Yeah.. there are counters to stealth, just as there are counters to CM stacking. There are counters to regen scrappers and there are counters to trollers. THere is a counter to everything. Thats what creates the overall balance. If you think that stalkers own pvp, thats wrong.. There are always hardcore pvp players who could come to sirens with their heroes, cram the stalker into a pigskin and play ball. And they could do it the other way around too. You just have to accept that solo pvp does not really work except for fair few people. Try to find teams or ask for help in pvp zones from the pvp channels (arena or defiant pvpers global)

Its altogether different problem that villains have it hard in Sirens because there are usually more heroes there, and most of the villain powersets may not be as useful in sirens lvls than, say, regeneration.

I have to admit that I often end up playing my stalker in sirens from villain side because the other chars will get massacred too easily. I dont really like having to do that. (theres not enough good support or teamwork on villain side).

They can get mud pots. All tank primaries get some form of taunt aura.

Hasten, power boost, conserve power, stimulant+aid self are all good. To be able to use aid self best, you might want to get power mastery and personal force field, although its not a necessity.

ps screech + stun is not enough to go over disorient protection powers. ps. Stun sucks. Use total focus instead. Screech is great stunning those WITHOUT disorient protection though.

Main reasons for power boost:
a.) aid self. It will double your selfheal! (you will heal about 66%-70% of life bar with PB+aid self)
b.) PB+amplify+BU will allow you to hit through most every defense (elude, personal forcefield, MOG, you name it), at least when slotted right.
c.) It will double the disorient duration when you know opponent is out of breakfrees.

I guess youre still missing my point. I wanted to have stripes on her SKIN and not on costume itself. To accomplish this I have the spandex of suitable color underneath the shirt (currently) and put the stripes on the spandex. This wasnt possible until I8 and the new shirts.

To make you better understand, heres a pic of her current 1st costume.

To have the stripes UNDERNEATH the costume wasnt really possible until now (at least on upper body). And still, you see her having the sneakers with socks up to her knees. It is still not possible to have a combination of, say, slip-ons and stripes, because there are no stripes available for lower part of legs. Have to use boots that cover her legs up to the knees.

ps. Also note, because she has real cat ears, I have to use correct type of hair that covers the 'human' ears that otherwise still appear even if you use cat ears.

Nova is the best looking one imo. The mobs flying in all directions appeals to me (even if its not really useful). Inferno is propably the best blaster nuke though cause of its pure damage.

To update my opinion about the new power burst range, the change is nice, but I dont consider it as groundbreaking.. Sort of nice change considering that devs have a history of going overboard in one direction or the other.

After next respec my blaster is going to have three dam/range HOs in power burst though. Thats got to feel somewhere.

Personally I dont think that naked characters that are naked just for the sake of nakedness even look very good. Only time I have made a female character that had to use nakedness, was when I made a were-tigress and I wanted to use the tiger stripes. Unfortunately the costume builder didnt allow the use of the stripes in combination of any upper body clothes apart from basic spandex bodycondom, so she had to go around topless (I wanted the stripes to be on her skin and not clothes). Thankfully I8 fixed the problem and Tigreena now has nice shirt in addition to the stripes. She still cant use all the costume options (gloves, shoes) with the stripes.

Ps. to look sexy, what you don't show is more important than what you show. Leaves things to imagination, you see.

Everybody survives the AS (due to anti-oneshot code). Difficulty is surviving the next hit.

Sounds to me like it was never programmed correctly and the buttons meant for tournament simply link to the normal game-generated royal rumble matches..

I dont understand why they dont make the auto turret scurry along on little wheels, or small tracks like a mini-tank. Id like that.

The immobility is imo a remainder from ancient history (when invul tanks were immobile with unyielding etc).

Well all I know about it come from dueling one fire/something at lvl 50, I think the best it did was survive 4 hits. Other times it was 2 or 3-shotted by my blaster straight after spawning..

I reckon fire is more damaging one, but damage alone just doesnt help much in pvp. Repel from singularity might even have some use.

ps. theres no such thing as brawl index. People refer to damage modifier now.

That is pretty unrelated to chatting though. SAme applies for instance people after the time badge who just stand in the base. I have proposed improvements to the system long ago but nothing has happened yet. I guess its not high priority..

One thing chatters could do to help bounty hunters. Get killed, so you can't be assigned as someones bounty.. Can still chat to your hearts content while lying facedown..

They don't 'cap out' there, rather that is as high as they can get with selfbuffs. Better not use the word in the wrong context. You can always use damage inspirations to hit the REAL cap.

What rules? PvP in CoH has no Code of Conduct and no Rules of Engagement like most MMO's that include PvP in their gameplay.So basically CoH allows nonsense like this.

It is nonsense only in your own mind. That is your opinion. Better get that straight. I can't imagine a game where chatting in a pvp zone would be forbidden. It will always be stupid from fighters point of view (easy killings) but that is another matter.

Back when I was arenaing without acrobatics, I thought BFs did work against knockback. I don't know how many do you actually need, because the KB magnitude in attacks seems to vary. (like we found out in the grounded case)

ps. yeah and telekinesis and force bubble do repel, not knockback.

pps. I wish the devs would remove the KB from explosive blast and energy torrent, to make them more useful in PvE teams.
