. Also Kuji-In Rin offers small resistance to psi damage. -

This would be good. Masterminds have a problem there. I suspect there might be some technical reason to not do it but Im sure it could be solved. Like, masterminds having an additional flag whether or not pets are up, and if they are, the game respawns+upgrades pets automatically upon entering. -

There is no timer on PFF. You can keep it on indefinitely and it doesnt even cost much end (iirc I have 1 end redux 3 defbuff just in case). It has relatively fast recharge (something like 20 secs). It is excellent panic button, even in PvP.
Force of nature may be decent in PvE as panic button but PFF is a lot better as one. Main drawback of FON is its huge recharge. FON offers no mez protection. It is merely damage resistance power + end recovery boost iirc. When FON crashes, it only crashes the endurance bar, not touching HP unlike unstoppable.
I have not tried out repulsion field but I suspect it is a pretty naff power. -

Depends on your secondary and what you want to hit? Aim is +37.5% ToHit, Build Up is +15%, that totals to +52.5%, which is more than enough against pretty much anything (you might still miss against stuff like a MoGed Paragon Protector) if you're not doing PvP.
If you're going for PvP, 1 or 2 slots in Aim might be worth it, depending what you want to go against. Also if you're /Energy and low on slots, get Power Boost, it pretty much doubles the +ToHits.

Just noting , that my PvP blaster has 6-slotted aim and Build up both, 3 recharge, 3 toHit. In addition I have powerboost, 3 recharge. I'm not really interested in calculating how effective or overboard that actually is, as long as I can hit 4 hits out of 5 thru personal forcefield, elude, MoG, radiation infection and Kuji-In retsu like I do I am happy
(I have to admit that since energy manipulation is pretty easy on slot placement I have slots to spare for this)
ps. as for protection against holds, Im afraid blasters dont get much. Acrobatics is enough to protect you from the autohit hold of telekinesis or 1 blaster-strength hold. THats about it. Force of nature from Force mastery doesnt give mez protection unlike some people seem to think. -

I thought you lost 25% hp of base health, anyway in dealing with paragon protectors whom you have to hit down to a certain amount of hp then one hit the rest to prevent the panic button i find i have to attack them with iirc about 3 times more attack chains than i would of needed to use on their whole lifebar had they not mogged. Unstoppable on tanks leaves you with very low health and they are the ones getting hit the most. Balance is looked at across the powerset i believe and even towards xp/time via potential downtime of which regens are low on.
And i barely ever in over the 4000 hours i have probably spent ingame ever seen a regen play in a way that actually cares about other people dying.

No, MoG PUTS you at 25% health and you cannot gain more health while it is running. It is very far from unstoppable. MoG doesnt have a crash, or, you could say it crashes straight when you activate it.
My biggest grife with MoG come once again from PvP, in which MoG is far from being good (zomg criticals are unresistable, corrupters anyone? Psi damage? Blasters?)
Elude gives practically as much defence but doesnt touch the hp bar meaning you can heal normally when Elude is running (elude also crashes only the endurance bar). PLUS elude gives defense against psi!
Unstoppable gives max resistances and similar endurance recovery boost like both MoG and Elude. And it only crashes AFTER the timer is upmeaning you can anticipate it and run. I have to admit that unstoppables crash is the most severe, but you get the 3 minutes of god-mode before that happens.
ps. dont compare NPC powers to those that players have.. NPCs always get better powers. -
